Niche, designer, cheapies, I want it all. I'm finding I really enjoy the vocabulary of fragrance. I love what fragrance invokes and appreciate your laid back, conversation fragrance stories. This is an education for me so I like it all.
I like to see designer and niche together. I would much rather know about "good" rather than "good for a designer," so seeing them together is really cool.
Combination of both! I value your opinion and like to hear your thoughts on designers that others often cover. I also like how you bring in oddball brands not many talk about! I tried Kiehl’s Original Musk and Ineke Idyllwild because of you and they both blew my mind 🤩
I prefer a non-discriminatory approach when it comes to fragrance. That being said, niche tends to be more interesting & innovative. At the end of the day if it's good (niche or not) it's worth talking about :)
Please make a DESIGNER and a CHEAPIE version of this video soon! I love to see the niche but I can't really follow up on any of the recommendations given the state of economy :(
I prefer niche only. I look at it this way, Sebastian: If I want to try any of the majority of designer fragrances, I can get online samples or just go to my nearest Macy's (which is readily accessible when coronavirus isn't). I simply find niche fragrances to be not only better, but infinitely so.
I prefer the combo method, Sebastien. I really like your encyclopedia-like knowledge and the range you cover in your videos. There's something for everyone!
You’re my go-to reviewer for niche brands. A lot of the reviewers are already doing designers (Jeremy, Gent Scents...) and your collab with Dana and other guests are really informative and entertaining. That being said, throwing in some designers and cheapies will also give us comparisons with the niche fragrances you review. Not all of us have access or have the resources to afford niche perfumes so I think a well-rounded approach works best to inform collectors and casual viewers.
Both. But I appreciate the Niche reviews. I am eyeing up Saguara Perfumes and can't find reviews anywhere. I live in the US Southwest so alot of the notes are appealing to me and feel more natural. So appreciate that you bring designer brands as well as brands I might not hear of otherwise.
Ellen McGeady I agree. I love the niche myself, but a little more unisex, leaning feminine, would be fantastic. His nose is the one I trust! I’ve purchased over 4 new fragrances because of him.😊
Thanks for the reviews! I always watch them because I have the more or less the same taste and I always have something to learn. I prefer a combo of both since I buy both categories plus the affordable/cheaper ones.
I had a sample of You or Someone Like You that I initially did not like it. But after wearing it on a warm day, it really shines. I totally get the freshly cut mint and citrus, but the dry down is more rose and green stems/leaves (slightly similar to Rose et Cuir). Great stuff and I love the house!
I enjoy the channel as is discussing designer, luxury and niche fragrances. Since the weather has started to warm up I’ve been reaching for my 10 ml decant of Afternoon Swim, Louis Vuitton and also my bottle of Rive D’Ambre,Tom Ford.
I like both your designer and niche videos, but will admit that out of the fragrance influencers I follow, you do the best at the niche. I think you probably have the best collection/access, so on a list like this, for example, you have not five, not 10, but 20 really unique niche fragrances. IF other influencers do niche, I feel like it's the same five niche players. Always enjoy your videos! Thank you!
How nice of you to ask! I like a combination of designer and niche, since there are fragrances in both categories that I really love. I enjoy the videos on houses with a confusing number of perfumes - Serge Lutens, for instance - and LOVE the super-geeky ones you do with that very funny, very smart woman with the adorable accent.
I always appreciate your balance of niche and designer fragrances. A lot of niche are too pricey for my budget, but I like learning about them for when I am able to splurge. I think you have a nice balance.
I like a combination. I wear niche but do buy designers as gifts to friends and relatives. Lol. Pls, don’t blame me haha. Also, I think designers can be nice and inexpensive work fragrances. So yes, combo of niche and designers is good, but make it two separate videos. I have really enjoyed ur recommendations. Best fragrance review on UA-cam in my opinion. Straight talking and good description without compromises!
Hello sébastian . I am french living in the french west indies. I love your reviews, your style and taste. I like ear you talking about niche but designer fragrances also ( even if i prefer niche). What i would like, is to have more informations about women fragrances. Bye and thank you
More Niche, one reason why I watch your videos is the fact that you show and review niche brands that not many people have heard of. Most Designers smell very generic, synthetic and cheap.
Yes, please do combination of niche and designer. It would be nice to know if the unisex fragrance you talk about is feminine or masculine leaning. As a woman, I still want to smell more feminine and I know you have more male subscribers and you are yourself so I don’t expect you to do a lot of feminine fragrances. But I am always listening to how you describe the fragrance notes to distinguish if they are leaning which side and I appreciate it when you do mention which spectrum it leans on. Great and informative video again!
I personally like the combo of niche and designer that you've been doing so far.. This summer I will be wearing my MFK aqua vitae and universalis forte but also my zara somewherenowhere.. I'll also be wearing The Dolce and Gabbana flanker of light blue called Italian zest, which is very pleasant too
Niche as I can't walk into stores locally and sample them, rely on reviews like these to get inspired as to what samples I should order. Anything by YSL, Dior, Hermes, etc I can just sample in a sephora or something similar.
Definitely both! Love hearing about lesser known designer frags, but also really interested in niche and oddball brands. Really enjoy your videos Sebastian.
I prefer the combo, im begining with niche and i'm More interested to know about them but all fragances are great. Greetings from México your videos are great.
I like the balance you present already. I learn so much by watching your channel. Thank You! I don't have a lot of summer niche yet (Creed Virgin Island Water is about it). I do have several upscale designers like Armani Prive's Orangerie Venise, Vetiver d'hiver and Eau de Jade that I plan on wearing a lot.
Another vote for combination for both. Although if I have to pick, then probably niche, as designers are easy for me to test for myself as they are much more readily available.
Combo for sure & I like when you slip in a unique choice like last year when you tossed in Thalia Sodi - Liquid Sun & Tous Man Sport. I would never have tried either if not for you & I’m glad I did!
I like what you are doing the way you do it, I personally, prefer your niche reviews due to the price of niche fragrances I tend to watch reviews about niche fragrances more than designer. But you have a good review balance in my opinion, thank you for the great reviews.
I like knowing about any frags so I know what to look for - good or bad. I wouldn't say I prefer niche or designer, although as someone on a somewhat tight budget I would say I like to learn about budget frags.
Niche for sure. Can I ask for a video introducing 10-20 summer fragrance for women, in which you can based on the most popular designer fragrances and recommend a niche comparing to each designer, which have a more complex, better scent and performance?
I'm undergoing the same change, that I suddenly seem to like aquatics, even though they made me gag a year ago. As soon as you mentioned Diptyque's Eau de Lierre, I remembered that I had a decant of that and immediately tried it. And i love it!!! It's green, aquatic and so fresh, love it. Thanks for your videos. I love the mix of niche and designer fragrances.
I would prefer niche because youtube is full of designers. I usually appreciate your contenct because I can descover new, unique fragrances through it.
I'd say just keep doing what you're doing. Prefer the neich Reviews more, but have a very similar nose to your preferences, so I live the designers and cheapies from you as well, as those are more accessible to me and I feel idlikethem if you like them. Great work as usual good Sir!
Thanks for the detailed fragrance reviews. I've recently started my fragrance journey, and it seems like I enjoy niche fragrances more. I'm into fragrances that are unique and will make a bold statement.
Please keep doing what you're doing. I love hearing and learning from you about both. Because of you, I tried Hindu Kush. This is now one of my favorite fragrance. Thank you.
A balance between Designer and Niche with a slight emphasis on Niche as you have been doing is the way to go. Keeps us informed of hidden gems we may not have heard of that we need to experience.
Even now social distancing at home I´m wearing these, will keep rotating most of these throughout the Summer I think, maybe adding Azzaro Chrome Aqua and Mugler Fly Away if I get them by then: Mugler Cologne Terre De Hermes EDT Fougere Royale Encre Noire Sport, also normal Encre Noire some days actually Guerlain Vetiver Zara Vibrant Leather EDP + Armaf Club de Nuit Intense (killer Aventus clone combo) Banana Republic 78 Vintage Green Nautica Voyage
Niche! And maybe luxury designer? I’m always interested in what Tom Ford is up to but I love niche perfume houses because I don’t want to smell like everyone else. Would love for you to do some reviews on D.S & Durga!
I honestly don’t know. Out of all of my fragrances 80% are designer because I just recently got into niche scents and the only three I have are Creed Silver Mountain Water, Virgin Island Water, and Parfums De Marly Layton but I rather use those three any day. Not that I don’t love designer fragrances but those three niche (specially Silver Mountain Water) have something that’s just intoxicating. I think by now no doubt Creed SMW is my signature scent.😍😎👌🏽💯
I owe to you Yin Transformation and Ambria Calabria both fantastic! Right now my favorite summer niche is WetStone, I like a lot Petrichor Plains from Mihan Aromatics but it just doesn't last on my skin, I still have to find the perfect petrichor fragrance. Definitely prefer Niche over designer, much more creative and complex and I DO like complexity in fragrances. Thanks Sebastian!

Mfk aqua universali is too feminine, way to much,
Combo please
Niche all Day, If I may respectfully suggest
All hail sebastian, king of niche!
So grateful that you brought out summer fragrance for 2020, can also catogrise them work place and weekend please
I prefer niche, designer fragrances are generally more accessible to test but a combo of both may benefit your page in my opinion
I prefer niche. But, with your reviews, I've found a few designer fragrances i wouldn't have tried. So both.
Prefer niche, but overlooked, unique designers are great, too.
^THIS.
I like the balanced mix of niche and designers. In other words, keep your current format please!
Niche is your Comfortzone and speciality......More Niche for sure!!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥list .. I would like to watch a combo of the bests than both groups ( Niche / Designers)
Niche, designer, cheapies, I want it all. I'm finding I really enjoy the vocabulary of fragrance. I love what fragrance invokes and appreciate your laid back, conversation fragrance stories. This is an education for me so I like it all.
I love a combination of both, plus the odd balls.
I’m a huge fan of your content, so as consumer of your content, I take what I want, and discard what I don’t like. Keep up the good work.
I like to see designer and niche together. I would much rather know about "good" rather than "good for a designer," so seeing them together is really cool.
You have a great format! However, to answer your question I prefer niche. I would say a ratio of 75% niche / 25% designer would be great.
Combination of both! I value your opinion and like to hear your thoughts on designers that others often cover. I also like how you bring in oddball brands not many talk about! I tried Kiehl’s Original Musk and Ineke Idyllwild because of you and they both blew my mind 🤩
Please master, only NICHE FRAGANCES!!! Amazing review 👏
Niche 85 % and 15 % designer would be good. Love your fragrances collection
I prefer a non-discriminatory approach when it comes to fragrance. That being said, niche tends to be more interesting & innovative. At the end of the day if it's good (niche or not) it's worth talking about :)
Niche! As long as they are worth buying! And I love to wear things nobody else wears.
Nice video Sebastian. I prefer Niche perfum
I love a mix of designer and niche reviews. Love all your video reviews 💕
Please make a DESIGNER and a CHEAPIE version of this video soon!
I love to see the niche but I can't really follow up on any of the recommendations given the state of economy :(
Combo of both niche and designer no need to change anything. This channel is awesome
I prefer niche only. I look at it this way, Sebastian: If I want to try any of the majority of designer fragrances, I can get online samples or just go to my nearest Macy's (which is readily accessible when coronavirus isn't). I simply find niche fragrances to be not only better, but infinitely so.
What's your fav summer and your fav winter niche
I prefer the combo method, Sebastien. I really like your encyclopedia-like knowledge and the range you cover in your videos. There's something for everyone!
I’d say continue both however leaning niche as they are less accessible and the review helps decide if we’re going to look for the scent
I prefer niche. You have the greatest finds, and describe them in a way that comes alive.
Combination of both and perhaps some more unisex and feminine leaning fragrances. Love your less expensive alternatives as well.
Ellen McGeady I agree. I love the niche myself, but a little more unisex, leaning feminine, would be fantastic. His nose is the one I trust! I’ve purchased over 4 new fragrances because of him.😊
@@Faithb73 I do tool
Now this is the list we've all been waiting for 👑
💺 (reserved seating for one)
that's my man lol
@@OksanaItkes oh , I was saving myself a front row seat is all 😯😂
Sebastian, I’m glad your mentioning bergamote 22, I’ve smelled a bunch of citrus scents and I consider this one the standard I measure all of em too.
Love Nio?
Niche please!! Designers we can go smell at the mall, oh, maybe not anymore though 🤔
Right
Thanks for the reviews!
Keep it as it is! Don’t change what is already perfect. Combo!
You always bring the best from each genre including indies & I simply love your eclectic style .
More Niche 👌🏻. I do like the more expensive designer offerings too.
I enjoy the channel as is discussing designer, luxury and niche fragrances. Since the weather has started to warm up I’ve been reaching for my 10 ml decant of Afternoon Swim, Louis Vuitton and also my bottle of Rive D’Ambre,Tom Ford.
I like a combo of both Sebastian, your channel is very informative, keep up the great work your doing amigo..

I prefer niche reviews. Thank you Sabastian... love all your reviews ♥️

I enjoy the videos on houses with a confusing number of perfumes - Serge Lutens, for instance - and LOVE the super-geeky ones you do with that very funny, very smart woman with the adorable accent.
It is great to have some of both. Especially when you are posting so often! Thank you.

Great vid. I like a combo of both designers and niche
More Niche, one reason why I watch your videos is the fact that you show and review niche brands that not many people have heard of. Most Designers smell very generic, synthetic and cheap.
I got Banana republic vintage green, blind buy from your reviews, thanks Sebastian, I really enjoy it.
I love your niche and idie reviews...especially the unique ones...great job
I'm curious as to how you got so interested in colognes
Yes, please do combination of niche and designer. It would be nice to know if the unisex fragrance you talk about is feminine or masculine leaning. As a woman, I still want to smell more feminine and I know you have more male subscribers and you are yourself so I don’t expect you to do a lot of feminine fragrances. I used to love your designer videos, but since then I've definitely moved on to niche, all part of the journey
I prefer designer because in my country is hard to find niche, but I like the combo to know about perfumes around the world including niche. Thanks!
I enjoy a combination of both. I’ve learned so much from you. I thank you for expanding my knowledge.
Niche and your doing a great job of focusing on niche
The way you do it right now is the perfect balance in my opinion.
I personally like the combo of niche and designer that you've been doing so far..

Combo is best. Including cheapies. You don't need the side kicks IMHO. I love when you visit the house's boutiques. Impressive.
A mix plus some indie frags would be good I love hidden gems
Definitely both! Love hearing about lesser known designer frags, but also really interested in niche and oddball brands. Really enjoy your videos Sebastian.
I prefer the combo, im begining with niche and i'm More interested to know about them but all fragances are great. Greetings from México your videos are great.
Definitely more niche. Don’t really wear many designers. Great video as always.
Designers and niche combo plus indie and even celebrity ones...odd balls are true gems 👌
Both niche and designer(high end) are really exciting to me. Bought three of you designer options, so it’s working😍.
A combo of both niche and designer. Fragrances are fragrances. Not many you can choose from designers of course but still. :) Nice video Sebastian.
One thing that I love about your collection is that you actually use them, they are not full like in most of UA-camrs videos :D

Excellent list! Because of the elevated prices of niche fragrances please continue to do both. Thank you!
Combination of both please. I like learning about the oddball fragrance options too! Lisa

I prefer the broad range of fragrances you cover. Bergamotto de Calabria is fabulous, one of my current faves!
I like how many varieties you show and not what everybody knows.
Your current format works great! A mixture of niche and designer and anything else you have. 🙏 thanks for always being so informative.
I personally would like to watch odd and unknown fragrances ,combo designer and niche.
Big thumbs up 👍🏻
Like always enjoy learning niche and newer brands, but I love how you combo everything also.
I think you've got the perfect balance of niche and designer frag discussions going on at the moment👌
Please keep doing what you're doing. I love hearing and learning from you about both. Because of you, I tried Hindu Kush. This is now one of my favorite fragrance. Thank you.
I love the combination of both.... niche and designer
A balance between Designer and Niche with a slight emphasis on Niche as you have been doing is the way to go. Keeps us informed of hidden gems we may not have heard of that we need to experience.
I think it’s the vetiver in Nio that’s reminding you of classic citruses. I love Nio!
I love combination of both (niche50/designer50) Sebastian. You make a really good job here. Thanks!
I like hearing about all types of fragrances. I don't like the idea that I might miss out on a hidden gem because of some arbitrary classification.
I prefer focus on niche and occasional topics on designers. Thank you for all your videos:)))
I prefer more niche but once in a while covering designers would be nice! Thanks for making these great vids
Even now social distancing at home I´m wearing these, will keep rotating most of these throughout the Summer I think, maybe adding Azzaro Chrome Aqua and Mugler Fly Away if I get them by then:
Mugler Cologne
Terre De Hermes EDT
Fougere Royale
Encre Noire Sport, also normal Encre Noire some days actually
Guerlain Vetiver
Zara Vibrant Leather EDP + Armaf Club de Nuit Intense (killer Aventus clone combo)
Banana Republic 78 Vintage Green
Nautica Voyage
combo of designer and niche. Your the best keep it up.
Niche! And maybe luxury designer? I’m always interested in what Tom Ford is up to but I love niche perfume houses because I don’t want to smell like everyone else. Would love for you to do some reviews on D.S & Durga!

Definitely combo. Love hearing about the obscure as much as the common frags out there.
