Who in the world told me that the curator of P & M isn´t a lucky lady ?! Excellent promo at the beginning, first I thought it was an infomercial about tea again 😂. Big Nintendo score in the basement, well deserved because it´s not always a pleasure doing cleanouts in summer. More great finds will come, that´s for sure ! 👍 We need your NJ rain over here ! Greets from GER, U.
Hello Renee. Sweet Nintendo. I’d be playing it lol. Love the vintage game’s. Can’t wait to see if you found the holy grail as they say . Lol . I love these videos it shows just how hard it is and having fun with friends is a plus. Take care. 🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🫖☕️🫖☕️🥰🥰💯💯💯💯💯
First of all send us some of that rain in Alabama. Omg! That Nintendo Game. What an awesome find. My dad actually turned me on to Nintendo. He was such a cool guy lol. He was in his fifties then and got the first computer that was for home also. Absolutely fun times! RIP Dad💙 I love that Carhart coat, it looked like there may have been a few things worth having. ☺
Yes, please do a video on the games! I collect and resell them so always interested to see what new finds there are. That would make my year finding those.
I have a small collection of 40s, 50s, and 60s novelty salt/pepper sets which includes on of the little toasters you found on the shelf. I also have a washer/dryer, bowling ball/pins, piano, TV, hat rack with two hats (s/p) and a few others. They're fun to find.
My dads mom had hundreds of these. She had a huge glass cabinet she had them in,I loved just standing in front of it looking at them all, this was the early 60’s.
@@sharonmckinnon8160 , sorry for the late response. I know they used to be a pretty common collectable in general. That's why I went for a smaller sub-category. I imagine they are like a lot of things...not worth anything to some and a lot to others. Unfortunately, I think the market might be a little soft now, but don't quote me because I haven't bought any in years. 🧂 ☺🧂
I find it fascinating to see what people don't want and are happy for someone else to come in and clear up for them. I've had 21 moves in my 61 yrs and have always left an empty, clean house behind. Lots of donations over that time too. ❤🐨
I think many are also happy/relived that they do not have to do the cleaning and move everything out. They've gone through and picked what they want to keep and can breathe easier knowing they don't have to try to get rid of everything else!
Yay!!! Oh yes please show us what games are in the boxes I would love to see. We still have Christopher's Nintendo and we'll buy a new game for it every once in awhile. Funny I just picked up an old box tv from the early 2000s that still had a slightly rounded glass face so we could play Duck Hunt. Did you know you can't use the Nintendo gun with a flat screen? Neither did I, but I found an old TV and hooked it up and it has been a lot of fun and super nestolgic 😄
As a crafter the pine cones interested me; I also look for small wood pieces I can use in making decor or organizational items (small squares, dowels, 1"x2"/strapping/furring strips, picture frame sized pieces of lauan or plywood, etc.). It may seem like thankless, grimy work, but it needs to be done. It's an important service for people as they age and are no longer able or desire to clean out a lifetime of collections, business or hobby materials, etc. In fact, as I look around I realize I better get crackin' or I'll be looking for someone empty out my closets! lol! :)))
The nitty gritty side of resale city. I had a Nintendo 64 something like that. Sold at a yardsale likely 15 years ago for $20 with about 10 games, no boxes. I had bought as a package deal from a pawn shop a few years before, perhaps had $50 or $60 in it. Discovered I don't like playing video games 😁. Worth more than that today I'm guessing. I like that radial arm saw in his workshop. Be expensive new, and hard to move second-hand. Hope to see more great finds 👍👍
Games seem to bring in more money than the actual system, unless of course the system is still in the box, never used. It's always a learning experience when it comes to games & which ones bring in more money/are "rarer".
I love these cleanouts. Great find on the Nintendo games. They have really come back lately. I have to say I love your hair! It is sooo darn cute. Playing catch up again.
Lol when I saw the title, “retro game score”, my old self thought of board games. Is that little toaster for toasting mini-bagels? You might get a couple bucks at the flea market for those pine cones. People buy them for crafts and to make door wreaths and dining table centerpieces. Can’t wait to see what else you find! 🙂
Renee PLEASE tell me we didnt see that part of you go through those folders before throwing them out. I was gasping when you were taking them by the handful into the trash bag 😲 I hope even if pressed for time you are able to make sure nothing good is being tossed. Old brochures etc could have been in those folders if unchecked. I know from a clean out I did years ago.
Like you, I do it every morning...enjoy a nice mug of the working man's tea...Lipton! I'll take a nice dark basement any day over attending one of those brilliant "nose-in-the-air" showoff cultural events. Now, I'm showing my age...what a Nintendo?? Looks to me like a video game...like Pac Man? A dumpster...hope no old radios; Victrolas; 78 records; Lionel Trains; or, heaven forbid fr-g figurines will end up in there...LOL!! Nice basement area...certainly not dark...great shop area. Ah...another weekend is creeping up on us...will there be that "perfect" sale coming up...tune in tomorrow for future announcements!
@@PaperandMoose There is one in Novato... distance away...It looks like an Ikea Store, not a vintage item in sight!! Good luck in finding salable stuff...your game(s) look like good prospects. The records I prefer are "city"...LOL (another sick joke).
Renee what an amazing find with regards to the Nintendo Games & system. A follow up video regarding what games were actually in the box & if the system worked would be greatly appreciated. Enjoyed the tagging along on a clean up. Lots of work . Keep it up.
Loved this please do a video on the games. I know nothing about these things. You look so cute. I love your hair now you do so many cute things with it. Love ya be safe! ❤️😘💞💞💞🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🌞🌞💐🌻🌲🌳✌️👶
I don’t think I could ever do house clean outs, for one thing it’s probably because of a sad thing that you’re doing it but mostly it’s like constantly cleaning the house it never is finished. You go on one to the other and it’s never done cleaning. L O L
Cool finds in the clean out great find own the Nintendo game and games I can't wait to see what is next thanks for sharing the video hope you have a blessed day
Hi Renee. What great fines from the clean out Renee. All the tools and other stuff, you can sell them. I hope to see what games you have in the box Renee. God Bless you Renee. Have a great day. Mari'a. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍🎮🕹️👾👾👾🕹️🕹️🕹️🎮🎮🎮😘😘😘😘😘😘
I just enjoy watching you, digging away for that special find. Would you please explain to me about Clean out? Do you complete empty “everything “ out? Can you keep what you find? Do you bid on the clean out? Your doing what I wished I could do, did some when I was much younger, “ next week 77 years young”. But it wasn’t anything like your adventures. Again, your a special young lady. P.S. I do cringe at times, when you throw away.😀
Happy Early Birthday! Each situation/home is different. Most of our cleanouts come from connections, so there isn't any bidding. Sometimes we are paid for the cleanout, in which we remove everything from the home (take things to flea market to resell, online reselling, and throw things away). Other times we pay to do the cleanout, this mostly occurs when there is considerable value to the items. Then there are times when we also just pick and pay for what we take.
I am a younger lover of all things old. I've reached capacity and started wanting to sell just to enjoy being able to pick without becoming a hoarder ha. Do you make a living doing this at this large scale? This is my dream job.
I sell "As Is". I've sold games in the past and usually just test them out and provide video/photos of the game being played. Any rare games, which I actually ended up having one in this lot, I leave the cleaning up to the buyer and state so in the listing.
Their is good money in tools name brands like snap on .Mac,Matco Craftmans, Also power tools are good sellers. Your Taco stacks should be able to guide you. To me you can learn a lot from different podcast. Prime Time Treasure hunters has a major one. Also do you sell on What Not
I love watching clean outs , that's when you will know how the former residents of that home lived. Keep pushing forward Renea 💪
Yes I enjoyed..!! Love looking over your shoulder, seeing all the work that goes into the clean out...🥰🥰
