    He’s spot on. Shoulders can handle so much volume. They’re not designed for super heavy weights so if you really want to punish them you throw in supersets and drop sets. That will keep your shoulders safe and DESTROY the muscle 💯

      @realHAMPTERCEO Рік тому +1

      The thing is this can't be done by natties that have not been training for like 10 years or train for only strength purposes. He means that go till absolute failure is achieved and a lot of people to go till failure dont go till absolute failure like what he meant. Recovering from actual absolute failure takes about 5-6 days and a proper workout split for someone training for bodybuilding purposes will give at least that much rest time before hitting shoulders again. So the days in between that will have training body parts that dont need involvement of the shoulders (as much) for the exercises such as legs, chest, midsection etc

The pump will be crazy. Straight sets of 8-12 with the same weight don't work for everyone. Try and do what works for your body.

    “Shock the shoulders”
    *Has my workout partner taze my shoulders*

  • @miracleman75

    I think rest is the key. I look pretty good right now at a time where I shouldn’t. I’m older, I work out less and am partially paralyzed from a stroke. The stroke recovery during therapy really taught me to balance proper rest with working out. Heck, I used to need a nap after squeezing a sponge for a workout.
    Now I will take extra days between workouts, but when I’m in the gym I have do much strength compared to when I was younger and going everyday to the gym. That was too much.
    I also eat 10 times better and walk a lot. Routine and consistency are also key.

    Shoulders has always been the most mysterious part of my body, i dont feel them like other muscles, and with them i should always follow strict execution and thats why i dont like to train them that much. May i really shouldnt go so heavy ive already switched db to cable on lat raises and im thinking to switch bb to db on seated press because they really give more stretch more contraction, need to worknupon my shoulders and hopefully i have big rear delts 'cause i stress them 2 times a week on back and on shoulder day and since my pull ups and back are incredible rear delts develope really really well

      The Arnold press is bs. Everyone knows it. Yeah he had great shoulders but not because of this exercise, he would have even better shoulders if he sticked to regular db presses

    If your natty you can only be training this intensely once a month , yes train shoulder 3x a week but not to these extremes

    • @xyz-jl7il
      @xyz-jl7il Рік тому

      The reason bodybuilders workout for so long and so intensely is because they take gear. Their body will regenerate soo much faster compared to someone who is natural.
      If you want to get big you should definitely train hard, but 3 sets to failure is most of the time enough. You don't need to do 12 dropsets for your shoulders, that's absurd. All you really need (for naturals) is to be consistent, train hard, and ensure you eat enough.

    This was not done on every set. And it was not done at every workout. They only tell you their intensity workouts. This is where I made my mistake when I was a young guy. I tried to do the Arnold workout every time I worked out, on every set. Then there's the other element that helps you heal from the intense workout ... steroids. If you are natural or on TRT, intense workouts should be scheduled into a long workout plan. You have to have de-load days and days that you don't go to failure, as well as intensity days.
