Time-lapse has become popular with the growth of digital cameras. This technique can be very time-consuming, so why do some people dedicate their career to shooting time-lapses? And can this technique help you to tell stories in filmmaking? Let’s see in this video!
In this video we talk with Morten Rustad, a professional time-lapse photographer which spent a year in South America to capture the incredible landscapes there. We talk about his fascination for time-lapse, 8K resolutions and motion controlled gear. See his South America time-lapse here: • SOUTH AMERICA 8K

Man I was born in the wrong era lol, being 61 in a couple months. If I was 30 this is exactly what I would be making a living at. Great video, this was from 3 years ago, my how the tech has improved/advanced in 2022. Thanks for the vid, cheers from Vancouver Canada.
Hello Sir from India!
Its so inspirational. When i first saw a time lapse sequences on the discovery channel it blew my mind. In todays youtube there are a lot of clowns, bloggers, who dont know even the basics, but trying to teach and be interesting in order to get views, such videos as yours is a gold on a garbage. Thanks a lot guys
Amazing timelapses!!!
Oh wow! This has inspired me to be more ambitious!
I only just started playing with timelapse. I suddenly feel deeply humbled...
I just come here often to watch the intro. It's beautifully done.

Wow, I think that's my country! The Tepuys in Venezuela, Roraima. That place is magical
My goodness this is satisfying to watch. I am really glad I found out about this channel. Love from PH! :)
Very cool video! Beautiful time-lapses. I appreciate the pacing of your videos, they're smooth and more relaxed especially with all of the orchestra score. I've been wanting to get a SYRP slider so bad...still using my iFootage Shark slider.
I'm glad to hear it gives a relaxed feeling. I believe we need more of that in this world. Or am I getting old? :)
I've always been a big fan of time lapse and motion lapse clips. They were one of the big reasons I bought an Osmo Pocket and Osmo Mobile 2. Great video guys!

well, kudos to that guy for having patience. Since all my photography is absolutely free I get bored very fast standing for half an hour next to the camera while capturing timelapses. So I make them only on a special occasions when I really see and feel one.

EPIC video
WOW! Thank you for this Video! It's top!!!
Very nice video!
Amazing
Awesome! I actually want to get the Syrp slider, but it a lot of money. But well worth it
This was a great demonstration of it
if you're not going full professional, you may get away with way cheaper options than Syrp.
@@LordArioh I do work professionally and I do shoot with professional cinema cameras like Arri, Red, C200, etc. It's a simple slider, a bit expensive for what it is.
Considered the Dana Dolly but I also use small DSLR like cameras for small projects too, and thats an overkill slider. Send like this the Syrp may be the best option. But that Pan/Tilt head seems like it may not hold those larger cinema cameras
@@michaelfrymus point taken', you need professional stuff then) I'm gonna stick to my under 100 buck slider from China)
What a quality.. thanks a lot for the informative video
Morten is my favourite.
First time here, sub'd before it was finished. My D850 has 4K in-camera and 8K if processed in post (or so I've read). Time to explore this. Thanks for sharing!
Dope Video. Thank you for the inspiration :)
awesome you guys
love thw work that you put out
Man, that was a such beautiful video
