Awesome review. I just picked up the LC80 a few weeks back. Wish it had a body release like this! I'd like to see some other manufacturers or options for body style. A 4Runner from Toyota would be cool. The Hummer EV is, well, it's the Hummer EV.

Great vid bro! I'm not usually a Hummer fan, but that rig looks kinda cool. FMS keeps coming out with some cool rigs, but why, oh why, do they keep putting plastic gears in the diffs and trans? That's a guaranteed failure point, right out of the box!

If they do a Defender or Disco I'd be all over it, the 1/24s just aren't quite scale looking enough, especially with the D90/110's cartoon wheels 😂 I am very happy with my FMS Series 2 though!
Great vid! I'd love to see how it handles with a set of nice & heavy weighted rims to lower the center of gravity a bit & get the suspension to flex more really pulling the tires down to help get some better grip. Lookin' forward to the next vid. 🙂

@@DoURC Agreed! But the only way to fix those would be cutting up the bumpers or designing & 3D printing replacements; which I didn't know if you'd want to get into. Me - when I get mine, I'm printing up replacements strait away. I was also thinking of taking advantage of the way they have the interior mounted, & make an interior FPV camera mount too. Looks like a camera from an FMS ALU35 would fit in there beautifully.
@@DoURC Injora just released Toyota SR5 bodies for the TRX 4M platform. You could probably fab up a mount of some sort for it if the wheel base lines up.
I'm really curious about what they did with the motor sound being great now. That whine stood out in all comparisons imo as one of the very few negatives. I bet that was a planned improvement too.
@@DoURC I preordered the new FCX24M and with three days it was inoperable, i had not even taken it outside yet. It seems the transmission was completely gone as well as something with the transmitter. I spent about two or three hours with support. To their credit after I pushed them about it, they did offer to replace it for free. (They tried to send gears and other parts first, but I declined for getting a new one). But it has taken over three weeks to get another one. And I’ve seen on you tube people having the same issue.

This is very nice and scale but this body just doesn’t look right out trailing.You never really see the real ones out wheeling.They should have done a Toyota Tacoma or a modern ford ranger,raptor or the new Chevy mid size truck or full size modern truck. This is a very nice looking Hummer and they did a great job with the scale detail and I like they added interior with a driver but why they chose this body?
Yeah a different body would be nice. The LC80 is still my favourite. Fingers crossed we get some cooler bodies soon. 👍 They did a great job with the Hummer though tbf. 👍

Out of the three FCX18’s what’s your favourite? I like the idea of the shorter wheel base on the LC80 but this Hummer you might say is still decent?
Personally I like the LC80 the most. Out the box the Hummer performs the best though and with some different wheels it does look cool. 👍

I'm not sure what you mean. This FCX18 chassis is the same as the K10, the K10 and Hummer bodies will be interchangeable. 👍
