Well your horse is a character, your mother is an even BIGGER character. LOVED those two together. And the dramatic music as she was canter the last time put hairs on my neck🤣🤣🤣. Just kidding. She looked lovely at the canter. How fun and of course I would love to hang with you your an amazing trainer and horse person. Can't wait to see you ride her horses.
Honestly, when I saw the thumbnail I sighed and thought "here we go" having never watched any of your videos before and expected it to be about someone inexperienced getting on a horse and pulling on it's mouth and frustrating it to the point it would misbehave. I'm pleasantly surprised and glad to see that's not the case, your boy seems like such a happy plucky boy with plenty of attitude to spare, and I LOVE your tack, the bareback pad and the hackamore are such a wonderful and horse friendly choice! Thankyou for showing even a spirited horse can be ridden without a bit!
Ahhh thank you!!! I understand the first impression. Ofcourse I picked 2 moments that would attract attention :D But thank you for the kind words!!! And welcome ❤️🙏🏻
You're mom is so sweet makes me miss my mom she passed in 2008 and she was my best friend. She looked real good up there and did a great job even though he was doing what he wanted to do once in awhile she did great, they were both very cute. Love your videos always anticipating the next. Thank you honey love your mom they are gone before you know it. God bless
I am so so sorry Terry. I hope this video gave you a warm feeling and made you smile. My mom is my best friend too... I cannot imagine what I would do without her. She is my biggest support and always so proud together with dad. Thank you for your kind Words. I send you a super warm hug, and I wish you all the best. ❤️
She was! She has seen him buck me off to many times and knew what a powerhouse he is. I am so proud she just got on! Shilas is 19 now so he is a liiiiittle more chilled but still... Shilas 🤣
Eva,although your mom seemed unsure, after a little while, the smile on her face ment a lot.I would like to know if your mom has ever been on a carriage ride with Flip?🤗💖
I agree. She has seen Shilas be so difficult and almost dangerous that she was a little scared to jump on, I was confident he would be OK but as you could see he immediately takes advantage of her insecurity! A good teacher, but a difficult horse if your goal is to “just ride”. He’s not a bike you can step on! ✊🏼
Your Mini is adorable!!! I am in love with Shilas!!!!!!!!!! Your Dressage training is great!!!! It's fantastic to see a "thicker" horse doing dressage. The fact he offered the pedestal was great. I always reward things that are spontaneous and make my horses happy. Great job.
I agree!!! I have had so much bad comments when I would arrive for a show during a dressage competiton. Once there was a man, holding his perfect skinny pony, telling his daughter: “can”t believe they are unloading an elephant”. Shilas was at his most fit there weighing in at almost 600 kg whilst being able to slightly see ribs through his muscles. And so, this man came to watch the show Jesse and I did. arms crossed with that stupid smirk. Shilas, like he know, THREW OUT SOME MOOOOVES girl. It was epic. Still have photos. The man slowly walked off. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Never ever discriminate a thiccccc horse! 💪🏼😎
Such an hilarious video! Your sense of humor definitely is a family thing 🤣. Thumbs up for your brave mom, she did awesome. And o my... That face of Shilas 🙈. Speaks louder than words... He almost rolls with his eyes 😂
He is such a beautiful boy. I could literally watch you playing with him all day, it’s such a joy to watch. It’s clear to see how happy he is. I would love to learn to do this and have this bond with a pony. And I love your mum, she made me laugh 😆 she’s such a good rider too. 💕💕
I cant believe the way Flip backed out of the stall with Shilas mirroring him!! Little pint sized super star! And then when Eva captured the shot of Flip pressed up against the fence ad if to say quit giving Shilas all the attention and let me in!
I liked the video alot. I learn from it when u see how Shilas responds to another rider. Shilas bolting after his session was wonderful. I thought it was incredibly precious that Shilas kept getting up on the pedestals! Eva please keep the text up on the screen a little longer. I liked the challenge and enjoyed the video alot.
Especially when she is talking next to Sammy and your energy and bodylanguage are also very alike while talking☺️ I also love the dynamic between the two of you so hope to see her more frequently in your video’s. But only if She likes it to ofcourse❤️
This was such a wonderful video. Not only because i just adore Shilas, especially if you work with him but also because I myself have always been a bit scared of falling off after an accident and therefore been kinda scared of riding some horses and seeing you mum do so well and (at least it seemed like she did) enjoy herself is just so uplifting. Thank you for sharing "this challenge" and I would totally love to see more videos of you trying new things with your mom with the other horses.
Thank you so much. She was a little scared! And i understand you are too. Some accidents just leave such a dent in your self-esteem but I hope you will find sweet horses that will carry you safely. 🥰
@@AlwaysHorseLove can gladly say that I found a horse (sadly don't own him but he builds up my confidence) who is the sweetest creature but also has lots of energy on most days (which i do enjoy) :)
Your mother is a jewel that should be treasured! She shines just as bright as you do. I would love to see more videos with momma, she brought a smile to my face all video, just as you do. I would love to see her more on your channel. Have a wonderful day/night lovely! 💜
It is not distracting the way Shilas shows his happiness, especially for those of us who have spent time around horses :), I ride hunters and jumpers, usually, a few minutes of trotting usually takes care of that situation, and any children at the barn usually get the giggles. He is quite the character and clearly adores you. What breed is he? Awww, mom, he did not stand straight up, it's fine :) he is just being so silly with her because she is a bit nervous and knows it hehe. More work together - Mom and Shilas would be wonderful! I think she did well even though she was nervous and he was actually a good boy, I have seen ponies and horses be absolute terrors if they know a rider is nervous or just because they can (their temperament and personality).
2:53 oh my god betch that blue jacket with your blue eyes and red hair is just 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 you and your mom look so pretty! also she's absolutely hilarious.
I thought your mom did an excellent job with Silas. You can tell she is an experienced rider and super animal person. The treats and the scratches she gave probably helped lighten his mood:) He definitely was a handful. Are there any other horses you have she could try to ride? Great video, the music was very fitting. Thank you for sharing. Your white dog with the eye patch is really cool looking.
I love how similar you and your mom are, I bet you guys laugh a lot when you're together. So much clownery between you ladies and Shilas 😂 She did a great job!
Such a joy watching your Mom ride, she was great!! Would love to see her work with you in more of your videos will all your horse!! Wish I could be there to watch and learn how you do your training but live in USA and ask if you could do more videos in English if possible? Wonderful trainer, rider and horse person!
Eva, my fav person is the whole world was my Aunt Eva. What your mom said as he galloped off into the sunset summed up a wonderful playful time with your little dancing dressage horse, "He's one Happy Fella." Yes, he is and that is because you and your mom show so much affection and love that he feels. Your happy little stallion feels included in your family and aims to please you both by showing off his skills and dancing talent. But then he exercises his masculine prerogative of buckaroo independence as he races away with a mind of his own. Many blessings to your stables!
Shilas is a dog. A squishy, hubby puppydog. Thats no horse! i want to have a horsepuppy as well. You have what every little kid dreams of having with a horse. Love you two! ❤️❤️❤️
If my mom tried my horse my horse would not be happy!!! When he was backing out of the stall and the mini one came out I was like “ he looked a lot bigger in the take room 😂”
He is!!! He is a lot of fun! Also a hand full! He knows exactly how he would like to be guided through a session and if you aren’t sure how to, he... well... Lets you know! 🤣
You done amazing with your horse and can see how happy and a lovely bond you have as just wants to please you and has fun with it...Unlike some videos ive seen, where they tie them up and hit legs with crop and such tight reins its so cruel. You have nothing on this horse and goes just by gentle voice and hand movements. Was a pleasure to watch you and ur horse but as for the cruelty ones been on here they need to be banned not encouraged and they should watch ur video and learn how to respect a horse, as there horses are clearly not happy any fool can see that. They aint gotta clue what there doing and horse scared stiff and hates them, dread to think if like that on video what do to poor horse off video. So nice to see this one and was very impressed at the end 😉
The amount of things you see on the internet can literally make you burst into tears... IT IS AWFUL! The horses have absolutely NO idea what is wrong and the people only do it for their own ego’s..... I am just so happy to be on the side of the “good” UA-cam video’s and be able to share happiness and good vibes with horses!!!

I enjoy your love for the horses and the way you care for your horses.

hands down the best video i have watched in awhile!! i was smiling all the way through and found my self laughing- your mom is the best!::) love your horse what a fun sweetie:)
AwwWuH! You two are fun together because you are good friends too, in addition to being mother and daughter! I loved how 'Seelas' (Sp?) reminds me of a professor who uses his intelligence-response as a way to 'inform'.. and I do sense his presence in a more direct way. Some horses are 'there' but you don't feel them as directly- his personality is pronounced. I like that sense of being engaged with his being. I haven't seen all of the horses at this level of detail (yet.) But looking forward to seeing more of your crew! ~Peace
This was really fun, really enjoyed it, lovely to see the enjoyment you all got from each other. You can see how much he loves you and his work. Really brilliant, thanks for sharing looking forward to seeing you ride your mums and she s lovely and a very good sport too.
First I teached him to do the jambette. Then spanish walk. Then spanish trot. Then I started rewarding not for the full extend of the spanish trot, but only the moment when Shilas pulled his knees up high before the “lashing out”- this transfered into some sort of a wanabee passage. I did teach him to curl his neck up when I said “mooi” or “schaam je” (means shame on you), you can see that in the video where I train Shilas without hands! I combined those two together and slowly he started to do a proper passage, sometimes very wild but it was there. I also worked on it whilst riding and through that I could help him with his self-carriage a bit more!
AlwaysHorseLove Can you do a video/videos teaching us how to teach our horses?/how to go about it? I really wanna teach my horse it (I have a fjordhorse), but I don’t know how to teach him it :/
So this is the first video of yours that iv ever seen and he captured my heart so much with his looks and then his antics with the pedestals had me in fits of giggles. Then there was you and your mum, both hilarious! Will definitely stick around and try to catch up with you all :)
Yay Mommy 💕💕. Omg you too are hilarious.. Momma, sHUT Up ! Lovely Pelvis thrust glad you made fun during it. I always laugh to 🙈. Beautiful relationship between you both. Shilas is so cute, love the tricks ❤️❤️

You're an excellent trainer, very inspiring for me to do more training with my own horses. (I've been a little bit sick, I have cancer, so have had to do less with them lately.)
First off all: welcome!!! And second, I wish you all the health and good things to come... I am very sorry to hear this. I am happy you enjoyed this video and I hope you will enjoy the new one’s too ❤️

I love how he's like " if I go op. Which I'm going to do hooman. I will never go down" He was just so proud of himself😅❤️ I love how you was just like "We are not done here yet woman" when she got down first town😅
Yes whahahaha
This is comody gold 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
hands down the best video i have watched in awhile!! i was smiling all the way through and found my self laughing- your mom is the best!::) love your horse what a fun sweetie:)
The Pony in the background 😂
~Peace
I completely agree with your description! Such a good one too!
my horse is the same way lol... she's a saint (mostly) with me, but with everyone else she's a devil haha
This was really fun, really enjoyed it, lovely to see the enjoyment you all got from each other. You can see how much he loves you and his work. Really brilliant, thanks for sharing looking forward to seeing you ride your mums and she s lovely and a very good sport too.
Thank you Mel 💘
Ahhhhhhh. Your mom is so beautiful ‼️‼️‼️‼️
I can see where your dimples and beauty comes from.

Your mum is so much like mine its freaky! Lovely to see how adorable you and your mum's relationship is
Then you must have a sweet mom 💘💘
@@AlwaysHorseLove Definitely do!
love your work in passage!
He loves doing it too!
@@AlwaysHorseLove😊 because it is intelligent and feels good. Lovely to see.
Hahaha geweldig om naar te kijken dit! 😂❤ zoveel karakter heeft Shilas, echt prachtig!!
He is gorgeous! How do you get him to “dance”/carry himself like that? :)
I really wanna teach my horse it (I have a fjordhorse), but I don’t know how to teach him it :/
I love your mum....she is a very good rider......and you clearly have a great bond xo
10:13 absolutely killed me😂😂😭❤
It is such an obsession for him 🤣
@@AlwaysHorseLove He has so much character😂❤
So this is the first video of yours that iv ever seen and he captured my heart so much with his looks and then his antics with the pedestals had me in fits of giggles. Then there was you and your mum, both hilarious! Will definitely stick around and try to catch up with you all :)

Great channel, lots of fun. Good camera work. Your Mom is hilarious and equally beautiful.
"Get away from me, he knows things."
Ava your and your mother have similar personality. I enjoyed watching you play together in happiness with your horse.
Is he a halflinger or something cause he looks like a way bigger version of my pony
I think he's a haflinger. But I didn't saw the whole video and just had a look at the thumbnail😅
I'm a new sub, I just found your channel. Thoroughly enjoyed watching both you & your mom & your beautiful horses. Shilas was so proud of himself, & he did everything wonderfully.
