Rare Fish Found LIVING in GREEN SLIME POND!

- In today's video, my friend @RobsAquatics surprises me with a TON of rare fish! We had to net them out of this dirty pond to find out what they were, and I ended up finding blue crawfish, gold severums, pink kissing gourami, plecos, goldfish, AND MORE! I then moved these fish into various ponds around my house to keep as my new pets!

I get so excited watching these that my daughter and I yell the fish name at the phone screen every time you say "what fish is this?". I was looking after a giant gourami in a petshop that was almost 2ft big. He liked pats. Also the "deformed" goldfish isn't deformed. It's either a lionhead or a ranchu goldfish. The have short tails and no dorsal fin. Awesome treasure hunt!
So far one of my favorite videos. Would really enjoy another scavenger hunt type video like this again.

I currently breed them… I have Orinoco angels breeding atm and I’m working on some red devil koi angels now…

Just in case you don’t know, those plants are water hyacinths. They multiply like crazy and they do bloom!
with that oranda if rob didnt tell you already, you're gonna need to maintain it's growth/wen, theyre one of my favorite goldfish breeds
The ones with the red on top of the head are lion head goldfish. Rather expensive at most pet stores. And Rob gave you 2 of them. Put them in a separate tank and let them breed.

Be careful with the giant gourami because I have one and it’s super super aggressive and killed a bunch of my fish but is super personable and will follow you around the tank. Cool video!
It shares a pond with some cichlids which are known to be aggressive as well so they won't give in easily. also overcrowding the tank/pond is one of the ways to keep aggressive fish in check.
Exactly. They are like Betta, they just eat everything that moves. The only difference between them and Betta is that they are f*king fast.

Time to build a 3' wide x 6' long x 2-3' high plywood and glass tank.
Pretty sure those feeder fish are finger mullet. That tub would be a great betta/gourami breeding vessel, I just recently found out that gouramis are bubble nesters too.. though it's probably too deep for that, they only want about a foot deep max. Keep that angel fish away from anything with nice fins, without a large school they get very nippy worse than cichlids.

Call the Severum DORO,get some black moor and Shubunkin, surround the black tub with decorative cement block and do a semi aggressive venue with barbs, gourami, Australian rainbows, and anything else you like,
This is the stuff I love. Not the same fish like everytime but real rare fish.

You should add tons of small schooling fish to the new pond like danios, tetras, colorful guppies/platies/mollies etc.
You should put your puffers in the new tub! Lots of hiding places and snails for food.
You should bury that pond like the others you can bury. Would look so pretty.
The giant Gourami is a lovely fish as was the $100 fish.
I suspect that cross brace was there for a reason. The tank is probably going to bow outward now.
I think you should maybe put some colourful guppy’s in the tank you could breed them also you should name the $100 fish dollar and the goldfish nemo and dory or pair names like that
Make that an axolotl pond, brother.

Dark, big, with floating plants, a lot of food if you throw gambusias and little crawfish in.
You should definitely do it.
Buy 6 or 8 axolotls for that pond, max 10 i’d say.
You could use it as a filter , leave the plants in it and feed the water to another pond .

You should do a medaka ricefish pond. They don't need mechanical filters, just lots of plants :)
The goldfish that you think is deformed may be a variety of Lionhead. And that is a pink giant gourami.
