I fell in love with Poem of Damas. This house is great. My favorite thing about this review is that you noted the longevity of this particular fragrance. I really love fragrances that last long. Scent of paradise sounds like a winner. I love Bergamont note and Bergamont mixed with fruit and settling into powdery notes is an aroma, I would really enjoy wearing. Lets start with the name, Scent Of Paradise. Who wouldn’t want try what that smells like. From your description, paradise should smell that way. I like that bergamot is the main player. It is one of my favorite notes. Other scents like bergamot 22, acqua di bergamatto, etc are my other favorites. Maryland.

When I think of what Paradise smells like to me I think of Royal Oud (Oud). Though I will probably never buy it because it doesn't last on my skin but the scent is marvelous.
This sounds amazing. Right up my alley for a nice fresh scent. Notes sound like a more lasting version of one of my favorite designer summer fragrances right now, Givenchy Gentleman Cologne, but maybe fruitier. Located in USA (TX).
Count me in, please! I need a scent that will relax me and transport me to a brighter place, especially living in NY. The bergamot, melons, guava, rose, lavender, iris powdery combo does sound absolutely heavenly. I am still discovering fragrances but I’ve found that florals, fruits, and powdery scents hit my sweet spot.

I'm looking for a great fresh bergamot scent for early Spring since I am already tired of the cold. I usually use Verbena from Caswell-Massey, but have grown tired of its linear composition. I think LeLabo's Bergamote 22 may be a little too pricey. Mugler's Fly Away seems great too, but not sure about the performance and longevity. I figure Middle Eastern houses are a good bet for longevity, especially on fresh ones. Really glad I watched this review as part of my search. In Kansas.
Fruits in perfumes are big pluses in my book, never heard of Alghabra but if they do fruity blends well they sound enticing. I'm in the state of california and I love and collect branded discovery sets for perfumes :)

Such a lovely giveaway! I'm in Ohio. I don't think I have a bergamot-heavy scent. I do like lime though. I don't have many citrus scents. Melon and citrus sounds lovely. I love those fruit notes you mention and love powder. Rhubarb makes me happy. The one melon scent I have that I love is L'Imperatrice 3 by D&G. That is more rotting fruit. Overripe watermelon.
You had me at iris. Also it's powdery aspect. I did try a few samples of Alghabra parfums. They are well done. If it's the scent of paradise, I need to try this. :) I do live in KS, where it is a perfume desert.

First of all; nice review as always, Bergamote is my favorite note ever and the way that you described this scent took right away to Atelier Cologne Bergamote Soliel and other many in my collection.

Last citrus heavy scent I had was Owari by Odin. I smelled it in store during the winter years ago and it was like a wave of summer. Too bad the scent receded just as quickly as a wave...

I love Bergamot. And an Amber, woody drydown sounds pretty amazing as well. I don’t own many citrusy scents at the moment. The closest thing I have would be Oyedo by Diptyque. A little bummed to hear the rose doesn’t make much of an appearance but it still sounds really good! I live in California.

I love citrus fragrances but what interests me about Scent of Paradise is the fruit mixed with the bergamot. That sounds heavenly to me...and I love your use of the term "fluffy" because I'm a bit fluffy, too. :) I can't think of any other scents that contain all of those notes, but I do mix Jo Malone fragrances so you can combine them to get those notes. I have two Alghabras which I picked up in Turkey. They are so high quality and absolutely fantastic, with amazing longevity.

Such a lovely giveaway! I'm in Ohio. I don't think I have a bergamot-heavy scent. I do like lime though. I don't have many citrus scents. Melon and citrus sounds lovely. I love those fruit notes you mention and love powder. Rhubarb makes me happy. The one melon scent I have that I love is L'Imperatrice 3 by D&G. That is more rotting fruit. Overripe watermelon.
You had me at iris. Also it's powdery aspect. I did try a few samples of Alghabra parfums. They are well done. If it's the scent of paradise, I need to try this. :) I do live in KS, where it is a perfume desert.

Sebastian's review was very descriptive, definitely made me want to try this light yet beast mode fragrance. I really appreciate a fragrance that has lasting power and I also love bergamot. I don't have any fragrances that sound similar to this one.

First of all; nice review as always, Bergamote is my favorite note ever and the way that you described this scent took right away to Atelier Cologne Bergamote Soliel and other many in my collection.

Last citrus heavy scent I had was Owari by Odin. I smelled it in store during the winter years ago and it was like a wave of summer. Too bad the scent receded just as quickly as a wave...

I love Bergamot. And an Amber, woody drydown sounds pretty amazing as well. I don’t own many citrusy scents at the moment. The closest thing I have would be Oyedo by Diptyque. A little bummed to hear the rose doesn’t make much of an appearance but it still sounds really good! I live in California.

I love citrus fragrances but what interests me about Scent of Paradise is the fruit mixed with the bergamot. That sounds heavenly to me...and I love your use of the term "fluffy" because I'm a bit fluffy, too. :) I can't think of any other scents that contain all of those notes, but I do mix Jo Malone fragrances so you can combine them to get those notes.
