Sounds like there's a helluva lot of things she shoulda been charged with but he's either too beaten down to go through with it and has fallen in to apathy, or doesn't realise he can do that, or doesn't want to tangle with the police. He said that he was in jail for booze and then went to rehab, so he might get shredding in court.

@@devangoad One of the first steps toward diagnosis for an issue like this is getting seen by a doctor for it. Do you have insurance and a PCP (Primary Care Provider)? You should be able to meet up with your primary care and get a referral to help toward diagnosis.
If you want to try more directly, I believe you should be able to find a therapist or psychologist to check in with. It'd be especially good if you can confirm that they are able to diagnosis you beforehand. Just make sure they accept your insurance as that'd help you with payments (most insurances have a site to help look this kind of information up).
If you're unsure if your insurance will help cover it, you can call their number to figure things out more and see what steps you need to do to ensure that insurance will pay for your visits.

People don’t sign exactly the same every time, but they have individual habits. Cursive isn’t used as much anymore, and it was hard to copy someone’s individual writing. The closer the signiture is to printing, the easier it is to copy. That woman was not at all credible, and the judge knew fake tears when she heard them. What a nasty piece of work. I pity the kids.

He catches her, and in the ensuing fight he gets kicked out of his own house. She then lives in the house that hubby is paying for, with the dude she was cheating on him with, while destroying a bunch of his stuff for the fun of it. She then forges his signature on a document so that she will get the proceeds of the sale of the house that she has never paid a dime for, an attempted theft by fraud of approximately $65K. I didn't catch which state this was in, but in my state that would be considered grand larceny, a felony.

When he dumped me after 39 years of marriage, to run to another country with one of his girlfriends, I went to my bank for the money in my personal savings account, $5K, and he had taken it. His name was nowhere on it. He was good at talking people into going along with what he wanted. When he left town at last, he had all utilities turned off without telling me. I was living in what was my house, and someone phoned me to alert me. Because they were suspicious of him. No remorse, of course.

It sucks that someone you loved and who you thought loved you will harm you in this way and try to harm you even more with the legal system. I went through similar with my ex husband. Whatever the reason we split I loved him. He had his issues but I loved him. I never would have tried to get him put in jail or knowingly destroy stuff that is either expensive or can’t otherwise be replaced due to sentimentality or finances. But he did so to me.
I feel for this man. I can tell exactly what type of person she is. She is the type to get a whole gaggle of flying monkeys and tell them fake horror stories to try and get a while group together to terrorize someone they don’t like anymore. Love to them is like a switch. It can be turned off in an instant. I’m glad the judge didn’t fall for it.
And she tried to say she had nowhere to go. What? I’ve been homeless. I know what it’s like to truly have nowhere to go. She couldn’t sit in her car and watch UA-cam on your phone for two hours in some parking lot? Or go sit in a friend’s car if she doesn’t own one? Or just sit on the ground far outside the property with some videos? If she were truly acting in good faith and trying to resolve this as fair as possible she would have figured something out. Or at least stayed away form him. Something to show she was trying. Anything. I bet this was a theme in their marriage too. Making up excuses why she couldn’t try.

But she didn't account for the wife having a protection order against him and he spent time in jail AND it takes time to get a lawyer and court dates etc to force someone to do what they've been ordered to do.

This was the correct decision and I am glad that the judge saw through her lies and tears. The judge DID bring up that inconsistency, but in a very Petty Crocker sort of way by really emphasizing that Tim could take all day to get his belongings because the psycho had originally said was already moved out. I like this judge’s style.

yah, if he did anything but leave the cops would be called instantly, he'd get jailed, and she would inevitably use that as even more ammo against him in the divorce proceedings which would take it as gospel.

That's not what she was getting at. He should've resolved this issue shortly after the divorce started and he moved out, or he should've called the police and said he had a court order to get his things, contingent on her being gone, and she's not fulfilling her side of the problem. He just left.

I don't think this man has fully realized just how lucky he is to have a Judge like this.
He could easily have lost everything.
As for the ex - not quite a master manipulator. Presents as a demure, timid housewife, to victim and then her true self starts to show.
Personally, I find it disgusting that some women will use their gender and kids to try and get what they want.

    • @jessicaarmstrong5035

100%. That's an indictable crime. It's easily verifiable that she forged the signatures. All they need is a handwriting expert. And considering that even a judge, a non-expert, can see that the names are similarly written, a handwriting expert will be able to verify it. The husband knows because he knows that he didn't sign it. All he has to do is get someone to prove it to the courts. If I were the husband, I'd be in touch with the police department. He has actual evidence. Because the courts have forms that were signed by him and they can plainly see that the signatures on those papers don't match the other ones.
