Changing Colors in Crochet at the End of a Row Tutorial

Let's take a look at how to change colors in crochet! We'll work the last stitch of your row to the last step (in both double crochet and single crochet) and then finish off your stitch with the new color to change colors. You can also use this method midrow for colorwork!
I'll also show you how to "capture" the yarn if you're going to carry it up and pick it back up at the end of the next row for two row stripes.

0:29: Double crochet, end of row
1:15: Carrying yarn up for single crochet
2:22: Picking up dropped yarn to change colors, single crochet, end of row
3:19: Carrying yarn up for double crochet, turning chain of 3
5:07: Carrying yarn up last double crochet to change colors again
5:48: Carrying yarn up for double crochet, chainless dc
7:24: Changing colors mid row for colorwork
