Thanks for pointing out that there are indeed two types of anglers! Us super chilled ones appreciate the publicity ;) I went to school in Sonning, learned to kayak in Sonning and learned to fish on the Thames. So, inevitably I then learnt to kayak fish on the Thames. Lovely to see my old haunts looking so exquisite; St Pat's stream is gorgeous in the summer
Really enjoyed that. Ive paddled it numerous times mostly in canoes but also in my sea kayak. St Patricks stream actually goes into the River Lodden and then back into the Thames. Cheers

Drive through there a sometimes and was thinking of doing some canoeing again haven’t done any since i was a kid and would like to get back into it
Great ! was at Sonning in the floods, a couple of weeks ago. Have to bring my kayak there in the Spring, if i can find a boat launch/slipway close.
You take it easy out there in the wilderness, lookout for them crocks! Ps, is Tesco open? 😂
