I came to this video after your excellent beginner ones. I love these gift ideas. That bag idea is lovely
Glad it was helpful!
Lots of great ideas! Thank you 😊
Thank you! Great ideas. I just figured out my Bernina 570 QE embroidery unit so I am new to embroidery but i think i am addicted!
Welcome! It can be addicting. If you find yourself wandering the house looking for things to embroider, you're hooked!
I love the gift bag! I am going to try the toilet paper embroidery. I am at a loss for a gift for my father in law. The toilet paper is going to be it!
Great idea!! Have fun!
I like the bags that are reusable for Christmas. 🤶
Thanks for sharing your favorite! I love fabric bags for so many reasons.
Love the cat design. Gifted I do like the gift bag
Thank you! 😊
Loved some of those ideas! Thank you 🙏
Glad you liked them! (★‿★)
Your videos are both informative and fun! You are my new favorite, UA-cam channel!
Yay! Thank you!
I loved your plushie idea. I saw another idea for making embroidered toilet paper. She cut a white fusible fleece the size of the toilet paper roll, embroidered on the fleece; than wrapped the entire thing put a rubber band with a button to hold it on. I think this was a great idea because you can have it on display for a long time. (I’m not positive but I think I saw it on The Sewing Room Channel)
I couldn't find the video you referred to, but sewing on fusible fleece would be easier than toilet paper! Maybe that's a toilet paper wrap?
great ideas
Thank you Sue! 😊
Love this! I don't know why but I am terrified to embroider towels. 🤷♀️ I might just have to get over that. Your added towel with that cute little guy on it stood out so much and added so much more meaning to that basket. Love your channel and ideas. Thank you
Start with a terry cloth type of dish towel and a size 14 needle to build your confidence. "Bar towels" or "shop towels" are cheap for practice AND you can use them to wipe up messes so you use less paper towels. You'll see that towels are not hard. Be patient with wrangling all the extra heavy fabric of a bath towel and you'll do great! I will be making a towel video later this year. 😉
@@BallyhooCreations Good morning.. happy friday! Thank you so much.. I will start with that!
I love the gift bag idea! This is going to sound really dumb, but do you have a tutorial for it??? I don't sew much~~
I don't have any tutorials for the gift bags. I'll consider that as the holidays approach. I make mine very simply, just like a pillow case and I hem the opening. I like to box the corners at the bottom but that is optional. There are lots of vidoes for making pillow cases, and for boxing corners. I'm sure you can do it - it's a very easy sewing project.
