Microscopic anatomy of the liver

- The liver arranges its hepatocytes in rows or plates and flows blood from the hepatic artery and hepatic portal vein past them and into central veins. Tiny bile canaliculi take bile from hepatocytes and channels it in the opposite direction towards the bile ducts. To see how all this is laid out at a cellular level we need to look through the microscope, where we will be able to see heptic lobules, portal lobules and hepatic acini with just a little imagination.

I always wanted to ask someone brilliant in the human body like you , that I've read else where that "the liver does 500 hundred jobs " is that true ? and you answered in this video !!
Absolutely fascinating! What a great way to learn about anatomy! Also, I remember always wondering while cooking sliced beef liver what all these holes were about :)
Always excited to see my body at the tissue/semicelluar level like this. Next hope see it at the full cellular and molecular level. Then ... some time in the future at the atomic/subatomic level in order to really understand it✌️
Fantastic …this video will help more medial students ,in particular Pathology students .
Fantastic, really helped me. Could add a scale.
Thank you so much sir❤
