After doing a few bikes i quickly realized why other shops charged so much to do work on bikes, I'd rather do two cars than one bike. Detailing small delicate and complex shapes with to many tiggt spaces to count takes quite a long time and alot of patience and in alot of cases lots of hand polishing. Rotary polisher definitely help to go in to the fight spaces where a da wont fit due to design and rotation limits.
Lots of detailers feel this way :) bikes can be very time consuming for sure!
Need the correct tools to begin with.

Great topic. I was going to ask this question to you anyways. Have you ever dealt with detailer a that only detail motorcycles? I’m looking at the opportunity in central Ontario at present and I can’t find anyone that specializes in bikes. That tells me something…

There are quite a few motorcycle only Detailers. It requires patience, and very targeted marketing.

Polishing the windscreen. Can you/should you/did you polish the scratches on the windscreen? Same tools and products?
It won’t remove scratches.

Coating metal can be very high temperature resistant, like on exhaust ?
Provide protection from oxydation and keep inox away from color change ?
I would like a protection to keep my exhaust metal gray after polishing without blackening :/
The coating is very resistant to heat, but unfortunately will not prevent colour changing of the metal.
Just curious u chose the red pad with as many swirls as it had? Just wondering the thought process. Soft paint?

Why did they apply the ceramic in circles?
Circular motions give you better coverage, less chance of high spots, and uses less product.
Hi, how long till we can drive off after the 3 years ceramic coating? If it rain within 8 hrs is it ok?
One hour minimum, 8 hours is more than enough.

Should I use metal or ceramic coating for clear coated rims?
No, only on raw metal.
Coat paint then the chrome for a reason or doesn’t matter the order?
Chrome first with DIY Detail Metal Ceramic Coating, then 12 or more hours later paint ceramic over the whole surface
