I like getting reusable bags from local grocery stores. They are inexpensive, easy to take back home, and will stand out from everyone else's bags at the store. A great variety of nice-looking bags are available at places like Sainsbury's, Waitrose, and M & S.
My favourite things to bring home after a trip to London are the teas or hot chocolates from Whittard. Compared to other places they are pretty affordable, they have SO many goodies to choose from (the Toffee Hot Chocolate is AMAZING). And so many of them come in the cutest reusable tins.
there is a couple all over London! my favourite might be the ones close to Tottenham Court Rd (such lovely people working that store) or the Strand/Charing Cross one. There is definitely one more at Covent Garden (I don't think I have ever been to that one), Buckingham Palace Rd (also lovely) and one at Piccadilly Circus (usually a little busy) @@TRENDYSAKSHI
Since I'm that early to the video, I want to take this oppertunity to say Thank you to you Jess and your team: not only do I think your videos are great, I'm actually making notes and use them to help me plan my actual, real-life trip to London. This channel provides priceless value 👍
Whenever my husband and I travel, we always bring back artwork by local artists, and have them framed once we're back home. We have beautiful art on our walls of our home which always bring back wonderful memories of our trips.
I love how this is like "local tips" hahahahah very much like one of our internet friends, unlike Google which suggests very boring things. hahahah well I'm only ready for how to get a bit of a discount on the UK railroads thanks to this video which gave me more good tips I'm looking forward to my trip to London next month!
If you are American, be aware of the rules about bringing food and alcohol back. One bottle of alcohol comes in with no problems. Commercially made foods can come in if it is sealed in its original packaging.
My favorite souvenir I brought back with me was a Tube Map poster with the station names changed to reflect famous movies, actors and Directors associated with the area near the station. It's framed and hanging in our movie room. Edit to add we bought it at the Transport Museum in Covent Garden.
Earlier this year I spent 3 weeks in London seeing _all_ the sites, one place I know I'll visit again is a fantastic shop 2 doors down from the Sherlock Holmes Museum that is filled to the ceiling with band-themed goodies (Stones, Beatles, Floyd, so on). I picked up a stack of Abbey Road Studios mouse pads (Abbey Road Reel) for ONE Pound each. They were the only gifts I brought back for friends & family and everyone loved them. Aside from the deal, the shop owner is character and it was probably the best 5 minutes of conversation I had with a local on the whole trip. Jess, I don't know if you've mentioned this before but.. I sure could have used a bottle opener on the trip. If you pick up one seemingly silly gift, make sure it can open a bottle of ale/cider from the Sains Local - the skin on your fingers will thank you. London is endlessly amazing.
As a londoner living in Germany who has occasional bouts of homesickness I always stock up with food and drink when I come over! Tea, biscuits, marmalade, Marmite (!) etc. Unfortunately since Brexit some things are not so easy anymore to take home.
My London ‘souvenirs’ were British cakes and biscuits (I bought a big shopper full) to have tea with in the Netherlands🇳🇱I bought some books too. Love your videos! More tips for future trips!😊
We're going to be in London next September as part of the Agatha Christie International Festival in Torquay, so I've been binging on your videos the last couple of days. We (my wife and I) really appreciate the quality of your information and have been taking notes on what to do and see there. Books, maps and vintage English clothing sounds like great souvenirs!
We have purchased British Candy bars for our grand kids (Double Decker etc 😊) vinyl records and items from “ thrift” shops ( scarves etc) that support charitable organizations.
Another brilliant video from jess a kind american lady who gives us all advice to be safe on London always show us London what it has always a blessed utuber always
I don’t think twice, my souvenirs are from museum shops: V&A my number one, shop at the National Gallery , Tate Museum, British Museum, Royal Opera House (so special)
I love Fortnum and Mason! I have given things from there as gifts to friends and family several times. When I was there in London I went to the main store on Picadilly Street, the one in St. Pancras Station, and the small one at Heathrow when I was departing. If I could afford it I would buy more stuff from them lol. I would visit the store a lot if I lived in London. I found a store in my city in my country that imports a lot of F&M products for Christmas so I've been able to get some stuff here instead of having to order it from London.
we picked up gifts from the London Museum, Tower Museum, Windsor Castle, and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The London Transport Museum is on our hitlist the next time we're in London.
Hello Jess, I’m a retired New York City Transit Authority Bus Operator worker. How can I get an Underground tee shirt? I love all things connected with public transportation. Where can I get a Long sleeve or short Tee. I’m a big fan of your vids. You are so easy on the eyes. Thank you! Godspeed!
I just purchased my itinerary for my upcoming trip! Your videos have been informative and to the point. I definitely am going to be happy n have a better trip now! Thanks!
Greetings from Singapore. I was finally here in London last month and absolutely love it. So wanted to get myself something that was made in London so I chance upon this brand Bennett Winch and got a wallet from them that says handmade in London.
Borough Market has an incredible spice shop where we found some fantastic finds that are hard to come by back home in the US. There’s a tea shop in Camden that sells a wide selection of Chinese teas called Mei Leaf. City of London Distillery is also a great place to visit for amazing gin to enjoy in house and take home as gifts.
Glad I was right in choosing my souvenirs. I bought tea and biscuits at Whittard, some knick knacks from Portobello road, and books. I had to buy some shirts for my family but I made sure that it was made in Uk. 😅
Love your videos. I just discovered them to get prepared for summer trip to London. Wondering if you have any tips on shipping items back to US. I plan on doing some shopping in London before heading to Scotland and don't want to carry everything with me.
This year, I was the first time in my life in London and I really loved it. Thank you so much for all the good advice in your videos! I can't wait to go back to London one day. For souvenirs, I really enjoyed the Paddington Bear gift shop at paddington station🤩For children and adults who are young at heart😉
I just love your channel. I have so enjoyed watching your vidoes. We leave in two days. Thanks for your fun short videos. Its been so helpful in my plannjng. Beinging my 17 son on our trip of a lifetime together ❤️ 💙 💕
Great video as always. You and your channel played the vital part in our latest London trip planning. ❤ I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and selection in many museums gift shops.
Love this! I will be visiting London after a lot of years and after moving in Japan, and I will not have a lot of time to look for cool shops! I will definitely will go in the print one. Hope you will do others of this souvenirs/shops videos ❤
Really need to check out the transport museum on my next visit, both for the cool souvenir ideas and just because I keep putting it on my "things to do on a rainy day when outdoor stuff was planned/if plans fall through" list of options and then regretting it afterwards when I reach the end of my trip and still haven't been.
Thank you Jess for these amazing tips! I'm coming to London very soon and this helps me at the perfect timing. I know you don't talk about fashion, but I'd love to know where you got your cream coat from because you look stunning in it 😄!
Hey, a nice shot walking across the Norwood Road in Herne Hill. Were you down there recently. My old stomping grounds before moving back to Canada this summer. Miss it a lot
I love London and Chelsea Football Club so much Dear Jess, I love Americans and English People so much. I love all Europeans so much. 🥰😍🤗💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💯💪🙏👍
But but, I want the cheesy London themed souviners lol 😂 We have a travel cupboard where we put small things we've bought where we have travelled. Im looking for a mini Big Ben tower, a red phone booth, maybe a model of Tower Bridge...BUT I will be on the lookout for other non cheesy stuff too. Just has to be stuff we'll be able to get onto a cruise ship without being confiscated

At the moment Tate Modern have a special pop-up shop curated by the Guerilla Girls an anonymous group of feminist, female artists devoted to fighting sexism and racism within the art world. Also the BAPE store in Conduit Street have an exclusive London collection my favourites are the cute pins at about £9 and the cool T-shirts if you can afford them.
The only Thing i realky want to have is something with a tartan pattern. No Scarfs but Shirts or a long Shirt. Is there something for Ladies. Something Scottish. Greetings from Austria.
After Brexit, I'm travelling to London with an empty suitcase so that I can bring back enough F&M tea, biscuits and all other stuff that cannot be easily ordered to EU anymore.

We did the same!! Thoroughly enjoyed their tea & hot chocolate.
I bought their tea and biscuits as well. It was a definite hit at home.
From which store ? Or which area?

Cool tour, would be nice to see the actual prices, affordable can mean different price for different people. Good luck!
"The Five" looks interesting and, Yay!, also available at my local library. Certainly though will visit Brick Lane Bookshop next time I'm in London.
