Appreciate this video! I like doing more finesse fishing and I do a lot of light and ultra light fishing and you guys show that there are more alternatives to the baits I already use. I can’t wait to get on the water and try some of the new techniques I’ve learned through your channel. Thanks guys!
love that you guys feature a lot of the smaller companies. I recently loaded up on some Core tackle (been following Matt Stefan for awhile) and excited to try out. now you guys are making me want to check out Pig Jigs. keep being aggressively awesome!!

ive been using those core tackle hover rigs for the last 6 months. i never got directions on the package. but than again i learned form Matt Stefan on how to use them.
I got my first Pigjig order over the winter and am definitely tying on one of the ned jigs to get my season started. The PigJig/mule collaboration and box looks like a match made in heaven.
I noticed this same trend a month ago here on crown lake in AR. Red just died I thought all the fish did too for a while lol. Then I noticed a guy killing them on transparent small jerk baits and small qt oz shad pattern spinnerbaits. I'm only on my sophomore year of bass fishing but I'm really enjoying learning seasonal patterns on my fishery despite all the ffs madness around me. It gives me great pleasure to kayak fish small tournaments on Norfork and Bull and hold my own as a rookie against the scopers. Yes I can afford it but it feels wrong.

To be honest Bait Finesse Empire is a great place to get tackle. And Jimmy A.K.A RAWR Fishing is a great guy. He has helped me a ton in the Bait Finesse System. And if anyone is wanting to buy one of the best BFS reels on the market try to grab a Diawa Gekkibijin. And remember going bfs means you will be using micro braid.
That hand-tied EWG ned head was pretty sick and so was that little spinner bait in your colors
Landed 2 decent catfish on my feather light Kestrel. It's holding up fine to serious use, but you're spot on that it likely wouldn't survive any type of an "oops"

I’ve found KastKing to be a great value, I’m using one of their 500 series centron lite spin reels in my ultra light trout rod, and it’s been great. I had bought it for my son. But ended up keeping it. 😂
KastKing is an interesting case.....3-5 years ago youtube fishing influencers were all sponsored by them and they leaped onto the scene....then people realized that the youtubers had kinda sold their soul to endorse crap......but kudos to Kastking for not giving up. A lot of their stuff is still garbage but they also have some innovation

Not true at all i pretty much only fish Daiwa but kastking has a couple gems in there arsenal.

Love kastking reels. Love the braid. Have some kastking accessories. Have only tried one rod. Been using Fenwick, ugly stik, bass pro shop gold cup, bonic blade, graphite series rods and others. I broke the kastking rod within a few trips. I see they sell the rods with 2 tips now. I am a rod abuser. I don’t deserve good Rods.

Awesome stuff. That's great Core tackle dropped a pile of stuff on you. Matt has one of the best channels. I recently picked up some core hover rigs and caught a few bass and a crappie that swallowed a 3.5" stick-o rigged on it.

I have many Kastking rods and reels. Quality stuff overall. Also their Deflektor rain suit is amazing!
I agree about Kastking. I can remember thinking “what junk” and now I have several pieces of equipment from KK. It helps that their orange and black scheme matches my kayak 😂 I don’t have any of their rods and reels yet though.
I might grab a kastking kestrel light rod. It should be fine for trout I have a lews ultra lite reel to put on it. I might consider the ultra light rod as well though. I just want something a little longer than what i have now to hopefully cast further
Buying nail weights is wild to me. They might be different but the prices I saw were way too high. I use screws or a nail with the head snipped off
I want to try the hover jig on a salamander or goby bait to keep it more solidly on the bottom instead of nose down with a normal jig

Core tackle is super legit not gonna lie. I’ve had really good results from all their stuff.

Just got a kast king perigee 2. Very nice rod! It is a 2 piece and came with a medium tip and a medium heavy tip. Love it

I bought one Kastking reel, and it grinded more than a donkey on a millstone. Have been skeptical since.
When was that?
I had 2 baitcasters 5 or 6 years ago that were trash! This past year I have been happy tho! Big changes
I bought 4 of them and 2 of them have fallen apart in my hands. This was about 3-4 years ago
@aaanglers 2-3 years ago for me. You guys turned me on to Okuma, and I've never been happier. I bought 3 of them, use them every weekend. I dropped one in the muddy lake water this weekend, and it still doesn't grind as much as the KastKing out of the box.

look into supreme jigs! very good finesse jigs and very good tie job. i’m pro staff for the company and wont use any other jigs.
Pig Jigs r sold out on everything (save ball caps)! U cant stock up on anything from their site lol. This vid came out less than 15 hrs ago, and ur telling us to go stock up lol. Pig jigs r def killer, but they almost never have stock available. I can never seem to catch the site when they have stock, and they dont have an alert system (email alert) when they r restocked. The site never seems to actually product available. Just know after watching this vid, your chances of actually being able to buy, even 1 jig, is incredibly slim.
They're restocking mid March. It's a 1 man show over there, its just part of the deal
