Mary, beautiful horses 🤔🤑 fast, Pocotó, Pocotó, Pocotó 🐎 trem bão. Menina com um cavalo desse eu vou tranquilo pela estrada real 🎩 Girl with a horse like this I go calmly along the royal road, I felt firm
I really enjoyed our walk today. Such diversity of sights and sounds and the marvels of Marple. Aqueduct and Viaduct and lily pad hopping baby ducts. (sic). Thanks Tink!
another lovely walk along the peak forest canal so much to explore my neck off the woods iv been walking this route for 15 years both ways thank you for filming.
Looks like a machete would have been in order to get you through the overgrown trail. So much history and gorgeous sights. Love the canal with the boats , this way of life has always intrigued me, romantic but difficult I’m sure. Once again you’ve captivated me on your adventure and I’m so thankful. 🙏🏻🥰
What a wonderful walk. The canal and locks, the viaduct and aqueduct, the Brabyns Park bridge, all in one day, along with some forest and fields walking. That's a really special area, thank you for showing us.
I follow a couple of Narrow boat channels. I must say it's great to get a walking perspective from the tow path. Great photography and soothing music thank you.
that is sooo much the more diff from the us !! hanf built structures that still stand !!! i seriously doubt muh of any from the present can stand and look so regal. beauty of a walk !
Yes, you put yourself in harms way ☺️ in order to create such wonderful videos for us. 😁. Sorry for any injuries! Do you know if those canal boats use electric motors for their propulsion? Such a tight fit for them. And seeing structures built around 1800 still in use today….and one with the fast moving train across it…is a testament to the craftsmen and designers who built them so many, many years ago.
It was a jungle out there 😂 I believe diesel engines are the most common type of engine used although I know there are some electric ones out there. You are so right about the engineers/architects, they certainly built things to last!
Very interesting. The locks seem too narrow for the boats. A great video. Your local government should be paying you for the publicity that you are doing for them. Good Luck, Rick
Enjoyed this video. I loved the lily pond and moorhens. I used to live in the UK and love the English countryside. Derbyshire and the Peak District are some of my favourite places. It's a pity you aren't interested in wildflowers because you passed some interesting ones (like at 6:53). I will have to check out your other videos.
Very rarely on my daytime walks, only once in the Lake District. However I see them near home on an evening as I know where there is a sett so often stand still for an hour or so and they pass by.
Hi Lisa. Yes I linked it in the video description. I plotted it on OS Maps - here it is for you; osmaps.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/route/4840526/Country-Walking-Peak-Forest-Canal-Marple-Aqueduct-Greater-Manchester
The Marple aqueduct and Marple viaduct are marvels of the early industrial age.
They certainly are!

Well, that is something else than the mountains, but it looks like a nice walk. So funny how you keep following the same boat.

Thank you Richard. It is certainly narrow in places - a few of the boats bumped the sides along the way which I pretended not to see 😆
What a lovely and interesting trail. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful area. 🙏👍
It really is! Thank you Karen 😊

Good morning 😀
I've finally found somebody. Who gets it. 👍
Good Morning 😊
Nice shots of the moorhens in the pond. Do you see badgers other than the ones pictured on signs?

Maybe fodder for a video -- "My Badger Neighbor."
😊💖🐶🐶
😊
Do you have the actual route for this as I can’t find it on the net? Thanks in advance

My patch. Not bad is it?
It’s certainly a lovely area, I went back last month and did the walk again with my Mum who also loved it 😁
