- What can a California girl do with a few dusty acres of land in rural Nebraska? So Kennedy Blaine wonders after she inherits a ranch in the small, western-style town of Valentine, Nebraska. I enjoy the simplicity of the story line even if a bit predictable, the acting was well crafted. Beautiful scenery and landscape plus excellent filming. Very easy viewing and I'd recommend it.

Loved the movie! History is so important especially when it is 100's of years old. One should never sell off such family properties - love for the land is a must to keep one's dignity and heritage! Money is a servant not one's master.
I used to love watching Bionic woman when I was a kid.And to see Lindsay Wagner in this movie brought back so many memories.And she is still beautiful as ever.And loved the movie too.

But yes, it is very nice to own or live on such a ranch.

Diogo is such an incredible actor. You all know him because he played Jesus before doing this movie. But I've known is work all my life. We are about the same age. He is a famous portuguese actor. Nowadays he's working mainly back home. But I'm portuguese so I'm lucky to be able to see him on the big screen whenever I want. He is a true pearl.
