Agree with Jill's lack of faith in being able to form a coalition with a party that will attack their own members until you lose your home, your job, your security, your family and your savings. Thinking you can bring this party back from the power-at-any-cost crowd is pure nostalgia. It's delusional.
Not sure I’d heard that 45 wanted to invade Mexico before today but his dictator-love and instincts are on daily display even now. Thank you Miles Taylor for your bravery and personal sacrifice. IGen is an important pod with a profoundly important message every week.🙏🙏🙏
Vic,son, young man..you have a bright future ahead of you. You're one of those young people who make me think,"..why couldn't I have been that smart when I was that age?" You have a lot in common with Miles. I hope you never have to give up everything he did for the sake of principles.. astounding and tragic.
Miles Taylor showed real courage and integrity to speak out as one of the leading dissenters. It really is inspiring to see these examples of risk taking for a worthy cause. Miles said it cost him his home and his marriage. Yikes. He really dug deep in service to his honor toward himself and his country. Great interview guys.
@@llc1976 I’m tired of all the so-called “adults” who stayed with the Trump administration to keep the wheels from coming off. We needed people to tell the public that Trump is unfit for office. I have more respect for the ones who came out and said “Trump is a f*cking moron.” , then waited until the end of his administration to write a “tell all” book. That’s not being courageous.

Thanks, Miles. Spot on that it was obvious from the very beginning that Trump was a horrible person lacking both skills and character. But the Republican party as the party of free market, free people, free minds? Not in my lifetime once I became of voting age, and that was 50 years ago.
I’m very disappointed in my government today. There was ample opportunity to put Don the Con out of office. He was never more than a conman and he was such a tyrant that he bullied the entire Republican party into submission and the Democrats didn’t do enough to make sure he didn’t finish his term and could never hold public office again. If he is not in prison, he WILL be the Republican candidate in 2024.
@@jennifer60515 Yes, and it really terrifies me especially given Putin's invasion of Ukraine after he has made so much progress toward achieving one of his goals, which is to cause discord and disunity in any democratic country. Trump and Fox and many in the Republican party were and are helping Putin in this endeavor. I can hear the MAGAT and GQP nembers' election narrative now...."if Trump were still in office, Putin would not have invaded Ukraine because Trump is a tough guy and would have 'taken care' of the problems in Ukraine. We need to reelect Donald Trump to keep our nation safe." Before that, we have midterms approaching and who knows what happens then. I feel pretty certain that the despicable Tucker Carlson will soon be repeating Putin's lies about Nazi and Communist forces in Ukraine. And the intellectually lazy, willfully ignorant, and just plain stupid members of Trump's base will believe him. Not to mention that CPAC has begun in Orlando today so there's lots of opportunity to ignite more lies, more hate, more conspiracy theories, more fever dreams. I truly cannot believe the state of our country, the United States of America, is in this condition. And, Joe Biden, do you really believe sanctions will have any effect on Putin? He and his oligarchs will be just fine, and as far as the Russian citizens, he doesn't give a damn.
Having spokes up 4 times at at a previous job for things that I knew were morally wrong, I knew I was on the chopplng block. I did lose that job. Always remember the only thing you have to live with for the rest of your life is yourself. Think about after ww2 the people who who had to live the rest of their lives knowing they didn't speak up.
Miles Taylor is very well thought-out and articulate, however, I always wince when I hear that phrase "life-long republican." What does he think when considering the Reagan-Bush-Tea Party- Gingrich-McConnell effects on that party? That's a very lengthy swath of destruction. At least he encouraged republicans to vote for Biden.
I think about and listen to many discussions/podcasts/interviews about all of these topics and more; but, this one, today has really startled me into a different type of reality of what we (all) must do. And do, now. Thank you.
Miles is not a stool pigeon, he is a whistleblower. Whistleblowers are an essential part of democracy. Democracy depends on an informed electorate and that requires a free press that is open to legitimate whistleblowers who have exposed political corruption, dangerous products from medical devices that kill people to manufacturing defects in cars and missile guidance systems that also kill people. Miles didn't betray or rat out anyone, he fulfilled a duty to the American public to tell the truth about a very dangerous situation in our government.
The republican party is terminal, even if individuals didn't directly have their hands in these practices, they still knew and did nothing. It's over your trying to reach people who are beyond help, they have been allowed to show the world who they really are and they will never be reabilitated. Your assuming that everyone has good in them and we have seen proof, that is not the case.
One of the best speaker yet! He needs to get out there in front to speak more. I’d like to see him run. And Jill I’m in your generation. We need these smart young patriots.
It's mind boggling how certain people are so eager to embrace wild & crazy conspiracies while running like heck from the truth. (That's cult 45 for you..)
Miles, where are the children you had removed from their parents at the border? I hear they were given to Betsy DeVos to sell to parents looking to adopt. I want to know. WHERE ARE THE CHILDREN??????????
Thank you for watching this episode of iGen Politics with Miles Taylor! Tune in next week for another great episode.
Please tell Miles Taylor's website, thank you !

Thanks for this interview. Read Miles's book and it was an eye opener. Always enjoy this channel.
I've been a fan of him and Olivia for quite a while. Especially with their reaction to the Pence run Covid Task Farce.
Another fantastic guest and video today! Appreciate you and your work.

No, he’s not. He’s a coward and if he thought Trump should have been removed, he should have resign and come out publicly.

Why didn't they, too late, the damage is done and we have to carry this astronomical breach of security that America has never seen before.
Right. Now Russia has invaded Ukraine and Trump is calling him a genius. He needs to be imprisoned for the traitor that he is.
You forget Miles was the guy who leaked what Trump was doing to the New York Times...what..around 2018-19....he was the mystery guy...

Americans wanted a TV personality as president. They didn’t look beyond the TV screen and the suit. And, WE ALL paid the price.

The problem with Jon Stewart
He reminds me of Tom Cruise.
What do Republicans offer to the everyday person?
Republicans offer nothing unless you’re wealthy.
