Yeah, I actually started watching One Piece because my friend is always telling me the world and why it is so good.
Yeah don’t give up on One Piece. Some arcs (and episodes) feel like filler, but they lead up to the good stuff.
one piece is a wonderful re-watch, there is a reason why people enjoy the reaction so much.

I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying One Piece!
One Piece is only long before you start watching/reading. Once you do you'll binge a good few hundred eps off the rips then start watching at least a few eps a day before starting to binge again. By then, you'll be all caught up waiting for more.
Aye if you guys get through a few arcs maybe and just put over quick videos talking about it, I’d tune in to see your thoughts!
So something that I could suggest doing is as you are watching and enjoying One Piece, possibly just take each arc and give your thoughts to the moments, this can come when both of you are at the points, so it would also give a view from someone who just finished the arc and from someone who would be further on that may link some things from the future arcs. But it also helps out with the copywrite issues that plague reaction channels.
But either way I'm glad you're enjoying the journey and I cannot wait for you both to see further into the series. Keep up the great videos.

I hope, as you said here and previous videos, that you will remember nothing haha I haven't commented before because I trust you and understood your point + the spoilers/hints were subtle anyway.
But please for your personnal sake (forget the stats) no moooorrrre xD. The spoilers are real in this one, really (combination of Scenes/context/images) with more context and how meticulously the story is written you will see things coming for sure. Unless you have good actor skills the reacting part will be poor.
The point for us viewer is to see how the reactor will feel what we felt at some precise moments. That's why it pains me to see that you already seen key things here that may ruin your experience.
Anyway this will be a beautyfull journey, enjoy it to the fullest.
With dad duties and work and other hobbies and even other shows i watch, i got time for 2 eps of one piece a week. So im slated for 104 eps in a year. Im at 84 now. And honestly its slow but i enjoy it. Prolly watch 85 on monday. But i think length is kindofa benefit of the show. Its meant to be long form. So going a lil over 2x the original upload speed is good enough for me

If your shonen protag use's tje architype 'goofy, likes to eat a lot and is pure hearted' they are are goku clone because that is where the architype basiacally came from.
