That's the way it works, TONY.
If you're interacting with the law, you have 2 choices. The easy way and the hard way. You're going to have your day in court, so it's best to comply with the officers. 99 percent of the population understands that. People who don't want to accept it tend to be those with multiple warrants or extensive records.

In NC the woman's husband is the child's legal father. It sounds silly but it's the law here.
The husband can actually get custody of another mans child. So yeah, if her husband has legal rights to the child her husband should have legal responsibilities too.

She came to me and asked if I would donate. A family lawyer wrote up a contract that absolved me of any legal and personal responsibilities. So she used my donation and had a child. Three months later she wanted to do it again, so the contract was amended and she had a second child that was boron a year and five days after her sister. I would ask your definition of ‘ a lot of times’?
Does it happen? Of course. It’s the ‘a lot of times’ I think I disagree with. Unluckily there’s no way to know exactly how often it happens. That it happens at all is a tragedy. But,, in my limited experience, I was a paralegal and worked for a few Family/Divorce lawyers for some time, it was the exception not the rule.
I remember one time working for a female attorney who went off on her client because she’d made an off handed remark about what she was going to do with the back payments she was owed. That lawyer laced into her,,, told her up front that money was to support the child not her., told her to get a damn job! Told the mom if she found out she wasn’t taking care of that child she’d call CPS. Now,, I think unless it’s there’s abuse involved her own lawyer can’t turn her in. But the client was young and the lawyer took a risk. Don’t know that it worked but I understood why she did it.
So I acknowledge it happens. However in a case like this,, less than 200$ a month is not enough to support the child much less the mother. Statistically speaking, it used to be after a divorce women and children ended up in poverty at an astounding rate. Something like 2/3’s, whereas in a few years his standard of living went back to normal or above. One time all she was asking for was for him to pay half the childcare costs. He refused,, and trust me he could afford it. He just didn’t want to pay her or his two kids a dime. He tried every way to delay and drag it out in an effort to bleed dry her resources. After dealing with his behavior that lawyer took a big cut in salary to help her. Not common ,,but it does happen.
I worked, towards the end of my career, at a firm that helped fathers only. So,, I’ve seen both sides. However,, My limited experience saw that when the kids were eating ramen it was because she made just enough to not qualify for assistance and he was barely helping,,if at all. That meant mom was eating ramen too,,,,or not eating.
I’m not in anyway disagreeing that it happens,, but I don’t think it’s,, a lot of times. I think it’s closer to sometimes.
Any time it happens,,it’s wrong and needs to be fixed.

I don't think you are the arbiter of what is an appropriate use of funds. As far as I can tell there are no rules or laws dictating how cs money _must_ be spent.
I am not saying I completely agree with it or anything but if the court makes a ruling you really shouldn't be able to wriggle your way out of it solely to punish the mother or the child. He made his own situation worse purely out of spite and in doing so also made the life of the mother and child worse too. That is just bad parenting.

Wow, just wow. I absolutely love this judge. Every time he got on his Sovcit soapbox she interrupted him and set him straight on exactly what the definitions of the words he was using were. ROFLMAO. You don't pay, we will take your freedom away. Can't find a job because you have a felony, massive BS. Try McDonald's, Arby's, etc. until you find something better. You participated in making the children, be a father and pay your damn child support. 😒
    LOVE THE FEZ PCB!💜💓💗

I like how you can see the child's mother thinking, "How on earth did I pick this guy?" He sure does have all the Sovcidiot buzzwords memorized, even if he doesn't know what they mean or when to use them.

Right??? Like $151 is peanuts in the context of child support. So many dead beats would love to only be on the hook for $151
