Not enough words to Express my feelings when listening to this song. This is some kind of universal melancholy, the realization that we come into this world alone and will leave alone. But at the same time, an endless love of life... It is difficult to convey... Thank you for this song!❤️
I love this song. The guitar riff at the end makes me wants to die. Overwhelming writing and performing talent. Also, the bassist looks like Uma Thurman.

"Oats In The Water" Go your way, I'll take the long way 'round, I'll find my own way down, As I should. And hold your gaze There's coke in the Midas touch A joke in the way that we rust, And breathe again. After seeing all the TWD related comments on this song, in different places, I am begining to see where people are coming form when they get annoyed at people saying "x brought me here" where the songs they have listened to are concerned. I am guilty of it myself. It just means that I will be less snarky with them in future. I had that same smile he had when everyone started to come together. This song resonates within you. Big thanks to TWD for bringing Ben to my attention all those years ago when Herschel was carting out those dead bodies.
Ain't it mad how ben Howard is mostly even better if not the same as the track's level when he plays live. Like a few live versions where he didn't quite get it for me, personally (not this one though lol). That's so rare! Most artists these days sheg it live but my man holds it down and commits for the people. One of the most A1 underrated and general A1 musicians going.
