I actually think calling a murderer "a person who has experienced ending another person's life" is probably better. We've heard and read the word 'murderer' so many times that it gets past us what that actually means. It points out that another human being was affected for the worse.

As for the Scientific Method... Okay, see, if this was 2004 and we were discussing Scientism vs. more holistic and integrated ways of viewing the world, then I would say yes. We should discuss the limits of science in a climate where people think Richard Dawkins is an intellectual. But this is 2024 and what they MEAN is that science is colonialism and you can't say that the Scientific Method is better at doing science than non-scientific methods. This is not the world I wanted as a college activist 20 years ago.
