I had a 1986 Cutlass Ciera, same engine and features. Lasted 23 years and got it up to around 150k miles or so. It was so damn weak, accelerating was a joke. Good on gas, though. Steering wheel came loose one time and I broke a few belts. Power steering went out twice in that 23 years. Had to replace the engine mounts as that thing used to shake like crazy. One thing that I was so impressed with is how well it started in sub zero temps. I think I replaced the starter on it once, but I think for having that car for 23 years, it didn't really cost me all that much in non maintenance repairs.
