This was the most detailed and thorough explanation of how to do this! I thought I was the only one who couldn’t figure out how to wrap the back section of hair.
Good morning beautiful!! So excited for this video. I'm growing my hair back out so I can't curl my hair yet. I'm gonna save this video. Ty for showing us all your tips and tricks!!❤ I'm also the 1st comment!! Yay 😁
Absolutely gorgeous 😍 best tutorial that I have seen using this tool. Thanks for showing all the different angles😊 Now, I think I'll be able to give this a try on my hair. Love all your videos!!
Hi Julie! Fantastic video! Your tutorial for the robe curls is the best I have seen. Love that you showed all angles, front and back. I thought your demonstration was the most thorough and I am definitely going to try this now! Your hair looks so beautiful! Thank you for the wonderful tutorial. Have a beautiful and blessed day!❤🌞
Thank you so much for this! I purchased that same headband about a year ago and didn’t have any luck. Now, I’m going to follow your suggestions! Thanks!
You're welcome and I agree it does really give a natural curl look and I'm surprised because I curl all of the hair in the same direction but it just comes out so nice every time!
Hey Julie tysm for all the details and back shots during the process! Turned out amazing. If done right (like you did) I feel heatless curls hold curl the longest even above my irons/wands. I'll have to try the robe curls. When I'm in the mood for heatless I do pin curls which takes FOREVER cuz I have a ton of long hair lol You should try that Octocurl one, I've had mine for over a year and still cannot figure it out or get it right lol. You look beautiful as always girl!
Great tutorial! My mom was in high school during WW2 and she and her girlfriends would curl their hair this way using strips of old pillowcases. Funny how beauty rituals come back around 🩷
I never would guess you used this to curl your hair. I used this tool to curl my hair but it comes out with a few big waves at best. I’ll try using your technique next time. Thank you.
Hopefully using my tips and techniques will help! Maybe hair texture and type makes a little bit of a difference too 🤷🏼♀️ You'll have to report back and let me know how it works!
Hi Julie! Your tutorial and demonstration was very informative. Your hair is perfect for this curler…you’d be a perfect spokesperson. Is your hair all one length? I have coarse, wavy hair with long layers and a side part that I’m trying to grow out so I’m not sure if this would work on my hair. But your curls look gorgeous 🤍
You're welcome!! Thank you so much! It definitely took me a good week or 2 of using it every night to really lock down my technique and get it down pat.
Thank you for the video. There’s so many different ones. I’m a little bit confused on the process. I am not sure if I should wash it the night before or do you wash it it in the morning right before you wrap it?
Lasted three days..probably 4... but I wanted to wash my hair, i was shocked how long the curls lasted. I think maybe I might have wrapped sections too small so when i took the robe curler out.. it worked a little too well. Day 2 looked the best. The curls FINALLy fell and by day 3 i had beachy waves. day 4.. i still had a wave but I wanted to wash my hair. Anyways. love this roller! next time I will wrap larger sections so it isn't too curly.
I also requested and thank you for showing us. When you take the tool out do you hair spray to keep curls intact? Your makeup is beautiful. You look stunning.😊
You're welcome and yes I do use hairspray lightly on my hair. Even if I don't use hairspray it lasts. The hairspray just gives my hair a little more volume and texture. Thank you so much!

Your nails always look so beautiful! Do you do them yourself?
Thank you! I asked for this. That red dress is gorgeous on you by the way. You made this look so easy.

Strangely enough I found your channel through Mercari. Love it!

Does this tool work for layered hair? Has anyone used it with layers?
Sorry Julie, wrote just prior to end and now I see you did use hair spray .
No worries ☺️
