We had a fantastic time in Wales !! Really is a hidden little gem. I don't think a lot of Americans make it there as a destination. Being from Texas, our "dialect" was amusing to the Welsh 😎😂😂 !! Would love to visit again for Pints of Brains Beer, and LOTS of Welsh cakes !!
'Yo Chef.. Make it to my city, New York City, and sign up at www.bigapplegreeter.org 4 weeks before arrival ...you'll get a Greeter to show you around, gratis. Be cool.
I had been studied in UWIST, Cardiff during 1980's, it is great that you shown all the beautiful scene and amazing location, I love Cardiff, Wales very much although I am back in Hong Kong, I always remember the happy times when I studied in Cardiff with my Welsh classmates.
3 years late but thank you for doing such a fabulous job of show casing my homeland. It’s a beautiful country that is ignored by many visitors who only appear to go to England and Scotland when visiting the UK
Benny Griffiths Here is another one!!! The first fighter pilot in history was Welsh and played a major part in creating both The Royal Air Force and United States Air Force... ...a Fella by the name of Lionel Rees, winner of the Victoria Cross.
Also the reason America is called America is because of Richard Amerik who made 1 of first maps and not Amerigo because that was his first name only royalty had places named after their first name.
I have thoroughly enjoyed your trip through Wales. Have been a couple places there myself, Conway, Cardiff, Neath, Caernarfon, Snowdonia, Betwys y coed, and a few others. My second husband was from Bangor Wales which is in the North. Loved every minute of it.
thanks for making Wales look like the place it really is,a beautiful country with the right balance of urban and rural areas of great interest.come again!
I’ ve used some of your videos to make reading and listening comprehensions for my students. We love them because they’re funny with tons of information, fabulous places and good ideas. Thanks👏
wow im actually from Cardiff, and youve shown my home in such a way that i really need to go see places which i never knew were there. thank you so much for opening my eyes.
"The world is a cultural mosaic and every single place is a different tile with a slightly different look at the world." Golden words. What a beautiful metaphor!
Da iawn bechgyn. Well done boys.....thanks for showing the world some of our beautiful country, history and many things more. I loved your presentation and style and most of all, how much you liked our little country.
Its great to see travellers from USA coming to Wales, especially the 'diff (we loves the 'diff!). It's all too often overlooked by tourists who tend to do London, Edinburgh and maybe Dublin but rarely Cardiff/Wales. Hwyl fawr boys!
You guys do lovely justice to a Wales experience in addition to providing the importance of a cultural and educational context. I'm currently visiting Cardiff ( American expat , 23 years in Europe) and have delighted in traveling within this beautiful area of the UK. Your piece has given an exclamation point to this delight..thank you.
Thanks for the lovely video(s). As for me the best moment is the whole day in Cardiff. I'm more of a city person. I enjoy the wild and green places but I love the city more. Cardiff is definitely a beautiful city that I hope I can visit one day. Plus, since I'm Arab and love Arab inspired architecture, I have to visit the castle and the Arab room/section. It is just fascinating.
Ahh you didn't talk about how Cardiff is a place of Filming! Doctor Who, the main BBC international programme, is filmed completely throughout Cardiff! Even Sherlock is filmed around Cardiff and many, many films and other programmes! American TV programmes were filmed in my area of Cardiff and recently a Bollywood production was shooting in the city centre... good series thanks so much for exposing Welsh culture to the world
Doctor who is also filmed partly in Newport! Was on my street when matt smith was the doctor, and was also being filmed in a graveyard the day I was visiting it.
I've watched all your videos from Wales. Firstly I'd like to say that I think you did a great job of covering the whole country and you did your research well when choosing a wide range of places and activities. Fair play to you both. It is refreshing to see such a honest, aware and positive video by two travelers in Wales. It was lovely to see a North, Mid, West and South representation. Da iawn bois! ... It was a real shame however that it was really lacking in Welsh people. I know accent isn't always a teller but the only accent I heard which was definitely from Wales was Sian in the Cardiff episode. I must be honest but I think the others were probably English judging by the pronunciation of place names as even someone without an accent but still local would be able to master the local words. No North or West Walian accents unfortunately. Brecon - that guy could have been, it is a bit of a mixed bag and I am no expert on mid Wales. I am only saying because to have heard a broad North, West or South Walian accent would have added to richness of the video you wanted to create. BUT not your fault or problem. You met the right people to show to particular things on those certain days. I want to stress again, NOT YOUR FAULT. I think your videos have been wonderful representations for the rest of the world to see.
Thank you! We believe you have to celebrate each day of life! Never know if you're going to get another one! Thanks for watching, liking and commenting. We appreciate the support. See you in the next video ✌
"Cultural mosaic" is perfect description of y'alls enlightening vlogs to us vicarious vagabuddies here at the office - thank you for the work you put into each one!
Brightened up my day viewing these vlogs from Wales. I liked the Welsh Stonehenge and zip wiring plus activity centre most. The Lake District is more picturesque than Snowdonia but the main castles in North Wales are very impressive indeed.
My favourite moments were the history, castles and books! Even though I'm British, I still really want to travel around Britain and Ireland properly one day. I'm not in a position to do that or any travelling at the moment, so thank you for helping me travel vicariously through your channel!
Watched the whole series on Wales and it's been great. Made me homesick to be honest, and your representation of all parts of Wales was fantastic. Diolch yn fawr iawn!
Love this vlog of Cardiff! I was just there for the first time ever last month. Wonderful weather, warm and friendly people. Will definitely return. Just saw your Hay-on-Wye video as well. It's now on my must-visit list 👍😃
Honestly the cafe could be one of our favorites ever! So cool in there. Great coffee, friendly staff and yummy food! Thanks again for watching and commenting Paola!
vagabrothers My pleasure, it's always good to watch your videos, they are fantastic. Almost forgot, Alex appears for a split second in Sara Dietschy's Playlist Live vlog (time check: 3.36) 👏👍
really appreciated to watch this video. I am in Cardiff currently to get my master degree. After the lockdown, I am planning to explore this city. waiting for more you video!
our new pastor was originally from Cardiff and on our tour of Ireland and UK visited Cardiff last year was fascinated with Cardiff castle and their red dragon flag symbol. We enjoyed our tour on these part of the world thanks for enlightening video !
I was always told growing up that my ancestry was mostly English and Scottish. DNA results show it is actually English and Welsh. I was surprised to realize how little I knew about the land of my ancestors and I am enjoying learning more. Amazing place!
Great video, this was a tiny Glimpse of Cardiff missed so much, it's a shame you didnt tour with locals in each area. In Cardiff you experienced 0.1% onnwhat has to offered so much more to explore. St Fagins Life Welsh Museum, the many arcades and malls, great shopping, the Coal Exchange Hotel at Cardiff Bay (the first million pound cheque signed there), the national sporting stadium with retracting roof, the Llanaff Cathedral, etc
You guys should've definitely gone to the Gower! Its brilliant there!! I go there every sunny day because I live in a nearby town called Llanelli. Glad you enjoyed 😀
+Lexis_Smith thanks Lexis we have so many more adventures coming at you!! Currently planning out trips for the rest of the year. Where would you like us to go make Series??
Love love ❤️ this. Was nice to hear the Welsh accent. Visuals and history lesson amazing as usual guys. Safe travels. Get to Africa soon, loved the Jamaica series.
Great video, thanks! My wife and I are doing a day trip from London to Cardiff later this month. (My wife has Welsh family roots.) Definitely will check out the castle and market!
More UK please! These videos are my absolute fave! If I could explore it for a year I would! LOL and probably wouldn't cover it all! great videos as usually! xo
Honestly Courtney there is so much more of the UK to explore still! We love coming back and checking out a new corner of these gorgeous islands! Cheers!
As much as I love UA-cam I never comment on videos and find myself being very obnoxious while watching videos about things I already know but I discovered your DMZ video and watching your Seoul and Wales videos I have to say- you guys know your stuff really know how to show the beauty of a place! As a South Korean who grew up in Wales and am back living in Seoul, I've loved these videos so much and can't wait for more adventures!
WOW. Cardiff looks so lovely. Beautiful. Thought I'd been there at some time in the past. But now seeing your video. I have to go there. Such a great place. I guess you come off the ferry from France and think you done Cardiff. You show me that I have not. WOW. Loved the hats you tried on. Looked great. Conway castle and Snowdonia were awesome.
Another great video boyos (see what I did there!) I've had many a wonderful day and night in Cardiff, often supporting the rugby team at the Principality Stadium! Glad you enjoyed our little corner of the world. Where next!? James
One minute into the video and now I want avocado-toast. The room at 4:35 - I wonder how long it took to make something that intricately beautiful. THIS was truly my episode though...so many types of gin :) My favorite! You guys are so lucky! What a beautiful meal.
When I watched the video where you went to Conway, I freaked out. THAT was my favorite vlog. Because I've been to the smallest house in Britain, and I've stayed in Conway and explored the castle and other parts of north Wales, and a bit of the mountains....!!!! *dies from excitement* Thank you for this series 🙏🏽❤️
I usually watch travel vlogs for where I'm about to travel but you guys make every place interesting. I like the blend of history and modern day joints. The humor is a plus!! Great job guys!
Wales has been on my to-travel list since I was about 12, and these videos have brought back that desire to go! It looked like such a fun time, and I hope I can hit up some of those places, too, some day :) Thanks for the videos!
I read a book series that took place in Wales, and it sounded so beautiful and mystical! I was also obsessed with dragons at the time, so I thought the Welsh flag was the coolest thing ever.
My city! And yet I've done NOTHING you did in this video. haha. favourite blog was the Snowdonia one. Can't wait to go there this Summer with my doggo!
Good work! Honest, accurate, informative, funny, charming series. A vagabuddy I shall be! Your Cardiff night out was far more tame than I ever remember mind.
Hey, we've only just discovered your channel!!!! Love your style, and Cardiff really is amazing. We're shooting some of the best spots right now, and are always looking for inspiration from others. Great vid guys =)
A place that has it all. Small enough to get to know well and big enough to have everything you need. One of the best cities in the world
I'm from Cardiff and it's been great to see the way you've shown Wales you've done a great job! :)
Thank you so much Owen!!! Really loved Wales!
Would've loved to go there especially for the Champions League final :c And it's beautiful too !
OwenDawes I'm from Cardiff too :)
Would you reconsider coming back to Wales?
Good to see Wales getting recognition. As another Cardiffian , thank you. The UK really is such a diverse place.

Come on over and I will buy you a pint , or maybe two ! :-)
I hear brains brewery is up for sale very sad really
I just got back from over there. The people were so friendly and i really enjoyed the baked Stones. They were delicious.
Been there, liked it a lot!!
Thank you guys. Its nice to see Wales shown in such a positive way.
Oh man I miss Cardiff! I was there for my undergrad degree and it's one of my favourite places in the UK! 😍
I had been studied in UWIST, Cardiff during 1980's, it is great that you shown all the beautiful scene and amazing location, I love Cardiff, Wales very much although I am back in Hong Kong, I always remember the happy times when I studied in Cardiff with my Welsh classmates.

Nerdy history fact for you - the first ever million pound cheque in history was written in Cardiff's coal exchange! Hope you guys enjoyed Wales :)
Benny Griffiths Also, the first female in American history to hold public office was Welsh - Martha Hughes Cannon.
Learn something new every day!
Wow that's pretty heavy. Must have taken a crane. Lol, just joking. I know a pound in England is money not weight.
I totally love how green the whole of the United Kingdom is, it's so totally different than the golden hills of California!
Eh... it's not super green, we're a very densely populated country.
A lot of wales is quite remote though, very green valleys and mountains and hills.
Not to mention, little trees.
@@striderwhiston9897 Interesting, nice that i hear from someone from wales
Well the california is like 10 times bigger than the whole UK 😂
It totally is! I had the same thought driving down route 1 after living in Scotland
Flying out to Cardiff tomorrow night from the states! First stop, Coffee BARKER!
Henry Garcia How was it?
Henry Garcia I live in Cardiff :))
How was your trip?

wow im actually from Cardiff, and youve shown my home in such a way that i really need to go see places which i never knew were there. thank you so much for opening my eyes.
I made it to Cardiff! Brooklyn NY in the house! I loved it there.
This series really opened my eyes for Wales and the UK as a whole. Thanks for sharing!
Never new ..Wales was so picturesque!! thanks!
"The world is a cultural mosaic and every single place is a different tile with a slightly different look at the world."

Da iawn bechgyn. Well done boys.....thanks for showing the world some of our beautiful country, history and many things more. I loved your presentation and style and most of all, how much you liked our little country.
Great series in Wales - as someone who lives in Cardiff it was good to see how you enjoyed the different aspects of the scenery and culture of Wales.
You guys forgets Roath Park lake, Canton area and Millennium Stadium and night partying.... ha ha ha... Cool for visiting Cardiff!
Its great to see travellers from USA coming to Wales, especially the 'diff (we loves the 'diff!). It's all too often overlooked by tourists who tend to do London, Edinburgh and maybe Dublin but rarely Cardiff/Wales. Hwyl fawr boys!

Wow Bollywood really? I moved from Grangetown a couple years ago used to see them filming a lot mostly doctor who, casualty etc.
Amazing to see you both in the city. This video was amazing too. Keep up the good work Alex and Marko.
Thank you Guys for visiting Wales and my City,Cardiff.
