You get the idea!
More like the SP01 full size rather than the P01 compact. Nice clone.
I got mine for $649
Tanfoglio makes excellent pistols. I have a Tanfoglio Witness Pro in 10mm similar to that Stock 1 but it has a 4.5 inch bull barrel. Great carry pistol if weight doesn't bother you. I carry mine all the time. SAR K12 Sport is a copy of the Tanfoglio and parts are interchangeable.
I had the K12 sport. I liked it alot but moved on. Great guns.
Nice gun. Thinking about getting this in 10mm as a woods gun. Either that or M&P
I got my Stock I in 10mm when IFG first started importing them. Spent way too much money in making it the ultimate 10mm pistol.
EAA no longer brands Tanfoglio pistols. IFG is the new importer, and the pistols are called Defiant, they are no longer being called Witness.
Good to know

Still great pistols. I have a Witness Stock 3 in 45acp. Looking to acquire one of those Defiant Stock 1's.
That's where I got my STOCK I. They were allowed to import any Tanfo that EAA didn't. After a few years now IFG got it all probably due to like answering the phone when customers called.
The ifg website is horrible, trying to compare models is annoying lol.
Nice job on this review
Is this gun Double action only?
No. It's both. Just like CZ 75.
What the barrel length ?
4.45”
Do you like this pistol more than a beretta m9 ?

A CZ clone pistol would be expected to have interchangeable parts with the CZ pistols. A CZ derived pistol would be expected to have similar design features but no interchangeable parts with the CZ pistols. The Tanfoglio full size small frame pistol may take a CZ 75 magazine but few other parts. I have the IWI Jericho 941 which is similar to the Tanfoglio full size small frame pistols.
Psa has a sale on these for just under $650
Just got one myself for 649 at PSA. Heck of a price
Tanfoglio cloned the original CZ75 in the early '80s, and started developing from there. It had been on a different evolution line in respect to the CZ pistols for almost 40 years. Today there's practically no part interchangeability (Differently from the IWI Jericho/Baby Eagle, that are Tanfoglio TA90 assembled in Israel, so almost everything is interchangeable with a Tanfoglio small frame).
For its defense lines (metal and polymer frame), Tanfoglio offer, for every model, the double choice, frame mounted "1911 style" safety, or slide mounted "Beretta style" safety-decocker (the same used on the Baby Eagle). However the ones with the decocker are not imported in the US.
For the sport line, only the "1911 style" safety is available. The Stock I is a race gun (Francesco Perazzoli just won the European Championship IDPA, SSP division, with one), so no decocker available.
Love the combination of classic material wood grips/black-blue finish with the modern competition aesthetics of the slide cuts & contours.
If I had a dollar for every time someone said tangfolio...
I have the IFG in a 40mm pistol it is just excellent
A Tangfoglio in 38 Super is on the gotta have list
The oversized beavertail on these is more to aid in recoil control and to prevent hammer bite than slide bite. It is virtually impossible to get slide bite on a CZ-type pistol unless you are holding the pistol completely wrong.
I have a friend who is very overweight. His hands are 'meaty' and he gats slide bit on a lot of guns.
That rear sight doesn’t look easily replaceable to fit properly or am I wrong? I’ve never noticed the way it’s inset but then I’ve never been able to see one up close and in person. Love everything else about it.
The 6" 10mm hunter in blue with wood grips in gorgeous,
The 45 version is sweet to,
The should have updated it long ago by putting and optic cut at least on it,
They have the side mount but that's not what people want really.
Have you had the chance to try the SAR9 K12 STSP?
I was looking at one, and considering the Stock 1.
I did a video on the K12 sport. Its here on the channel, just search it out.
Looking at this in a 45acp very nice 👌
hahaha @ 5:28 people like to imagine these days. Imagine a world where a veteran can put a glock out, chamber a round as he pulls it, then hit a 5inch plate at 50 yards with five shots. 9mm
People like to say ohhhh keep one in the pipe. I don't trust glock. i don't trust sig either, i don't trust any gun that much unless it has a manual safety. I however did practice the above tell it was natural. Just like you with your safety. I want a 1911 to practice with, imagine if what if world war happens and im stuck with a 1911, need to get used to that safety at sum point i guess. M9's are okay too i guess slide safety still seems weird to me.
Tanfoglio is own by who??? in your dreams...
Tanfogli is owned by EAA. Google it.
@@TheJimminiShow No, you have no idea of guns,,,
It's Tanfoglio. (pronounced tan-fo-lee-o)
Thanks. Im forcing myself to say it correctly now. Just like Porsche. Poor sha
I have a defiant too in 10MM. It's awesome with a custom ported 6 inch barrel.
I’m strongly considering a 10mm variant of this gun also, I own a few CZ’s 75 and I’m curious what is interchangeable between them (grips, sights, springs, etc?) and how hard are magazines to find? I’d appreciate the help
@@HR66590 Really there are two types of CZs CZs and CZ Clones. Jericho 941 is really a Tanfoglio, Turkish CZ are also Tanfos. Bull and MAP CZs are Tanfos. Many parts exchange other then barrels and some sights depending on year. Tanfoglio is the only large frame CZ clone so 10mm 45ACP are their own MEC-GAR mags. Otherwise all mags even for 9mm and 40S&W interchange both weapon and caliber. The 10mm mag is suppose to be the same as the Grand Power 10mm mag.
I held a Tristar P120 Turk clone of the CZ SP01, and it’s a heavy ass pistol.
So, I'm watching this video 2 years after you've released it. How has your Stock 1 held up? I just purchased this model in 45acp and as soon as my FFL opens up I will be picking it up. I wish that I could have paid the price you mentioned. Mine was a little more, rather a lot more. As you I am a fan of CZ and wanted the 97, but CZ no longer makes it, so the Tanfoglio was the next best thing.
If the build quality is as good as the CZ, then I should be very happy with this purchase. Be curious to know if you are satisfied with yours?
I believe he said during the video, "If I could afford it" this Stock I he was showing was being sold at a local gun shop near him.
Good review. Thanks!
Pardini is it a gud Gun 😂
Not CZ but SIG P210.
Impossible to find magazines for Tanfoglio line of guns
It accepts cz 75 mags
Top
10mm is best mm
Thank you for this video. I own one Tanfoglio Stock 1. I like it very much, but maybe it is too heavy to carry. I think I am going to swap it for a Sig Sauer p320 M17.
Thats a mistake. Is it true you like it very much??? Those that trade guns that they like very much usually live to regret the day the decided to let it go. Now is your chance to do some critical thinking. Otherwise be tighter about the guns that you describe as ones you like very much. Hmmm how do I know these things. Good luck either way
@@raymondwilliams6601 Thank you for your very accurate comment. Maybe I meant to be very kind to my old pistol, my Tanfoglio. I can tell you that I am very happy with my brand new Sig M17, and that I think it was not just by chance that the USA Army chose it as the sidegun for thousands soldiers.
Dude I love the fericho for the money u can't beat it
