    4:48 - just a long press on that "aA" button and you're already in/out of Reader Mode.

      @@beardfm It's a pity that Apple itself doesn't declare these hidden (edit: non-obvious) handy features anywhere. How many people don't know about them. By the way, it could have been shown how easy it is to open background tabs by tapping links with two fingers. For me, this is also a significant plus in favor of the Safari browser.
      Edit 2: And of the significant downsides is that websites saved to "Reading List" most often don't open offline. And that hasn't been fixed for years.

    I use reader mode for recipes I find online. It removes all the popups and ads. Sometimes it removes the measurements, but saving the page to files can be great for stripping out the ads as well, but keeps the measurements.

      try adding cooked.wiki/ before the http in the url. cool service that strips and simplifies recipe pages

    Oh wow, I just found out that you can stack multiple tabs by dragging them in the tab overview and then copy them to a different tab group or profile. It's important to note, that will only copy the URL from the tabs, not the state of the tabs. Furthermore, you cannot do this with empty tabs

    Hi Steve, excellent video. I mean this sincerely I'm a fairly new subscriber always been on Samsung Android but will definitely when 16 models are released by Apple will be getting the 16 pro Max. You are one of the most succinct and informative people that I have been subscribing to who are excellent with Apple products. You don't have any unnecessary fluff in my opinion at all. Just wanted you to know and I really appreciate these videos a great deal🎉

    Is there a way to setup safari to open personal tabs everytime but also have a second safari say shortcut on the homescreen to open a work tab?
    As I tried this but then the personal one opens back on the work tab after using it rather then opening the personal again, as I would like to keep work separate but remove the changing tabs for efficiency.

    • @beardfm

      Hm will look into the Shortcuts support for something like this!

    Is there a way to take a screenshot and have it copied to your clipboard straight away on the iPad? I'm finding it so slow as I need to copy images for work thanks

    • @dnvyl
      @dnvyl 2 місяці тому

      There are multiple ways to approach this. To do this, take one or more screenshots and either:
      - Click on the screenshot(s) > Click on Done > Copy and Delete
      - Click and hold the screenshot(s) shortly and then let go > Select Copy
      - Click and drag the screenshot(s) into the app you want to use them in

    How do you duplicate a tab?

    • @beardfm
      @beardfm  2 місяці тому

      I'm not sure you can duplicate tab. Best way to accomplish that would be to view all tabs, tap and hold on one, copy url, open in new tab.
