Hi, my name is Alex, I'm developer of this game. Thanks for such an objective and accurate review! I agree with everything. The game was created exactly for phones in portrait orientation. I didn't intend to make PC port. That's why everything from controls to graphics so horrible. I'm very surprised to see in your screenshot that on Google Play the game has rating 3.4 😧 since to me they show always 4.4-4.5. Apparently the rating changes very much depending on the region, and I saw overall rating. The game was very popular amongst players, and I received a looooot of requests to continue the story of Jason and Emily. Why "was"? Unfortunately, the Android version was deleted by Google Play week ago, since they removed my entire developer account with all 5 games (for no reason, as it common in Google play. Everything do GP bot, and bot rejects appeals too, no human being support at all). So this port on Steam is so far the only place where the game remained (legally, of course). PS Can you pin this comment please? 🙂
Thanks for taking the time to comment - I'm sorry to hear that your games were removed. Hopefully it doesn't demotivate you from making more games, as I'd love to see what you're able to in the future!
@@Graeldon Yep, I'm switching to Steam entirely. No mobile games anymore 🙂 Thinking about continue development of sci-fi space horror survival "Warped", which I put off year ago.
I'm honestly surprised this game ended up being somewhat decent. When I saw the thumbnail I genuinely thought it was just an asset flip due to appearance alone, so this was a pleasant little surprise. I probably won't go out of my way to play this, but I can respect the developer for actually putting in some amount of effort. This could easily have been far worse.
I think that's a great way to explain the sentiment towards this game: it's not good enough to be actively recommended, but if you happened to stumble upon it, you wouldn't have a bad time
Hi, I'm Alex, developer of this game. "putting in some amount of effort" - if this means about 10 months of hard work 12/7 then I agree 😆 Thanks for comment!
Games like these are why i try to share some my games with my nephew. Cause othewise he'll keep clicking asset stealing ad spamming loot pack selling shovelware even wrose then the game shown here.
(3:36) Actually, looks like your fists have a 0% chance of the perma-kill critical hit. (3:45) Ah, now Lucy appears to be ready to bust some zombie heads! (5:42) Looks like the grammar in this game's writing isn't exactly the best. (9:17) The "You Can Pet The Cat" video end card is blocking your rating for the Steam version of 1 Day Later on the left side, which I assume is a 👎. Anyway, seems like this is one of those games that you'd give a "thumbs sideways" rating to if you could.
Dang end cards ruining outro graphics for everyone =( The writing in the game was okay, I've played through worse for sure. I have considered introducing a "meh" rating, but for now, at least, I want to stick to how Steam allows users to rate games
I wasn’t expecting this game to be somewhat ok. By mobile game standards it isn’t a total sensory mess and the gameplay is decently engaging. However this IS a review based on traditional hardware standards. It’s seems average in my opinion by those standards.
This tutorial kinda reminds me of a tutorial screen I've made for one of my own video games as a joke. Like, I thought that it'd just be extremely hilarious to force such a text & button dump on the screen right at the beginning and this game is doing it unironically. Brilliant.
i was confused by the "18 games recommended" when there's 22 in the playlist, so i checked and found that the triple review of "BHOP simulater" is in the recommended playlist despite all 3 of them not being recommended. there's probably more too in the playlist, but i didn't find them. anyways, the playlist is a bit messed up
The Playlist prioritizes the recommended over not recommended for videos with multiple games. The spreadsheet will show each individual game and rating =)
There is four .Hack videos but only one is acknowledged in the spreadsheet, along with a three episode gap missing, that's probably where it went, this game is also put in the recommended list but not accounted for in the intro tally. tldr Quick maths shows 22 - (3 extra videos + 1 new recommended) = 18 tallied recommended
There ARE some tracks 😀 3 or smth, I don't remember. This is only for support developer, if player want to thank more than buying the game. Actually, only 1 soundtrack bought till now 😂
lol Your reaction to the UI was hilarious! >.< Also, thanks for keeping on with this series! I finally have the time to catch up, and it's so exciting to have so much to watch! ^^b
with 70k games and more coming, do you think you'll ever search for help for these videos? cause even doing one a day it would still take you more than 150 years to review them all

This series will probably take decades as we still aren't to the alphabet yet but hey we would probably find some hidden gems once every blue moon
Roughly 30% have been good so far! We've calculated that it will take around 14 years to reach the first A game
Behold: the best ever shitty mobile game.
so TRUE
