Thank you for this analysis! It's so well done. I'd never heard of the Virgin's Promise and journey before, it fits so well with Thelma's journey. Will check out the book.
Thanks for watching, Lisa!
I love how in the beginning of the film there is always water around the car, then at the end bone dry dessert and dust everywhere
Interesting observation!
This is why you need to watch the movie🤯
How many women can relate to Thelma & Louise! We all have a little of these ladies in us all!
One of my favourite movies of all time ❤♥🖤💜🖤♥❤
Mine, too!

I just watched the film and was absolutely amazed by it. The entire time I was wanting to read the screenplay. Absolutely phenomenal film by every aspect!
I'm a simple man, I see a video from Script Sleuth I smash the like button
I'd like to see an analysis of Fried Green Tomatoes (1991) which won the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay.
Interesting. Thanks for the suggestion!
A big thank-you to all my patrons and channel members! You guys rock!

@@ScriptSleuth Just subscribed for now, but I will change this soon.
Excellent tutorial!
I saw this film four or five times when it was still at film festivals and in the cinemas. I plan to revisit this film again tonight watching it on DVD. I’ve forgotten what a brilliantly layered film it is. Very cool art direction and production design and the cinematography and editing are pretty impressive. Great thanks to Ridley Scott!
And of course really great casting and locations, great props, perfect wardrobe choices etc.
Raise stakes by eliminating time and options ....great tip 🔥💥✨
Thank you script sleuth
Thanks for watching, Sai!

this is amazing! made love this movie 100x more!
Awesome! I really love the movie, too.
great breakdown!
Great movie!!! Plus, the 66 Ford T Bird is one of my favorite cars so all upside here for me.....
You're right, it's a sweet car! 😎
Great timing, I've been reading the screenplay these last couple of days.
Can you do "Sorry We Missed You" next ? It felt to me as if the screenwriter throws us into Act 2 from the very first scene, then kept telling us the Act 1 information through exposition. I've only seen it once though, so I might be wrong regarding the structure. Keep up the great work, these videos are truly priceless!
Thanks for the comment!
Awesome stuff!
Thanks, Ross! Hope you're doing well.

Thanks for watching!
Double Jeopardy. It's twisty and fantastic.
Noted!
These are such good videos, well done, and thankyou. It'd be great to see what you think of Rogue One... it's flawed but a fascinating film in many ways.
Thanks for the nice comment! 🙂

@@ScriptSleuth Thanks for hearting my comment! I really love your channel and its helped me a lot writing my own screenplay (because it was quarantine I just thought I'd write one) and I also think that your channel deserves way more subs because of the consistency of quality and the level of thought put into each video! Thanks again!
Amo !❤❤
Encantado, Elizabeth!
Thelma & Louise is the Butch Cassidy of it's time
I have the DVD and it's a great movie.
I miss DVDs and extra stuff like commentaries.
could you do an analysis of The Andromeda Strain 1971, the best sci-fi film in my opinion?
Whats about the car?? Where is it now?
do american ultra
Haven't seen that one. I'll have to check it out!
I once wrote a paper on how Thelma and Louise possess polarities from each other and how crime enacts changes to those discrepancies and bring the characters even closer together! I have a video of my own about the character of James from the show The End of the F***ing World; if this essay interests you, I'd be much grateful if you could check it out and leave your thoughts!!!
Love the video, by the way, I love the craft of story construction and screenwriting is certainly one of those forms of craft that I enjoy!
I’d be keen to see the one on James!

That's definitely on the to-do list!
I love Harvey Keitel but he is channeling Tommy Lee Jones in this movie.
Like Tommy Lee Jones in The Fugitive?
@@ScriptSleuth Exactly, and I know that movie came out later :)
@@svenleeuwen Even though it's completely illogical, I know what you mean! 🙂
Put The Virgins Promise on my list to read. I love the hero quest movies (LOTR, etc) but dislike how women are now shoehorned into acting like men. The female evolution is different. Thank you!
Thanks for tuning in!
