I don’t need to see it I can feel the fish on it. That what I’ve always heard about too water fishing don’t set the hook when you see the blow up wait a few second until you feel the fish on the bait. But that’s what I’ve always heard so that’s what I do and it works for me a lot of times I’m not even looking at the bait I just feel the strike and set the hook
Buy a higher quality frog and get in the habit of squeezing the water out about every three or four casts to avoid it sinking. The two I love are the Terminator and R2S Bully Wa 2!!! Had the sinking problem with bass pro brand frogs and spros. Hope this helps!
Try opening the hooks about 1/16th off of the body of the frog and maybe just a bit more . Takes away a little of the weedless but I get better and more positive hook sets. Good Fishing!!!!
Just fished top water frog for the first time yesterday! Absolutely loved it!!
Med heavy -heavy 7ft-7-5 baitcaster set up 40lb braid you’ll wack em
It’s an absolute blast!
I'd love to see you guys cover prop frogs!
Been putting a strip of blaze orange fingernail polish on the back of my frogs for years. You're welcome
Why did you have 2 bobber stops at the knot
I do the same with mine could be a flipping rod too.
This is so satisfying to watch dude. Love it, 100%... I need to crank more vids like this man.

I can't keep frogs from filling with water and sinking even with squeezing water out after every cast. Any tips for that issue?

Why the bobber stops on the line above the knot?
I was gonna ask the same question...its got me curious
It stops the braid from wrapping up in the hooks
@@djack92592 oh ok, I've never had that problem.
It's more of a problem with treble hooks than frog hooks
@@djack92592 so then maybe that's not why hes got them on there?
Good Fishing Casting Bos 👍
I always get tons of hits with frogs but I lose more fish on frogs then any other bait. Good hits but tough to set the hook consistently

I had the SAME question. How can he see a bright BELLY???🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
The red nose flashes while you are working it through the cover.
@@Wired2Fish Better to just have a pink head like the deps slither k colors (visible black and visible green.)
Good stuff Mitch! 🎣 👊🏼💯🇺🇸
Thanks for the tips my friend!
I see you just really lean into the hook set instead of Noah P going ham on frogging
Definitely was not expecting that! I need to try stuff like that. haha
