Great video and I was happy to see that you stopped in Des Moines! I live right outside of Des Moines in Ankeny. I was sad that you didn't get to walk around for a bit downtown, but definitely understand about wanting to stay in too (I get the same way once in a while).

I used to travel a lot for work, out of Dallas at that time. Great to see the perspective of working as an attendant during COVID. I couldn't imagine flying that much right now. Stay safe out there.

I enjoyed the video. I took the Skylink yesterday at DFW to go from the A gate to the C2...and I got on the wrong direction one and went all the way around the airport! It was like a trip in itself. Now I know why you like to park near the gate of your flight. That Skylink can almost make you miss your flight if you do what I did! But I had fun nevertheless. Glad you’re back. I stayed in a Hilton Garden Inn last night back East, exact same shower, Keurig and microwave. I was happy.
I never binge-watched anyone on YT, until your video popped up in my recommendation! Your videos ROCK, every second of content is interesting!
Checklist for gear and anything else important. Car locator app for your phone. Park the car, find the app, do you want to park here, y/n push one or the other. It will bring you back to the car within feet.

San Jose CA. I started my career with AA in SJC. At one time it was our west coast hub. We flew to Tokyo, Taipei, Paris, Honolulu, Maui, New York, Boston, Miami and all up and down the west coast. It was a great "little" hub.

Kacey; Excellent presentation! I worked as an Airline Flight Attendant for over 18 years. I sure wish I had one of those hotel door guard devices! Especially in hotel rooms with adjoining doors to the room next door. That hotel in Des Moines was much nicer than the hotel our crews stayed in, during Des Moines overnights! Have fun! Stay safe!
Your fears of forgetting what it's like on the job are not unfounded. I work in an office job and when we get back on site, I'm wondering if I remember my keycodes, office protocols, where's the emergency exit, where's the supply room, where's the bathroom, etc. Not to mention the office calendars still showing 2020. It's good to see what's ahead.

Welcome back! :) I have that same door security device. It's MONEY! I sleep better knowing someone can't mess with my hotel door. Glad you mentioned it on here in hopes someone else may find it useful as well. Happy flying and stay safe!

Back to work. Time sure flys when your having fun. I wasn't to far off predicting how long you would be furloughed. Now you have a idea what life is like when you finally quit flying.

I am a 61 year old grandmother and watching you I am wondering as my granddaughters grow up what they will decide to do for a living when they are grown. The oldest is 15 the youngest is 5. The oldest one has beautiful eyes like you. Both girls are pretty but my oldest reminds me of you with the pretty eyes and high cheek bones. She has light hair. I am sure your parents and grandparents are very proud of the wonderful young lady you have grown up to be. I have never flown but watching you makes me want to plan a trip. I could handle going alone. I grew up as an only child and am divorced since 2012. I have no problem being alone. God bless you.

One of my guy friend coworkers , who sadly passed away about a year ago used to pick at me at our old office. He would tell me I should tie a raccoon tail to my car then maybe I could find it. Employee parking was all in one square over there and you could never get the same spot.
Now we are in a newer building and you can basically get pretty much the same spot if you don't mind walking a little further.
I had the same spot closer to the door but we got a new girl working with us and she started parking there everyday.
She's very sweet and I just decided to get another spot.
I'm not going to start out, just getting to know someone with "hey you took my spot.
I only have to walk three more parking spaces. No big deal☺

Question: Do you review the escape routes in every hotel when you check into your rooms?? Are you aware of any fire doors and stairwells too?? Also do you know how to use a fire extinguisher? Always be aware of your surroundings and exits.
