- Vacation time for farmers? Almost unheard of but it’s true I’m going to be gone for an entire week🥺😃 such mixed emotions! Help me get the barn in tip top shape for Brent and his brother who are kind enough to make this trip possible for me!!
She's such a good, hard-working woman, taking pride in her work, caring about the livestock!
I wish you a great vacation Taylor. It's about time you had some R&R. The girls will miss you no doubt and so will we but you have earned it big time. Have fun and see you soon!
I love listening to the cows munch their hay its a rewarding sound! Honestly they should make a sleep aid cd of that sound! It would be better then wind , storms or water right! More relaxing by far right?

Ha!..cleaning that calf pen brought back memories. Words we hated, when my father would say "time to clean the box stalls, boys". My brother and I would each get one to clean out. Over the weeks we would use the leftover Manger hay to bed them down, so after a few weeks, yup, 8-10" of packed hay and manure. OMG, what a PITA to break that stuff loose with the pitch fork and load it in the spreader. Hahaha. Great memories.......not!

Lol, you always bring a smile to me with your self-awareness and depreciation. Hope you'll never change. Also, it shows wonderful character to do all you can to help lessen the burden of your absence. In our modern world, the majority of people would just walk away and not care. So Thank-you, you're an amazing young lady and the world would be a much better place with people like you. Glad you can take a vacation, its needed, even for farmers. I think you will miss her bi-weekly postings as much as I will miss them. Grew up on a dairy farm more than 60 years ago. Spent 18 years milking, feeding, cleaning cows as well as working the fields, doing hay, etc... Taylor brings back those wonderful memories and even my wife (of 43 years) enjoys watching Tay's videos. I hope that thousands of additional people will discover her channel. Keep up the wonderful post Tay, all your fans just love You and Your daily task

Enjoy your time off and free your mind as much as you can. Here, from november to late april we take 1 week-end off every two weeks. We only come to the farm for A.I breeding or emergencies. That helps a lot to rest our broken bodies hahahaha . Great video as always Taylor

Cows are mostly a creature of habit. They know their spot in the heard, favorite milking spot. Know feeding time, milking time and the person milking and feeding them. Lovable.

Flirst...I think you are doing a great job/service by taking people behind the scenes and showing what it takes to run a farm. When I was farming we called cow dung "manure" you call it crap. When you refer to heifer cages we called them "box stalls". I guess it is what you are used to. Again, great job

how many cows will the barn hold? i know what you mean its hard to leave without thinking about the farm i go on vaca for 3 days every year but still think about home pen pack is the worse to handle do everything not to have to deal with it hope you have a good vacation!

UA-camrs! Always going for the dramatics!! Scared me when you said you were leaving the farm!! Whoa girl!! Have a great vacation. It will be there when you get back! Cows eat that meal in the gutter because cows are "contrary". You know people who always say or do things that are opposite of polite and friendly? Cows do that too. Not all but some. Give it to them, they turn their noses up, but put it where they aren't supposed to get it, they're right there pawing for it! Great video Tay!
