    I got delivery of this bike 2 days before , it is amazing machine. I rode it even in bumper to bumper traffic and not just 1 hr 2 hr, full 3-4 hours. Rode it today too for straight 3 hours only in city. Comfortable and everything is amazing. But if you're shorter than 5'8" then go with speed 400. Turning radius is good no probs.
    It is really a good looking badass bike. Just love it. Cruising on Highway is something unforgettable. For city or for highway, this machine is unmatchable but yes atleast your half feet on both side at the same time should be placed on ground else go with speed 400.
    Mileage is something i don't mind, because who cares when u love the machine. I didn't check it but yes dealer told me it has 2-3 litre petrol and i too put 5 litre petrol in it. After having rideen 100km (out of which 60km on highway in 6th gear speed was maintained between 80-100kmph), it started showing low fuel warning ⚠️. I guess mine give me 20 or 22 km per litre. But I'm sure it is a thirsty Bull which drinks alot of petrol 😂. As pillion it is very very comfortable even in long distances. Don't listen hatred, just visit nearest showroom and check it yourself.
    I just wanna keep riding it. That's the level of comfortable.
    P.S.- it may be personal point of view but yes triumph raised bar high. 1 year earlier i was struggling to find good looking powerful bike in this 3-4 lakh bracket, now we have 2 option speed 400 and scrambler 400x. I found ktm etc bikes ugly.
    🤜If you have enough money for petrol. If you don't mind 20-23kmph, if your height is 5'8"+, if you love this look
    My recommendation- just buy it. Don't watch reviews, don't doubt your decision just purchase it and I'm sure you will love it.

    Spoke wheels on Himalayan there is a logic behind it. Himalayan is made for off-roading and adventure biking, alloy wheels on adv can break due to the weight of the bike + rider and the force put on them. While spoke wheels can handle that force and may bend but they do not break. All you have to do to fix the the rim is to adjust the spokes which is cheaper and any mechanic can do at a cheaper cost. Having a Spoked-Tubeless tire is very expensive and is only available for Rear tyre made by Dismotech. One tubeless spoke tyre assembly only for rear costs 21000 Rs. Now you do the math.

      Very well said bro, but in India I 99% riders don't do intense off road which also need gud level of off road riding skills, I have done off roading on Scrambler, it can easily handle off road patches, slush at moderate level which is great for most of the riders in India. But yes, if riders do regularly intense/hard core off roading then they can consider spoke wheels other wise in all aspects Scrambler is far ahead then RE as of now.

    Great but even greater and best would be if they had improved mileage or bring a hybrid to improve the mileage, gave Colored big Display, and more imp is the work on clutch and also rear imprvement...otherwise still overpriced but a great start from Bajaj.

      @@devanathk2005 LOL, Speed 400 is not a scrambler. Speed 400 is not a replacement for the Scrambler 400 at all by any means.

    • @devanathk2005
      @devanathk2005 8 місяців тому +5

      @@JustAnAtheist then you need to learn how to ride tall bikes if you want a scrambler because all scramblers have relatively high seat hights
      Either improve your skills or stick to cruise bikes 🙂
      What i would recommend is riding a bicycle with seat height set high up that way you can't reach your leg while sitting normally. When you are going to stop slide to the left side and reach with one leg and also learn to balance the bicycle without moving and keeping both your feet off the ground

    • @JustAnAtheist
      @JustAnAtheist 8 місяців тому +3

      @@devanathk2005 LOL,
      Yezdi scrambler = 800mm seat height.
      RE scrambler seat height = 800mm
      Even RE Himalayan 452 which is a great offroader has seat height in between 805 , 825, 845 mm seats.
      It's Triumph's fault that it didn't think of seat height properly considering Indian audience in this regard.
      Note: Sasta internet mila he to kuch bhi dimag se hago mat.

    • @devanathk2005
      @devanathk2005 8 місяців тому +6

      @@JustAnAtheist i would request you to take a 15 cm scale and measure 35mm
      Seat height won't tell you the whole story
      Seat width also plays a huge role and taking the Himalayan 452 as an example it has a really narrow seat and even a 5.6(if i remember correctly - the other guy than shumi from motoring inc ) can keep his foot down on the 845 mm setting. Also the 805mm seat is an optional one.
      So i would recommend not being a spec sheet warrior and try out the bike and see if it will work for you.
      If you want less than 30hp and sup par reliability you can go for the other options mentioned which also weighs heavier and with inferior equipment compared to 400x (except spock wheels which I do think only adv bikes should use in this day and age)
      400x is an amazing scrambler but because it's based on a roadster platform it has a slightly taller seat height (adv 390 with 855mm and wide seat - because it's based on the Duke ) but makes up with it's capabilities
      I would like to know you height
      I'm taking from a perspective of a 5 10 guy
      I also have a recommendation if you want to get the 400x
      Just take it's seat and go to a seat shop guy and reduce the foam thickness thereby reducing seat height
      The 400 twins are not a Indian model like the Harley x440 it's a international product which is being manufactured and sold in India by Bajaj for triumph
      I also hope you have ridden bikes above 200cc liquid cooled ( 350cc air cooled bikes cannot be included)
      Then I can justify your seat height problem 🙂
