This is a fantastic Jam Track you put together. My only complaint is that it's only two and a half minutes long. I loop it and I jam to this thing and play lead to this over and over. I can come up with endless combinations of Pentatonic and Diatonic scale shapes. This short track when looped, provides you the opportunity to expand, contract, and combine every shape I know. I would have loved to have heard a 20 (or even 10 minute) version of this (since most open mic situations only allow you to play 10 minutes). I'd have to loop this four times which might not work in front of an audience. I'm just curious? Is that the guitar Leslie West played on this song? I'm not even sure what it is. Is that a Gibson Casino? Freaking GREAT Jam track!
The guitar in question is the Gibson Les Paul, which was mahogany. Although I have a mahogany guitar so if you want it to sound like, I guess, the real thing, you’d be better of a Gibson Les Paul. But if you’re looking for a cheaper alternative, I would recommend some PRS mahogany ones, such as the 24, the 22 or the 245.
LESLIE lIKE cLAPTON MIX THE MAJOR AND MINOR SCALES TOGETHER HE PLAYS A LOT ON MAJOR SCALES LIKE JERRY GARCIA NOT TOO MANY ROCK GUITAR PLAYES LIKE MAJOR OVER MINOR

Leslie w. preferred the Gibson Les Paul Junior, might of recorded m.queen with it, not sure
It’s a backing track to the original song. Not a jam track you fool
Very clean and direct cover. No guitar solos. No bgvs either. ❤
This track actually has piano accompanying the guitar during the verse too. Makes the groove much cooler.

This lady she asked me
If I would be her man
You know that I told her
I'd do what I can
To keep her lookin' pretty
Buy her dresses that shine
While the rest of them dudes were makin' their friends
Boy, I beg your pardon, I was loosin' mine
You know she was a dancer

There's a Guitar Backing Track request from a Leslie West & MOUNTAIN fan club member for the MOUNTAIN song... "LONG RED". Can you hook us up?
Thank You! The Original is too sharp to jam with.
On the headstock of a guitar you usually find these things called tuners, I suggest you learn and use 'em..
LW (Backing Track)
Awesome. Thank you.
