Fiber Hawai'i 2024 Gallery Walkthrough
Переглядів 3192 місяці тому
When I filmed this video, I was only planning on speeding it up to be a reel, but I had a few requests to see the full length regular walking speed version, so I did the best I could with it! I'm not sure I'll be so lucky to have the gallery nearly empty the next time I visit, so I thought I'd better work with what I have. (I also keep hoping someone who has professional equipment will do a vid...

Thank you so much!! That was incredibly helpful, enlightening and I’m happy to say, my trebles are 1,000% improved!!!
@@mandyhayungs5805 ah, that's so awesome!! Congratulations!
Thank you so much for this instructional video. You show the mechanics of the stitch along with the tips. This stitch requires practice, like you said! Much appreciated.
You are most welcome! I'm so very glad it was helpful for you.
Thank you 🙏
You are so very welcome!
Outstanding Art Center, simply outstanding...so many wonderful artists and inspirations. Art is alive and well in Downtown Honolulu.

Are you planning on doing a video for each section?
Yep! They'll be compiled into a workshop. :) More details coming soon I hope!!
Thank you! This was just what I needed. Also, thank you for explaining the S vs Z-twists. Brilliant!
Excellent! So glad it was helpful.
"Promo SM" ⭐
Thank you so much this was so much easier to follow
You are most welcome! 😊
Those bookends look amazing!
They're pretty neat!
That sure does look like loads of fun!
I think it will be!
It's going to be so much fun for you! I got my pots at the thrift store. It's the thrill of the hunt! 😊
I think that's what I'm going to need to do!
Oh, wow! I want one! 😂 I love each color so much 💚🧡🤎💛
Me, too!! I can't wait to crochet with them. It was so much fun!
Thank you! I’m going to try this. I’ve not seen any other videos with this explanation. Maybe I’ll be team TrC!
Ha ha good luck!! I hope you'll end up coming over like I did. Eventually. 😉
Oh wow, stunning. I love it. I love your tutorials. Thank you
You are most welcome!!
❤❤❤Holy Cow! Has THIS ever made a difference for me!! Thank you so much! I am trying to make a sunflower, using trebles, using 100% cotton, in the round! I am on team " hate treble stitches" because nothing I did made them look any good...until NOW! The only thing I have going for me is that I am left handed so I don't have the twist issue I didn't even know was a thing! You've have restored my joy for this project again! Thank you for sharing your skills!
You are most welcome!! I'm so very glad it was helpful and that you are enjoying your project again! That's what it's all about. 😊
This is so exciting because I know I can do it! I don't think I have enough of any one yarn, though, so I'll have to shop. Bummer 😅
Ha ha ha, I know, right!? Aw, shucks, I guess I "have to" go yarn shopping! 😆 Have fun!!
Awesome video! Super excited for defiant to come out this year
Thank you! It was a fun one. I'm just hoping I can find more time for reading soon!!
Lovely cowl!
Thank you! 😊
🩷🩷
I should probably pre-order the magazine. Besides you, there is a design by another maker that I follow.
Ooh, that's awesome!! How fun! I can't WAIT to see it. It's going to be such a treat (pun intended) to read through!
Who is the other designer, if I may ask? Or their design? I'd love to go check it out!
@@crochetcetera Rosina Northcutt from Zeens and Roger. I've been following her for several years.
@@trishbresolin8212 oh fun! I love all the colors. That top is cute, too!
Does this prevent the gap? I have a love/hate with that dc gap! 🙂
Yes!! This is just one of the ways to combat that pesky gap, ha ha. You can also try an elongated chain one or a chain 2 that does not count as your first stitch, stacked single crochets, and I've seen at least a couple other techniques, too.
@@crochetcetera great, thank you!
@@trishbresolin8212 of course! 😊
I think I'll buy the issue. I want the pattern. Does it use fingering weight yarn?
It's more like a sport or DK weight yarn but you could easily adapt the pattern for a variety of yarn weights!
I love the look of it on the side ❤
Me, too! It's my favorite way to start with, but I frequently end up moving it to just draped over my shoulders because I'm moving around too much!
Ooooh I love your new scarf! 😍 And those are really pretty ways to style. I guess I need to make myself a long scarf 🙂❤️
Thank you! And yes, for sure!! I love a long scarf!
I like your scarf
Thanks, Devika! Patterns are linked in the description. :)
❤️❤️
🥰
Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for ❤ great job!
Wonderful! I'm so glad it was helpful for you!
Oh I love this! I truly dislike that ugly ridge when doing the slip stitch from the front. Great video!
Wonderful! I'm so glad this is helpful for you!! 😊
Hi Connie! Great tutorial. It really looks so much nicer and it's east to do (my favorite part 🙂). ❤
Yay for adding new tricks to your toolbox! ❤️
It's a wonderful sharing 😊 ❤️
Thank you!
Thank you! I really need to become proficient in this. I'm seeing it more and more often.
It takes some practice! It took me SEVERAL tries before it finally made sense. I think the dc was the easiest one for me to figure out.
Good stuff. The world should be A place of love! I want to Be friends :o
Love the story, with the yarn.
Isn't it great!? This club was so much fun!
