Creed probably already knew that Michael is leaving that day not the day after, because when he is saying that line,he's holding Michael's best boss mug
Honestly one of my favorite Michael moments is during Pam's art show. Hardly anyone complimented Pam's art, but then Michael stopped by near the end of the show and was so impressed by Pam's art that he wanted to buy it. I'm pretty sure I almost cried during that part, and it's definitely the most memorable moment for me. As much as I love Jim, Michael really was a fucking great character and imo the show didn't really feel the same without him.
I love that part because he’s not saying he loves it just cause the camera’s there like he does with other things. It’s his genuine reaction and it’s exactly what Pam needed at that moment :,)
Creed: I want to set you up with my daughter. Jim: Oh, I’m engaged to Pam. Creed: I thought you were gay? Jim: Then why would you want to set me up with your daughter? Creed: I don’t know...
Poor Andy. His character was utterly slaughtered in season 9, with all his relationships ending, character development being reversed, and likeability being erased.
I never liked Andy, unfortunately. Ed Helms and the writers tried admirably but the character's corny ways just never measured up to Michael or Dwight. Sometimes a character works and sometimes is doesnt. Season 8 was centered around him and I totally hated that season
Maybe he wasn't in enough episodes to make top 25, but MOSE stole EVERY scene he was in. Mose as the valet for Toby's car in the finale and driving it straight into the cornfield may have been the single funniest quick scene in the entire series.

I know it's kinda depressing that I know this off the top of my head, but actually (oh no i sound like Oscar i'm sorry) Kevin's girlfriend from valentine's day was named Lynn, and Asian Jim was named Steve.
Same. I did think she was a unique character before though. She was a no nonsense businesswoman who had feelings for somebody terrible for her. I thought it was a much more genuine character in the beginning
Imo Erin is the worst character to come in the office. I havnt finished the office due to Erin and the tall skinny guy. But I have rewatched the first 5 seasons many many times
She kind of grew on me a bit by the end... But she was terrible and annoying at first. Definitely not a top character for me, at all, but she did grow on me for sure.
Roy never actually did anything truly cynical that deserves him a low ranking. Yes, he did freak out at the bar but that is not necessarily an abnormal response to finding out that your fiancé kissed another guy a month before your wedding. Yes, it’s an overreaction and he could’ve handled it better, but it doesn’t mean that he deserves to be placed so low. For most of his relationship with Pam he was completely ignorant of Jim’s attempts to make a move on Pam
@@SeanChandlerTalksAbout My favorite has to be Threat Level Midnight. Such a different episode and for someone who loves movies, it reminded of the Room. Hands down my favorite.
Stress Relief and also the one where they had to talk about stress in the office and Michael takes them down to the warehouse and then he’s on the roof.
I think Kelly is underrated. She speaks her mind most of the time, stands up for herself and others, she is usually a teamplayer, she is not afraid to stand up against absurdities and she can be dangerous when she plots against others. Yes, she is self-centered, annoying and naïve and that's what makes her so wholesome and interesting.
@@showtime1235 she is very dumb and easily manipulated by Gabe and Plop, its also very weird that Plop a reasonably smart but forgettable guy (actually very lame both in the show and real life) unlike Toby. I'm quite sure he just loves her due to attractiveness but not her stupidity, dumb, naive personality or gets sick of her in the long run (even his 'kindness' has limits and would reevaluate due to her very being stupid and exact opposite of her) She is an adult like Andy but acts like a child while Plop was also an adult but acted like someone at Michael (which Mike and Andy don't act like) age.
Here are my top five favorite characters from The Office and why I love them so much: 1. Dwight Kurt Schrute- Dwight is a stand out character for sure. He's done some very over-the-top but still hilarious things in the show and overall has a very weirdly charming presence to add onto The Office. He is a very unique character and I think his character has changed quite a bit throughout the series, but in a very good way. He was always selfish and sometimes conceited, but I think towards the end of the series, we got to see a more vulnerable side to him that I really adored. Dwight Schrute did have a kind heart, even if he didn't always show that properly. I think his relationship with Angela also added onto a lot of his character and in a good way. The way he reacted to finding out he was a father was so touching and cute. Overall, Dwight was just a phenomenal character and VERY IMPORTANTLY, he was played brilliantly by Rainn Wilson. If anyone else were to play him, I think I would like Dwight much less. 2. Michael Gary Scott- Oh, where do I begin? He was so awkward and cringe worthy, but I don't think that was even a bad thing. He was hilarious and clueless and very self-centered at times, but he had such an adorable soft side to him. He had good intentions and a kind heart and always wanted to make sure he put smiles on faces. In the end, he gave some of the most heartwarming and hilarious moments of the series and for that, I adore his character. Steve Carell was perfect for this role and I couldn't imagine anyone else playing him. 3. James Duncan Halpert- I think for the most part, he is likely one of the most normal and relatable characters. He's a hilarious prankster who has a very kind heart. The relationship he has with Pam is pure and adorable and the way he always goes out of his way to make her happy proves how good of a man he is. He apologizes when he knows he's in the wrong and is willing to admit when he is in the wrong. He made a great husband, a great father, a great prankster, a great friend, and an overall great character in the series. John Krasinski was made for the role of Jim Halpert. 4. Pamela Morgan Halpert- Like Jim, she is, in my opinion, one of the most normal and relatable characters on the show. She has some very memorable moments. She is in some of the most heartwarming and tender moments on the show. I like how throughout the series, she came out of her shell a bit and also became more assertive. She's just a great character. She is talented and kind and funny and amazing. Jenna Fischer was impeccable as Pam Halpert. 5. Andrew Baines Bernard- I have to admit that I enjoyed him much more before seasons eight and nine, but I didn't necessarily hate him in seasons eight and nine either. I just think he got a bit meaner, which made me mad. When he was first introduced, he was a bit of a kiss-ass (and he kept that part of him throughout the series, I think) and at first, it took a while for him to grow on me because of how much of a kiss-ass he was, but as the show started to progress, I began to realize how friendly and just downright adorable and sweet he was. He had a lot of funny and awkward moments and even got some time to let his musical talent shine as well, which I thought was incredible. I really liked Andy in the finale though. The rit-dit-dit-dit-do moment was ADORABLE and when he said the famous line, "I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days before you've actually left them," I felt the true emotion behind that. In the end, I think that as much as his character changed and not exactly for the better, I still have a soft spot for Andy and all of his quirks and talents. Ed Helms was perfect as Andy Bernard!
Brandos Ghost I agree with your top 5 but I swapped Andy with Darryl for mine solely because I had to take his ruined character in season 9 into account but when he was good I loved him, he was so funny and great. Dwight is obviously the funniest character in the series but I put him at 3rd in my list because there was definitely some character fluctuation (fault of the writers, not Rainn) but his ending was satisfying to me.
Roy was a bad person, but a good character, well acted and had better plot lines. Erin started well and quickly became a stereotypical dumb girl with an entire character built on love triangles and lazy jokes
55: Frank (The Warehouse guy) 54: Cathy Simms 53: Donna (The Bar Manager) 52: Josh Porter (Manager of Stamford) 51: A.J. Jan was a pretty interesting and realistic character in the first seasons. Her story arc is deep and actual for today. Middle age woman, that seems super confidental and succesful, in reality suffers from a strong depression, loneliness, struggles with self-identity. Tried to run from the problems with alcohol, pills(?), slept with a teenager, fell in for the dude she considers an idiot, which makes her even more depressed and less confident. And all the problems logically backfired and resulted in her being fired. That's really great story and seems like smth for movie drama, not for the TV comedy show. Post 3 season she became a waste though
@@Flemingmullholland well, that a show with a lot of characthers, each for different purposes. If this show had only Michaels and Dwigths that would be boring and people would hate this characters. Most of the humour in the office is build on normal, realistic charaters cringe and change (go crazy in case of Jan) from interacting with goofy characters
It’s not only to laugh, at the end they’re 9 seasons where you end up connecting with the caracteres, and in my opinion if a character is hateful and crazy doesn’t mean it’s a bad character, every storyline needs a hateful character like Jan
The series would have had a good wrap if Holly and Michael showed up with a young kid and the kid pointed at Michael’s face print in the concrete and said “ What’s that” and Michael would tell him.
@@martinlutherkingjr.2993 uh yeah, he didn't say anything about a good show. He said it "doesn't work". Something had to be working if it was on for 6 years, no?
I actually hated Robert California as a mastermind and loved seeing him as he was in the later episodes. It showed that even someone as smart as him is still human and vulnerable
If you understand erins humour then you're elite. I guess this guy just didnt understand her character. Lowkey Erin was one of the funniest charcters in the show lol.
Erin sucked I found her character annoying because she doesn't understand what's happening and that annoys me beyond extent but I see where your coming from
Daryl was one of my favorites because in season 5 when Michael’s having a meeting in a box for he uses a fork lift to pick the boxes up and says “what did I say tell you about making forts in my warehouse?”
1: Dwight 2: Michael 3: Creed 4: Kevin 5: Andy 6: Jim 7: Toby 8: Erin 9: Oscar 10: Pam 11: Stanley 12: Ryan 13: Phyllis 14: Holly 15: Darryl 16: Todd 17: Meredith 18: Robert 19: Roy 20: Nellie 21: Kelly 22: Pete 23: Angela 24: Clark 25: Gabe
Roy did his role perfectly. He actually felt like a douche boyfriend that’s bad for Pam. Making Jim more likeable. And he did it well Erin was just hyper and stupid. The office felt like if it was a documentary based on real people, but Erin came in and it felt more like a scripted show
@@adepresseddanawhite4534 the office UK felt real but the office US came in with more American humor instead of a dark realistic type of humor. The UK version makes you worry for the characters, but the US version is kinda too silly to actually believe it is real, and if you think Erin is stupid and hyper, if she was depressing she wouldn't have many character traits. The reason that the office US is higher rated is that it is different from the UK version which was still good but different.
25) Nellie - could never get over how annoying of a character she began as 24) Robert California - seemed almost like a cartoon character, very creepy and unrealistic 23) Clark - character did not land 1 joke in the whole series 22) Pete - synonym for forgettable 21) Roy - Honestly not that bad of a character played his role well just wasn’t a very likeable role 20) Holly - Never found her funny and Michael was more funny without her around 19) Gabe - Weird but was funny sometimes 18) Jan -named her kid astird deserves 18th spot 17) Phyllis- good character but never had any memorable storylines 16) Erin - Great Development but too quirky 15) Meredith - Funny but one dimensional 14) Kelly - loved the character but could only take her in small bits 13) Darryl - Great development of his character and had a great relationship with Michael felt lost when he left the show though 12) Oscar - Not much to say, one of the more prevalent side characters, never stole the show but consistently funny 11) Stanley - Some of the best moments but they were few and far between 10) Ryan - I don’t understand why people are hating on Ryan he was supposed to be unlikable and pulled it off while being funny 9) Andy - In this spot more based on the size of his character rather than his contribution to the show, started off rather well but they should have kept his character the same as before anger management 8) Toby - Underrated always guaranteed comedy when he was on screen 7) Angela - Probably brought up a few spots by her constant relationship with Dwight but had many funny mean moments 6) Creed - Had best one-liners but not present enough in series to make top 5 since you could have one of the great episode without him and not notice 5) Pam - Hard to put her at 5 as she has the best dramatic moments in the series but was light with the comedy and often acted terribly but was hidden by the overlying story of her and Jim 4) Kevin - Had to have 1 side character in the top 5 and Kevin is the best in my opinion, probably has a couple of my favourite lines in the series 3) Jim - the show could not continue without him unlike Michael (even if it wasn’t pretty) most relatable made it feel like you were in the show but I can’t bring to put him ahead of the next two 2) Michael - Heart and Soul of the series, funniest character without question 1) Dwight - Always consistent, kept the show interesting after Michael left and developed well throughout the seasons and created many storylines with his relationships with Michael and Jim and the rest of the cast as the series progressed
Totally agree with this list. Dwight, jim, and Michael have to be top 3 no matter the order. People may not like it after Michael left but it left more space to grow the relationship of Jim and Dwight which is amazing in season 9.
Creed is super funny every time he says something, but can't rank him over Jim. Michael, Jim, Pam and Dwight are clearly four main characters and deserve top four places.
You can’t ARGUE with me, Creed is the best character. I mean the man didn’t even act, he was just being himself. And the fact that they used the actors name. Michael is funny and all but like every SINGLE thing Creed said throughout the show was legendary!!!
Andy first was a Dwight type character Then he was a caring funny dude Until he comes back from the boat ride He was a selfish idiot and acts like a jerk to Erin Andy is my third favorite character but Seriously when he came back he wasn’t that good
I’m Jay Schif yeah literally hate Pete, that ruined the show. The Erin and Andy thing they had going was the whole point in the show in the last seasons. When Pete came in it was sooo bad.
ExoticVanguard I Agree They say Andy was a terrible lover To Erin and maybe he was But it’s not like Pete was such a good lover either He showed absolutely no signs of caring and or affection to her And didn’t help her with her problems Andy actually did those things I would’ve loved to see Andy and Erin for their relationship to get better But they had to shoot the Hangover 3 And they was the worst hangover movie out of all three of them Also Andy did break up with a girl who actually did really like Andy for once For Erin And I get y she would break up with him But if I was Erin I would’ve stayed with Andy because of the big risk he took
@@yrualamepooperscooper8563 Yeah, I guess its realistic in some ways, but its just bad writing. It would be like if Pam left Jim for Gabe. It does not make sense. And it destroys all of the buildup and payoff, and just feels wrong and awkward. Andy was one of the most sympathetic characters in the later seasons. Really screwed up the late seasons.
ExoticVanguard I also agree in Season 6 when they were dating they were really good together until Michael screwed it up Or it’s because Erin is brain dead I can’t believe they made Andy and Erin break up in Season 6 they could’ve gone to the next level of their relationship But when they dated in Season 9 Their relationship was terrible
Yep. Pete was a plot device, and a bad one. I hated it, the whole of season 8 was about Andy and Erin. Why ruin it? Doesn't make much sense for him to go to Florida, then come back and leave her for a boat.

Wasn't that the would be hornet hunter?
HOW DARE YOU RANK JAN HIGHER THAN ERIN
Imo Erin is the worst character to come in the office. I havnt finished the office due to Erin and the tall skinny guy.
But I have rewatched the first 5 seasons many many times
I rank erin 3rd
erin was a very badly written character she seemed too stupid and it was unrealistic
Jillian Davis her weird and happy behavior made her one if my favorite characters
Jillian Davis I mean by that logic Dwight can seem unrealistic
Pam above Dwight
AM I A JOKE TO YOU?!?
Sayje Vargas exactly fuck this list
Pam is a fucking terrible charecter
The dog no she’s not...
I was not first this list is false
@@quentinsauvageau9522 i agree
I hated Nellie the entire time. I wanted her to get fired the whole time
Just Ilai when she starts reciting Shakespeare to keep her job... ugh that annoyed me so much
Robert California > her, plop and the other nerd from season 9
Charles Moore Clark?
She kind of grew on me a bit by the end... But she was terrible and annoying at first. Definitely not a top character for me, at all, but she did grow on me for sure.
I couldn't watch those episodes can't force my self to do it
Don’t forget about Roy’s character development. He turned out to be exactly what Pam hoped him to be.
@@quackster8295And Roy trusted Jim. The day he kisses Pan, Roy was leaving home early and says "Take care of her for me Alpert."
Andy was awful before anger management and after he became manager
Emolga facts Angela was even better than him.
I liked andy as manager for a little while in season 8
It wasn’t after he became manager it was after his family went bankrupt and the boat trip
Agreed. Thought he had great potential but they totally fucked her character once Michael Scott left
Bad start Bad ending
I hated Andy after he came back from the boat ride
Yep
I loved him UNITL he came back from the boat... rip Andy Bernard
I felt like they really messed him up and all the bad luck happened to him
Manager Andy was awful. I mean I never liked Andy much to begin with but Manager Andy was a cancer
We all did.
Bro hands down best episode in the office spoiler warning!!
Stress relief when dwight starts the fire I was dying
Yeah it’s a really funny episode. It’s not my favorite brand of office humor. So I don’t rewatch it often at all.
5. Dwight
4. Andy (at first)
3. Jim
2. Creed
1. Michael
@@SeanChandlerTalksAbout My favorite has to be Threat Level Midnight. Such a different episode and for someone who loves movies, it reminded of the Room. Hands down my favorite.
Everyone knows Dinner Party is the best episode of the season.
Stress Relief and also the one where they had to talk about stress in the office and Michael takes them down to the warehouse and then he’s on the roof.
Not gunna lie, I always forget Pete and Clark’s real names and end up just calling them Plop and New Dwight
You forgot Mose
Mose isn't a main cast member.

HIS OPINION
I think Kelly is underrated. She speaks her mind most of the time, stands up for herself and others, she is usually a teamplayer, she is not afraid to stand up against absurdities and she can be dangerous when she plots against others. Yes, she is self-centered, annoying and naïve and that's what makes her so wholesome and interesting.
She's also a bully. Definitely not wholesome
You had Roy ahead of Erin
*YOUVE ENTERD THE WRONG NEIGHBORHOOD*
Erin is a terrible character change my mind
Erin was a wasted character imo
Her character was made way too clueless to be entertaining
@@showtime1235 she is very dumb and easily manipulated by Gabe and Plop, its also very weird that Plop a reasonably smart but forgettable guy (actually very lame both in the show and real life) unlike Toby. I'm quite sure he just loves her due to attractiveness but not her stupidity, dumb, naive personality or gets sick of her in the long run (even his 'kindness' has limits and would reevaluate due to her very being stupid and exact opposite of her) She is an adult like Andy but acts like a child while Plop was also an adult but acted like someone at Michael (which Mike and Andy don't act like) age.
stop motion Dylan Andy is the worst character
Having Erin so low is a crime
Maybe. But I stand by per placement for me.
Yep

Same w Kelly
THATS WHAT SHE SAID
Here are my top five favorite characters from The Office and why I love them so much:
Bro u wasted about an hour of ur time for only like 25 people to see this
Tru l
No one read this
Brandos Ghost I agree with your top 5 but I swapped Andy with Darryl for mine solely because I had to take his ruined character in season 9 into account but when he was good I loved him, he was so funny and great. Dwight is obviously the funniest character in the series but I put him at 3rd in my list because there was definitely some character fluctuation (fault of the writers, not Rainn) but his ending was satisfying to me.
Brandos Ghost 😂😗🤣🙁💴
So we’re just not gonna talk about how we put Jan over Holly? tf?
Because at least Jan didn’t steal Michael away from the show lol. Ok for real though Jan was in much more great episodes then Holly
Holly is a more likeable character but that doesn't make her the "better" character
Roy better then Erin? Strange
Roy was a good antagonist to jim. Erin was just a hyper and at times an annoying character.

Sean O’Donnell same

The fact that Erin was BELOW Roy!!!! Whyyyyyyyyyy 🤬
Roy was a bad person, but a good character, well acted and had better plot lines. Erin started well and quickly became a stereotypical dumb girl with an entire character built on love triangles and lazy jokes

The show would be nothing without him
The show would be nothing without Dwight, Michael, Jim, or Pam. If anyone of them were absent, the show wouldn't be good.
BrokenGod Ent. as seen in s8/9

Caroline Fitzgerald nah. In terms of the show. Yes. But in terms of annoying he’s one of the worst
Especially after Andy left. Michael was gone, Pam and Jim were acting out of character. It was Dwight, The Show.
I have a couple of issues, but mainly:
Jan at 12?!?! Jan over Erin?
Right?!!
PamcuK1 but that’s the thing most people don’t watch for realism we watch to laugh and have a good time
@@Flemingmullholland well, that a show with a lot of characthers, each for different purposes.
Great video. IMO, Karen Filippelli (27 episodes) was just as much a regularas Holly Flax (17 episodes). David Wallace (37 episodes) also.
The series would have had a good wrap if Holly and Michael showed up with a young kid and the kid pointed at Michael’s face print in the concrete and said “ What’s that” and Michael would tell him.
Erin. Is. Underrated.
I. Hate. People.
For a lot of reasons, but also because. They. Don’t. Appreciate. Erin.

Roy over Erin? That is absolutely criminal😂
Roy did his role perfectly. He actually felt like a douche boyfriend that’s bad for Pam. Making Jim more likeable. And he did it well
Erin was just hyper and stupid.

25) Nellie - could never get over how annoying of a character she began as
24) Robert California - seemed almost like a cartoon character, very creepy and unrealistic
23) Clark - character did not land 1 joke in the whole series
22) Pete - synonym for forgettable
21) Roy - Honestly not that bad of a character played his role well just wasn’t a very likeable role
20) Holly - Never found her funny and Michael was more funny without her around
19) Gabe - Weird but was funny sometimes
18) Jan -named her kid astird deserves 18th spot
17) Phyllis- good character but never had any memorable storylines
16) Erin - Great Development but too quirky
15) Meredith - Funny but one dimensional
14) Kelly - loved the character but could only take her in small bits
13) Darryl - Great development of his character and had a great relationship with Michael felt lost when he left the show though
12) Oscar - Not much to say, one of the more prevalent side characters, never stole the show but consistently funny
11) Stanley - Some of the best moments but they were few and far between
10) Ryan - I don’t understand why people are hating on Ryan he was supposed to be unlikable and pulled it off while being funny
9) Andy - In this spot more based on the size of his character rather than his contribution to the show, started off rather well but they should have kept his character the same as before anger management
8) Toby - Underrated always guaranteed comedy when he was on screen
7) Angela - Probably brought up a few spots by her constant relationship with Dwight but had many funny mean moments
6) Creed - Had best one-liners but not present enough in series to make top 5 since you could have one of the great episode without him and not notice
5) Pam - Hard to put her at 5 as she has the best dramatic moments in the series but was light with the comedy and often acted terribly but was hidden by the overlying story of her and Jim
4) Kevin - Had to have 1 side character in the top 5 and Kevin is the best in my opinion, probably has a couple of my favourite lines in the series
3) Jim - the show could not continue without him unlike Michael (even if it wasn’t pretty) most relatable made it feel like you were in the show but I can’t bring to put him ahead of the next two
2) Michael - Heart and Soul of the series, funniest character without question
1) Dwight - Always consistent, kept the show interesting after Michael left and developed well throughout the seasons and created many storylines with his relationships with Michael and Jim and the rest of the cast as the series progressed
Better list
Michael is terrible
James Jizsy 👏👏👏
Totally agree with this list. Dwight, jim, and Michael have to be top 3 no matter the order. People may not like it after Michael left but it left more space to grow the relationship of Jim and Dwight which is amazing in season 9.
Yesss, I agree with this completely
Creed is super funny every time he says something, but can't rank him over Jim. Michael, Jim, Pam and Dwight are clearly four main characters and deserve top four places.
i would rank him above jim and pam but not michael or dwight
8r04lif3 yeah
Well the 5 main characters are Dwight Micheal Angela pam and jim
Muffin Kerry Id say Ryan over Angela, though in later seasons, Angela is more of a prominent character.
definitely British really? I feel like he was important and then got rid of him and it was hard to notice he was even there
You can’t ARGUE with me, Creed is the best character. I mean the man didn’t even act, he was just being himself. And the fact that they used the actors name. Michael is funny and all but like every SINGLE thing Creed said throughout the show was legendary!!!
Andy first was a Dwight type character
Then he was a caring funny dude
Until he comes back from the boat ride
He was a selfish idiot and acts like a jerk to Erin
Andy is my third favorite character but
Seriously when he came back he wasn’t that good
I’m Jay Schif yeah literally hate Pete, that ruined the show. The Erin and Andy thing they had going was the whole point in the show in the last seasons. When Pete came in it was sooo bad.
ExoticVanguard I Agree
They say Andy was a terrible lover
To Erin and maybe he was
But it’s not like Pete was such a good lover either
He showed absolutely no signs of caring and or affection to her
And didn’t help her with her problems
Andy actually did those things
I would’ve loved to see Andy and Erin for their relationship to get better
But they had to shoot the Hangover 3
And they was the worst hangover movie out of all three of them
Also Andy did break up with a girl who actually did really like Andy for once
For Erin
And I get y she would break up with him
But if I was Erin I would’ve stayed with Andy because of the big risk he took
@@yrualamepooperscooper8563 Yeah, I guess its realistic in some ways, but its just bad writing. It would be like if Pam left Jim for Gabe. It does not make sense. And it destroys all of the buildup and payoff, and just feels wrong and awkward. Andy was one of the most sympathetic characters in the later seasons. Really screwed up the late seasons.
ExoticVanguard I also agree in Season 6 when they were dating they were really good together until Michael screwed it up
Or it’s because Erin is brain dead
I can’t believe they made Andy and Erin break up in Season 6 they could’ve gone to the next level of their relationship
But when they dated in Season 9
Their relationship was terrible
Yep. Pete was a plot device, and a bad one. I hated it, the whole of season 8 was about Andy and Erin. Why ruin it? Doesn't make much sense for him to go to Florida, then come back and leave her for a boat.
