- In this video, we visit a new exhibition, Nick Cave: Forothermore, at the Guggenheim Museum. The show covers the entire breadth of the artist’s career and features sculpture, installation, video, and rarely-seen early works. The title is a neologism, a new word that reflects the artist’s lifelong commitment to creating space for those who feel marginalized by dominant society and culture-especially working-class communities and queer people of color.

Item at 4.46 mins is NOT a 'spitoon '(thankfully) . It is part of an antique cast iron money box. These are available to buy online. I bought one myself for the same reason as Nick Cave.

They point out that the initial purpose of the object is not always immediately apparent. Thankfully nowadays, we even cannot imagine that some objects were used in such an offensive (cruel) way.
