I like how Wendy basically confirmed that anyone can talk to a dragon but acnologia was too ignorant to give a f*ck
I liked Acnologia as a character better when he was just this mysterious powerful dragon. He didn't need a human form to be interesting. It's more unique for the villain to be a freakin dragon than a generic evil human who has special transformation abilities.
Ikr. Though he's not technically evil, just another villain with sad background.
@@user-wu8qc9bb3e yeah, they didn’t really write his backstory as a human that well. What’ve thought just being an evil dragon would’ve been a good finale boss for the series since dragons are the most powerful creatures.

Agreed. Many fans of fairy tail agree that the ending was more than disappointing. I think making Natsu the focus point of the ending could have been done right, but tying him to Zeref right at the end was too much. They could have made him the ultimate dragon slayer to defeat Acnologia or something which is kind of what happened anyway. Acnologia was way better when he was just an unbeatable force of destruction and Zeref needed and alternate story in my opinion.
Then they gave another stupid sad generic backstory to try and make him "sympathetic".
Probably one of, if not the best moment in fairy tail for me. They just finished up with a whole arc dealing with grimoire heart. Each fight pushing them to reach new heights/levels of power and testing them emotional, along with part of the guild needed to just take out Hades. After all that, when they think everything is finally over, here comes the literal apocalypse dragon. The whole scene feels hopeless. They witness it's power and can't even fathom that much power, let alone how to stop it. Makarov makes a desperate attempt to fend it off as he begs/please with his children to run and don't look back. Reluctantly, they eventually do, only to turn around and combine all their magical attacks into one attack in a potential attempt to stop it, but for a seemingly triumphant the moment is, it's ultimately in vain. So in their final moments, they accept their fate and stand together holding hands united as a family. They stand strong not letting themselves be influenced by fear nor show any fear to their maker, and face their death headon, at least happy that they can die together/as a family. Considering arguably Fairy Tail's biggest theme is Family, the power of it, and what it truly means to be family, I think this scene represents/epitomizes those themes better than any other point in the series. I'm sure many would disagree with me, but I would have been pretty content if this is where the series ended or at least where the main cast died. Yeah, it's probably too dark for something like Fairy tail, but likewise I think it hits it's main themes so hard here, that fairy Tail's message would have been fully gotten across to the audience, and it ending on where it's themes/message hit the hardest, for me at least.

Makes you wonder, if Mavis hadn't been there, Acnologia would've ended the whole fucking series right then and there. That's why Acnologia is my favorite character in Fairy Tail, he doesn't take shit from anybody. He basically said 'Fuck your power of friendship'.

Fairy Tail is Unique - This is the only anime, that makes me feel shivers crawling up my spine every time Erza, Natsu, Lucy or any other character jumps into the battle! It has a story-line like no other and I am so happy, I came across the anime itself! :))
Also, this AMV is so great - I simply love it and I actually cried - it forces you to feel for the characters :)

Is it just me, or is Zeref afraid of Acnologia? Considering the fact that he downright admits that he stands no chance against him without Fairy Heart.
Considering that he still doesn't go to fight Acnologia with his powerup and instead goes to kill him before he became so powerful, hinting that White Wizard Zeref is still far weaker than Acnologia, it would make sense for him to be afraid, hell I don't blame him. I'd be piss my pants scared of him too.

I don't think zeref was afraid of acnologia. He was wondering in front of acnologia whether he should fight acnologia with humans or humans with acnologia. Instead he decides to fight both of them together to with fairy heart in order to get to mavis, the only one who had the ability to kill him. And in order for that to happen, she had to fall in love with zeref.

That was the entire point of going back in time and killing him before he became so powerful.

Considering he sent his own creation along with 4 other dragon slayers, with the dragons inside them, into the future where they’re would be more magic for them to rely on, Id say yes Zeref was afraid of Acnologia

Ye but they use the power of friendship to win every single fight. It would be better if they lost sometimes (especially erza) cuz it is the exact same thing every time. Also a main Character death would have been good. To make things more emotional.

the coloring here is better but the fighting animation is shit while the new one is more like the manga and has better fighting animation but bad coloring
taha ghassan I disagree with what you said about the animations. In Acnologia & Mard Geer vs Natsu & Igneel fight were some terrible animations that completely destroyed my immersion there (never happened in the old Fairy Tail episodes). And that is just one example... Ofc there were sometimes ok and good animations but most of the time they sucked in my opinion. I hope they will make things better when the next season of Fairy Tail comes out.

the 3 fairy spells are fairy law(light that defeats all enemies), fairy glitter(ultimate destoying beam) and fairy heart (unlimited magic power). just fairy heart could had HELPED them with magic power support but not save them ^^
