Just one suggestion, if I may: please, please, PLEASE wear protective riding gear, especially on the bitumen/black-top. A few bucks on gloves, jacket, pants and proper boots will save you a lifetime of regret :)

I heard there was a blocked off second gear fitted but I never had a look inside the casing of the one I had in!
They just have a high and low gear that’s it not 1st or second

Liked the vid but I have a question every time I start my cr85 it want to shut when it's cold and Charlie's dose t I'm not sure what it could be I would appreciate it if you told what you think it is 😊
Have you tried cleaning the carburetor? Also I would check the reed valves that are in front of the carburetor attached to the motor. Sometimes those can be worn out causing those problems.

You Can Make These Way Faster by removing a restrictor jet in the carb and i drilled out the holes on my air box and it hauls ass wayyy more.

You should hook up the 2nd gear in it. Look up on UA-cam how to do it. I had one when I was a kid and that thing has a 2nd gear in the transmission but it's got to be hooked up. Check it out...

I miss my old xr50 I took some screw out of the throttle then it went back further i also took the silencer off of the exhaust so it was louder it had like a top speed if about 45 it was so fun
when I was a kid my best friend had the same one lol, it was the toughest thing we ever saw, an tucked down like your son did we could get 34 35 out of his lol, just cookin for a jr xD

@@cockroach5717 I agree with you cause I'm 14, mechanic and I own a pw50 since I was 13 i was happy and it does have 1 speed, but just got a yz85 yesterday and I'm very happy
The little bikes are fun to play around on and do little pit bike tracks and small wheelies. They might be small but they do have some big amounts of power:) Good vid though and keep it up.
Yeah I'm thinking about buying another little bike so we can race around the yard on them. I think it would be pretty fun!

Thanks i want to take it to my shop to clean the carb but they messed up my kx65 and didn't jet it so now it runs lean so I will clean it myself
Yeah I made a video a while ago showing how to properly clean the carburetor if you want to check it out. Good luck with it, hopefully the carb clean fixes it.

Also how is youres so slow i hit 40 on mine but i removed a Extra Jet in the carb that is a restrictor Drilled a bit of the exhaust on the back and driled out the wholes big on the air box
I bought a 94 jr50 and running regular gas in the tank and just filled the motor up a little with oil

@2vintage I have the same bike as your jr50 and it has a first and second gear, if you click up from neutral that is first gear and than all the way down is second
Wow that's pretty cool. Pretty sure mine was a one speed.
They all have a2 speed transmission- 1st gear on the us version of this bike is locked out from the factory - its an easy simple mod if you remove the clutch side cover and use a dremel to open the keyway. Tons of info on line about how to do it. Really makes these bike alot more fun to ride and take off twice as fast.

If It Boggs Out You Have No Gas Or If You Do Not Use Premium Fuel It Runs Bad It Used To Be A ace Bike Which Seems To Be The Problem that i had at one point and than if you don't give it gas while taking a turn it will turn off.

No it doesnt than the bike has an issue when mine hits the powerband Its Like twice the power
its got 1 gear because its to get junior riders used to using gears early on , not weird just common sense .....

Joe Matthew your kx65 has a dirty power band and screams alot of bikes like these have a trash power band and ride like a slow acceleration 4 stroke
It's definitely a 2 stroke youngin if you ride a ktm 65 then you should know the sound of a 2 stroke bike!

That is the same speed as a pw 80 both jr50 and pw80 could smoke the pw50 be the Jr and pw80 are the same speed. Just saying.
