Never realized what a difference playing along with a rhythm makes. I'm teaching myself to play and started learning La Grange. I had gotten to the point I knew what to play but needed to actually practice to get the proper beats and hitting he right notes at the right time. First time I tried this and my fingers literally flew like I've not experienced yet. Only rhythm section mind you but I just received a invaluable lesson about practicing and learning.
