SA doesn't have to prove anything against NZ. They just need to beat the opponent in front of them on the day, including Wales. Unless you want all teams to play no one but NZ to get test points
If World Rugby stopped kissing NZ's arse at every available opportunity, and started by removing their 5 minute dance routine at the start of each and every game which gives them an unfair psychological edge, they'd be just another team like everyone else. Granted a decent one, but another one nonetheless.
They'd still be masters of the 5 feet in front of the receiving player "flat pass", but we know World Rugby reminds the officials that time and distance are relative concepts, so that's fine.
DDA had a 4 on 2 all he needed was to simply put it through the hands. Luckily we got the bounce of ball. Its just yet another poor decision on attack from our friend that can only do netball like pop passes in contact. Esterhuizen is 10 times the player DDA is.
We had like three players on the far left, I think kicking made it a very contactable ball. Luckily the cover player was tackled and Kriel was spot on. Passing was far better for me 😂😂😂😂
@ThaboMazwayi basics of attack is to execute on the law of averages as ball possession is king. It makes zero sense taking 100% of your own ball. Kicking it away turning it into a 50/50 situation. Its that mini moments against better opposition that will end up costing you tries. Simply going through the hands would have been easier and a for sure try scoring situation. Hacking it down field and hoping your support runners chases it down is more hope and faith than a strategy.
@bbmcars yeah he doesn't challenge the inside defence line as they know when he gets the ball he gun barrels straight into the defence. He doesn't offload does run on the weaker shoulder of the tackler. Nothing. It's basically a prop forward standing at channel 1 running straight. Then it takes a few secs to bring him down but the defence has time to realign. Thus rendering that few meters he made useless for creating space
This was possibly the third's Welsh team, Given that I thought Wales did well to keep the score down. SA took their foot off the pedal in the 4th quarter.
If it was the Welsh third team, that was rather pointless from Wales. It's supposed to be a warm-up for the World Cup. You want your players to stay match fit.
Inexperience Wales "A" vs behemoth SpringBoks squad with eight tries. SA squad faster, stronger, bigger and ruthless against Wales "A"🤫 cheers from Oklahoma
Don't get too excited, keep your panties on South Africa, that was a 2nd team Welsh backline , 1st team was rested and recovering from two brutal tests against England. Not all teams will give you ten intercept chances.
Didn’t watch the game so didn’t see the refs fully discuss the card, but sorry, is that not deemed a red card for head on head contact? Players are both upright and is a clear clash of heads. Even if the first SA tackler accelerates the contact, Willemse is still stood upright
unless you are own farrel , intentionally butting heads. Willemse was a collision at worst. Yellow card,. The 'administrators" are headless at the moment .
Mitigating factor that probably kept it at a yellow card is that PSDT already tackled Dyer so he was not upright and was being pulled to ground. Willemse was also significantly bent, albeit an upright body.
Shame even at 70:17 the ref was still trying to get Whales to score a try. Shame the match officials looked very disappointed in their performance. No reviews on any of the opposition tries but every Springbok try was scrutinised from 50 facets of play before the tries gets awarded.
@@PatrickDedericks Against tougher opponents tries will be few and far between. So kicking will be crucial. @@Br0kensaint1 it's very clear that you don't know anything about Rugby and have a personal problem with DDA so please 🙏 if he rejected you move on life is too short and there's plenty fish in the sea 😂😂😂😂
World rugby should be grateful to sonny boy Williams jnr for how ninja he was with passing of the ball..
So, against New Zeeland you saw.....?
when ever forward passes are questioned replayed etc the tmo should always include the overhead view, . unfortunately they seldom do so. MMMMM ? it is more accurate then a side slant view.
Pieter steph du toit is our best player man
Lots SA fans in Wales
We tend to migrate
@@daaichommie708 Good for you guys
Would they be as loyal as the Welsh fans I dought it very much.
Fabulous.
PSDT gas😮
4 x champs for a reason
so you can't have a replay of the kolisi offload, but you can have thhem being offside? rivetting stuff
Wow. 1652... the year jan van riebeeck landed in south africa
🤣🤣
yeah yeah... well done 👏
6 months ago we tried to do 1066 at twickenham to celebrate conquest of England by William of Normandy but we missed a few more minutes...
suddenly we stopped at 1053 the year of his marriage 😂
Wow.. I was just about to type the same thing. It was the first thing that sprang to mind when I saw the score.. hahaha
Glad I am not the only one
It was easy to be on-fire against a 2nd string Wales side. We will see how strong the Boks are when the play New Zealand.
Thought Wales were really poor, scoreline flatters SA though.
We never underestimate our mates the ABs. They are pure class 💚💛🇿🇦
Nice game boys
What happen the first day at work
le 1er essai sudaf 2 fois avant, mais bon apres y a rien a dire, ils sont plus forts
Boks on fire!
Why the hell do they have VAR if they can't see an obvious forward pass?
DDA had a 4 on 2 all he needed was to simply put it through the hands. Luckily we got the bounce of ball. Its just yet another poor decision on attack from our friend that can only do netball like pop passes in contact. Esterhuizen is 10 times the player DDA is.
It’s not a ‘poor’ decision. He kicks because he still doesn’t know how to pass lol, which is absolutely crazy
We just have depth all over the game
I Really hope that SA gets to play against England 😊...We are gona Break those poms😅
Looking fit.
So they've got better players where in Wales 😂😂😂😂😂
this wasnt our best selection either stop the excuses
You get wrecked end of story this is not our top side aswell
The yellow for Willemse was rediculous. His knees were bent at almost 90°. Some collisions are just accidental, with no one to blame or penalise.
Inexperience Wales "A" vs behemoth SpringBoks squad with eight tries. SA squad faster, stronger, bigger and ruthless against Wales "A"🤫 cheers from Oklahoma
Ayyye. I know you. Lol
It’s teddie from OKC touch rugby 2020
The commentor comments (19min & 40 seconds)sure he had to eat his words at the end of the match.
Don't get too excited, keep your panties on South Africa, that was a 2nd team Welsh backline , 1st team was rested and recovering from two brutal tests against England. Not all teams will give you ten intercept chances.
England are shit😂. Boks B team battered England last year under Eddie😂
Then y'all have a kak 2nd team you won't get to the semis
@@jadenphilander8799
put the first team to go to the quarter and semi-finals, at the RWC you are at the adult table, not the kid's...
Can we get excited now?
If the Springboks are on 🔥 then the All Blacks must be nuclear
Didn’t watch the game so didn’t see the refs fully discuss the card, but sorry, is that not deemed a red card for head on head contact? Players are both upright and is a clear clash of heads. Even if the first SA tackler accelerates the contact, Willemse is still stood upright
unless you are own farrel , intentionally butting heads. Willemse was a collision at worst. Yellow card,. The 'administrators" are headless at the moment .
All in all it's a ridiculous rule.
Mitigating factor that probably kept it at a yellow card is that PSDT already tackled Dyer so he was not upright and was being pulled to ground. Willemse was also significantly bent, albeit an upright body.
Imagine the Libbok was putting all his kicks over... 16-68
Imagine Pollard was playing 0 tries and 8 penalties final score 24 - 21
@@PatrickDedericks pollard proved idiots like u wrong again..Manie se poes hys kak
Wales only got 15 players and not one played in this game except for maybe morgan . When the full side plays there will be surprises
great
at 6 min the Wales player runs into Moodie not the other way around
Can someone explain the yellow card for unintentional head collision 😅
Shame even at 70:17 the ref was still trying to get Whales to score a try. Shame the match officials looked very disappointed in their performance. No reviews on any of the opposition tries but every Springbok try was scrutinised from 50 facets of play before the tries gets awarded.
Le swaka maan-gale dumele nare😂
If only the new Bok kickers could learn from Frans Steyn....
We scored 8 tries and all you think of is kicking get used to a Springbok team that can score from anywhere on the field dammit
@@PatrickDedericks Against tougher opponents tries will be few and far between. So kicking will be crucial. In those cases you need someone who can put the ball over from virtually anywhere on the field in the opponents half - to keep the pressure on. Just watch what happens from the quarter finals onwards this year and then come back and tell me again.
Or Morne
@@PatrickDedericks Still need to kick penalties and conversions - just see how vital those were in the semis and final of the world cup. Can't get away from it. When tries are as scarce as hen's teeth (because the opposition defense is so good) then accurate kicking becomes vital.
@@kevinrtres Twickenham 2023 South Africa 35 (5tries + 5 conversions) All Blacks 7 MANIE LIBBOK at flyhalve, 2023 World cup Final SA 12 No tries NZ 11 Pollard at flyhalve. RASSIE ERASMUS is playing a game plan that suits his OVERRATED white players, Pollard is a PLODDER in comparison to the attacking skills of Manie Libbok
13:40 How the hell is an accidental head clash a yellow card? He even had his arms leading for the wrap tackle. Why isn't the bloke with the ball not carded for leading with his head into the tackle??
RWC 2023 will be FUCT
Wales smashed by 50 again
As a welsh man wales were terrible to be fair to South Africa better team better players and coaches were weren’t good enough
Once you playing against our boys you know that you dead already 😂😂😂🇿🇦
The referees really pussle me with some of these decisions
Jesse stabbed them in the gut..
Why yellow card for the 11th ?
This is Wales second grade... Im scared of their no. 1 team... SA got lucky with all the intercepts...
SA got lucky? Wales was shoddy and got mercilessly punished for it!
Jeez my guy you didn't watch the game, intercepts are read not once was anyone lucky
Not lucky, it’s called a rush defense, you have to set much deeper otherwise the passes are guaranteed intercepts
Haha this was a b side from the boks so 16 - 52 is lucky. lol consider your self lucky lebok kicked at goal could have been 68-16 poor clown 😂
One of the worst penalty try decisions I've ever seen.
No wonder Gatland had the laws changed!
SO Owen Farrell high tackle get a red card, dropped to yellow, which is the same as clash of heads?? 😕
well if it was against a bok player it would stay, english bias!!vunapoli also red, love to see what happens in his case????
Eileen
What happens Wale?
Worst defense ever.
I'm sad to see that before RWC. And I'm French, but sad to see that.
Given the score I was expecting to see a big performance, I just saw in this highlights boks score tries gifts offered by the men in red and white like at Christmas...
Gonna have to do better guys, you're at the adult table in your part of the RWC draw. But it's a preparation test match.
For our Welsh friends, be careful Fijians, it's not won at the World Cup, bet on the fact that these are only warm-up matches.
uhm
Proof that you cant play third choice players and youngsters against the very best, you learn nothing. A half decent ref and a competent TMO would have been a bonus.
Tonight will be more of the same🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Men against boys... Gaz did not do these players a favour by picking them
that penalty try was incorrect. from these replays the ball was already behind Moodie. Humans, we all make mistakes. Just dont do it in the world cup >
