That's totally fascinating That you can put it down so close to the hangar. I know it's a helicopter but it's still fascinating to us non-helicopter folks.
Thank you so much for sharing! At home here in the Netherlands behind my computer getting ready for yet another boring day doing administrative tasks, but hey, this little flight just brought the first smile of the day to my face!!
"bit of a pansy apparently" haha. Loved watching, wish I could fly a helo. Enjoyed flying in them as part of my job in VIetnam years ago... lot warmer to be sure!
Nice helicopter Matt. Last time I saw you, you had GBLU Jet Exec and had a flame out just North of Calgary! I help you pull it on a trailer for the ride home. That was many years ago... Enjoy the 407.
@@matthaasen Yes, All is well here, especially when I have a chance to get some stick time on a helicopter! I was lucky enough to get some time on a AS350 B2 last summer, What a treat... A friend of mine purchased a brand new RotorX kit , we are hoping for the best for the factory! I just found your channel by chance, nice way to document your flying experiences, Thanks for sharing.
That’s a tough question. I started as a pilot mechanic many years ago. That dream slowly dwindled when I didn’t find the job as glamorous as I had imagined. I then started in construction and eventually bought the company. I am fortunate to love my work and the benefits it brought me. I use the helicopter almost exclusively for my work in looking at projects, attend auctions and business development. I think first you should pick a career that you enjoy, then work your butt off at it. That’s the best advice I have. Best of luck.
Yes, I have a cable from my Lightspeed Zulu headset connected to the GoPro through a GoPro Mic adapter or Media mod. It took some time to figure out, but I think I have it mastered now.
I don't love the guy either but this is 99.999% aviation content and the remainder is Carlson content. Why even comment? Just don't let the door hit you.
