Her name is Carol Kane, her past credits include Latka Gravis wife Simka on the iconic comedy series Taxi, and a role in the movie, The Princess Bride!
Nichelle Nichols, is the first actress to play Lt Uhura in Star Trek: The Original Series. (1966 - 69) "Uhura" comes from the swahili word uhuru, meaning freedom.
The girls name you looking for is Carol cane comedic actress she was in taxi. She played like his wife for Lloyd‘s wife in taxi. She was also in princess bride with Billy Crystal. It’s so much fun to watch this show with you!

I'm a bit surprised they did an episode that basically didn't have Pike or Una at all for the first episode of the season. Did I forget something cause why do they have a temporary super soldier serum that allows a doctor and a nurse to defeat a dozen Klingons and how did we almost lose the war when we had this?
Yes, Spock had the lute in TOS. There was an episode (Charlie X) where Spock was playing and Uhura sang to the music he played. He also played in the episode with the space hippies. Now we know how he got the instrument.
Babs Olusanmokun got to show off some of his Black belt skills. Carol Kane has a pretty expansive career as mostly a supporting actress in movies and TV. Her Filmography list is huge. And I think a big part of it is she is just a fun amazing person people want to work with her. "Scrooged" is one of my favorite movie roles. She guest starred in the TV serial "Taxi" opposite the famous Andy Kaufman. She held her own beside his unique character playing his wife. More recent long role was on the "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" She did some stage acting as well, was on "Wicked" for a huge part of its run. The serum is likely a a relic of the War, which we really don't cover much in any of the series. Makes sense they'd make one to fight off Klingons if boarded. Discovery is at the beginning and end of it. Enterprise was gone on its exploration mission during most of it and only came back after. Blood does start to boil but animals have survived up to 4 minutes of vacuum with real world tech. So shouldn't be too hard for Star Trek level to repair any damage.
BTW, La'An may be descended from augments, but it's been over 200 years, any augment advantages should be pretty much bred out. Unless her family deliberately bred with other augment families.
M'Benga absolutely snuck into Spock's quarters and took his lute so he could give it to him here. LOL
Lol.

She was planning to leave after Season 1 of TOS, but was persuaded to stay by none other than Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

I do admit the last thing I expected was for SPOCK to steal the Enterprise. I could believe Kirk doing something like that (and he did).
You overheard that they built that ship in that cave from scratch.
New sub...really enjoyed your reaction!
Great reaction! It is very interesting to see your full detailed reaction to the trilogy of Star Wars. This is a cool immortal classic 👍🔥
Nichelle Nichols played the original lieutenant o'hora

No, not Garrett Wong, but that would be nice
So the Enterprise has been stolen before.
