- Join us for our first ever visit to the famously beautiful Rock City on Lookout Mountain in Georgia and Chattanooga Tennessee - we walk all the way up to Lover's Leap where you can see seven states, explore the beautifully themed underground Fairyland Cavern, full of beloved fairytale and nursery rhyme characters and scenes, Gnome Valley and more!
We bring you along on a FULL TOUR of Rock City Garden, including walking through caves, tight mountain corridors, underground caverns, Swing-A-Long Bridge, the amazing Lovers Leap where it's alleged you can see the mountaintops of seven states, an underground fairytale wonderland called Fairyland Caverns, full of Brothers Grimm & Mother Goose fairy tales brought to life as glowing dioramas in dark caverns - one of the coolest things ever! Rock City is a history American tourist attraction dating back to the 1920's with so much rich history, so many sections and attractions that have stood the test of time, so much charm and quirkiness, tha we absolutely fell in love and I hope you do too! When I was searching for full tours of Rock City, I couldn't find the kind of video I wanted to see, that was comprehensive, full of detail and still a fun overview, so I tried to make the kind of video I was looking for, and I hope this is helpful to those who view it! This is part of our April 2022 road trip and there's lots more roadside attractions and more to come, so stay tuned and thanks for watching!
Welcome to Super Enthused! My name is Jackie and I bring you along as we visit fun and unique travel destinations, theme parks and attractions, road trips, resort tours and so much more. I hope you enjoy the videos, thanks for being here! ❤️

Love this video Jackie! I felt your jitters when walking over the bridges! You did great! The fairy tales and nursery rhymes took me back to childhood. 😃
This is why I love Jackie videos she just gave me another place to go visit! Love you Jackie!
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Rock City is one of our happy places; I’ve been going for nearly 40 years. Just watching your video made me so calm and relaxed. I’ve even gone through Needle’s Eye and Fat Man’s Squeeze carrying a baby on my back! Like others said, it’s beautiful at Christmastime too.
I went there as a kid and I remember people at the top of the mountain and them hang gliding off of it
I love going to Rock City, especially when the Christmas lights are up
Awesome! Welcome to Georgia ❤ The whole Lookout Mountain area from Chattanooga to Alabama is fantatstic.
It really is!!
Awesome video that was so beautiful and magical 🧙♀️ thank you & Sam for sharing it with us love y’all stay safe out there 👏🏼🙌👍🏼🙏🏼🌹❤️😍🧙♀️🎉🎊
So glad y'all loved it!! They have a lot of celebrations throughout the year. They have festivals for St Patrick's day, Octoberfest, and others. Christmas is a big celebration. You did a great job covering everything. Don't feel badly about your fear of heights; I have lived very close to Rock City my entire laugh, and I am still deathly afraid of heights! 😊. Come back soon!!
Hi Jackie,I have just returned home from a day in the ‘wilderness’ in Scotland,so great to get out of your usual environment, makes you appreciate life more, loved your video but would have been too claustrophobic for me to squeeze between the walls, lol🥰
Wow wow wow, absolutely gorgeous....Thanks you two for sharing.....Absolutely stunning
You are a terrific commentator! Your positive happy demeanor comes through in everything you share, even if it’s something you don’t care for you are still so positive! Very relaxing to watch your videos …thank you for bringing back childhood memories of all these great tourists locations. 👍
Really cool to learn about this place from a great tour guide. I love natural landmarks like this. It's pretty funny how Jackie rides Iron Gwazi no problem and then is freaked out by a suspension bridge! Thanks so much Jackie and Sam.
Wow! This place looks fantastic. I would love to visit here. It looks like it would take a whole day of exploring. Thanks for sharing, I love road trips and I love seeing new places to visit.
What an awesome video, the scenery is so beautiful. My favorite was the rock formation of the smoking pipe, thank Jackie & Sam.
When Jackie was like "Sam it look like somebody smoking a pipe". somebody in the background said what it sounded like a kid.that was funny. great video.
Yay, new road trip! Thanks for showing Rock city! Used to go with my parents when I was younger so been a while. I went for the enchanted Christmas but not all the trails were open to explore! So happy to see the stone and swing bridge and fat man’s squeeze! Enjoying it!
I had never heard of this place. So beautiful and unique!
Rock City is an old school attraction. I have not seen it in decades. Thank you for taking me back. I hope you are going to visit Ruby Falls next.
What an amazing place, enjoyed “spending the day” with you and as always loved the outro. Keep doing what you’re doing - I’m living vicariously through you 🥰
🙏🏼 bless you, Louise!
How spectacular. I love these non Disney travel vlogs. You did very well standing in front of that waterfall.
You and Sam are the nicest folks, thanks ..We love ya..
❤️❤️❤️
Jackie my grandmother worked at rock City Gardens back in the late 40s and 50s. Love that place. Did you know it started out as a mini golf course for the wealthy. There was a big resort
Love it. Stuff like this makes me love this channel even more. This looks like the most popular place nobody visits. Can't wait to see the next
Thank you, Ana!! UA-cam tells me these kinds of topics don’t do as well, but I don’t care! I do this for love of sharing all the things I’m enthused about, so I’ll keep going!!!! Hopefully ppl will catch on and give other things a chance haha!
@@SuperEnthused I think there are almost 95 thousand people who don't agree with UA-cam
You’re the best, Ana!
Wowie zowie! What a spectacularly gorgeous place! Even tho it's a man-made/enhanced park you can see the beauty of God wherever you look! What a great place! Thanks again for sharing this. Your vlogs are a bright spot in my life! 💜🤟🙏🥰
Hi guys this vlog was awesome you captured so much beautiful scenery have to say both of you were very brave enjoy your stay 😊
I will be coming here. This is my first time hearing about Rock City. I like your road trips
The only thing I knew about coming here would be seeing the seven states , and lovers leap. I can't wait to go here and experience everything you guys did. Very good video and very informative
Never been, looks awesome. Thanks for sharing!
I was at Rock City as a wide-eyed 7 year-old back in 1957!!! Thank You for letting Me revist some wonderful memories!!
I need to go there! Definitely on the bucket list. Sam is so brave on that bridge!
I haven’t been to Rock City Lookout mountain before. But I’ll check it out sometime.
Thanks for sharing Jackie, what a beautiful tranquil walk such an amazing place to be looks like yous are both having the best time 😊🙌🙌🙌
This is such a Cool place! I want to go so bad! Great video Jackie and Sam!
that bridge walk. damn thats beautiful!
So beautiful and so scary!
Beautiful piece of Heaven on Earth !! Thanks for sharing with us
I'm with Sam on this one, I love heights and those kind of swing bridges! Also, I liked the different camera angles! It still blows my mind how beautiful and massive rocks and mountains are! Just to think it was all naturally made from the Earth over thousands and millions of years and now we're treated with stunning views! Looking forward to your Tennessee adventures!
Blows my mind too, Billy! We have a few more crazy high things to do this week so I’m building up my bravery!
THIS PLACE LOOKS AWESOME!
I loved this video! I never heard of this place before I really wanna go. the view is absolutely beautiful
You find the coolest places, thanks for sharing
🙏🏼
You’re there during the National Cornbread Festival in South Pittsburg, TN. You’re right next to it!
So glad you enjoyed Rock City! I grew up going there. It’s so fun to go at Christmas too. They put up a ton of lights. Looking forward to your next stop on your road trip!
Great video. This is on my places to visit list
My hometown!! Glad you enjoyed
I went my first time as a teenager on a family road trip during the holidays then took my husband on our first married Christmas road trip. It was great deal back then with a combo ticket to Ruby Falls.
Wow! Now we have to go. That looks spectacular. Those views are amazing. I can't believe everything they did in the caverns. So cool! Thank you and Sam for another fun time. 😃
Absolutely beautiful! Wow Ty Jackie for taking us along with you guy's Luv&Peace Sean&family Cheers! 🙂✌🏼
I’m glad that you finally got to see part of my backyard and knowing that you passed my house to get into Tennessee to go to rocks city I’m happy that you had a good time
So happy you could experience this amazing gem! We used to go all the time when I was young. If you get the chance, go back during Christmas time when it is all lit up with lights. Truly magical! Also, hope you get the chance to do Ruby Falls and the Chattanooga Aquarium.
Fantastic! Was looking for something to watch with second breakfast. Thanks for coming through for me. 💖🎉
-Aimee
Woohooo! Enjoy Saturday second breakfast and hope u enjoy the vid!! 💜
Jackie - Glad that you and Sam are enjoying your road trip.
While I was earning my degree at Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, TN back in the early 1980's, friends and I enjoyed traveling up and around Lookout Mountain on our way to Cloudland Canyon State Park in Georgia.
Cloudland Canyon State Park is especially beautiful in the Spring when the Dogwoods are in bloom and in late September/ October when the leaves change their colors. There are multiple walking trails in Cloudland Canyon. At least one of the Trails takes you down the Canyon wall so you can walk along beside a series of waterfalls.
I HIGHLY recommend for anyone who happens to visit the Greater Chattanooga Area to make time to visit Cloudland Canyon State Park.
P.S. - as a bonus side trip, if you go to Collegedale TN, (just outside Chattanooga City Limits) you can visit the Bakery where LITTLE DEBBIE cakes are made.
Ohhh Gerry, I'll have to add Cloudland Canyon to my list, I love the sound of it!! Thank you!
You guys definitely need to come back! Check out some of the different events that Rock City has throughout the year. This last year my mother was "friends" with Mrs. Claus during the Enchanted Garden of Lights. They also have Rocktoberfest, and my personal favorite, Shamrock City.
Also you need to check out our local amusement park Lake Winnepesaukah. It was opened in 1925, and has a really fascinating history. I remember hearing stories about my grandparents going there when they were young. (actually it would be a great park for Sam to do a feature on!)
Ok you sold me, Kendra!! That sounds sooo fun!!
Aww Jackie you and Sam are so cute together 💗 so happy for you guys . Thank you for the videos our family enjoys your adventures 😊take care
Love these road trip videos.
❤️what an amazing place!
What a wonderful Spot have you visited. I'm hypnotized! I wait, what comes next.
OH LOOK MORE BEAUTFIFUL scenery and SMILES ALL AROUND :-) Love these videos. Your FACE LIGHTS Up when you 2 are together exploring the USA... How long is Sam in the promise land? Thank you for sharing a smidge of your life and the AMAZING VIDEOS
We went a few years ago after I haven't been in 30 years!!! Loved it just as much!
Jackie, glad to see u enjoying yourself, we did a family vacation their about 6 yrs ago and we loved it, seen rock city, lookout mountain, ruby falls , Dollywood and Graceland, someday get back their to see Gatlinburg,You and Sam have fun
I love this vlog. Those views are beautiful. I had to watch this twice.
We love visiting pigeon forge area and definintely want to stop here again on our next trip. The only time I went my mom was in a wheelchair so we were a little ilmited on some of the walking areas but it was a beautiful place. Also would love to do incline railway and ruby falls. Used to have one of those rock city birdhouses until it was destroyed by animals and midwest weather. Definitely want to buy another. Hope you have a wonderful trip.
I love that you are vlogging a place that is on my upcoming trip list. Visiting Fall 2022 and so happy I have a Super Enthused Vlog to guide me! And I think that sign at the beginning meant to leave the attraction as beautiful as you found out. Don’t mess it up so others won’t say it was beautiful before you visited but not anymore. Can’t wait to see where you’ll go next! Oh…and love the green shades. ☀️ 😎
Love love love this video. I could not do the walks my wheelchair would not fit but my husband would love that place.
I went there in 2011. Such a strange and neat place!
If you love this place you should come back during the holiday season they decorate all the outdoor trails with lights. They also have a Santa village and a ton of other Christmas characters there. It is definitely a must see.
Would LOVE to do that!! Def gunna try!
I just want to tell you thank you for your videos. I've been really depressed the past few months and watching and Sam has really helped me. Thank you for sharing your adventures. You have inspired me to start to create my own adventures.
Omg I’m so glad we caught this! Been watching all your Dollywood/TN vids & totally hitting this! Thx Jackie!
I never heard of this place before but now I want to go.
What a beautiful place. My sister lives outside Atlanta, and is an avid camper and hiker, she goes to the Lookout Mountain area a few times a year. I need to get her to take me there. 😎👍🏻Jackie, for all the thrill rides you go on, I would never think you have a fear of heights. 🤪
I know it's strange, but I don't love heights at all. I even get scared on the very tall coasters, like on Iron Gwazi at the top of the first lift hill, but it's different because you've got restraints on holding you in and it's only for a moment. It's different than just standing there, and I totally know it's irrational, so I try hard to overcome it, but my legs get weak and wobbly and I get this feeling!! But I hope if I keep trying to overcome it, maybe it will lessen. I hope!
@@SuperEnthused I could do the bridge, but can not do coasters any more. The really big ones. Space Mountain bothers me these days. Hey, I think you did great going over that bridge, most people with a fear of heights would have not attempted that park at all. So, I would say you don’t have a Fear of Heights, you are Uncomfortable with some Heights!!!
Good job. Love you guys getting out of Florida! It’s a great big Country! 😎👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Omg this is totally up my alley!!! Gotta tell my husband about this and take the kids this summer! Can’t wait to see what else is on your agenda! 😍
Yaaaaa!! I looove things like this so much and I’m so glad you do too!! It’s so special and fun!
What a beautiful place 😍😍 Hope, I will be able to visit it somewhen. Thank you for taking us with you 😊
Thanks for bringing the beautiful sights to us! Love your videos❤️
That was super cool. Totally love your take on the place, Thanks!
beautiful grounds. thank you for taking us along with you 😊
Great exsploring nice and beautiful place
Too funny that the swinging bridge petrified you - who can ride VELOCICOASTER like 5 times in a row and laugh the entire time! Nice video!
I know haha! It’s different!!! A roller coaster is controlled and not swinging over a giant chasm 😂😂😂
I lived in GA for 6 years and did not know about this. I have some Family in Tennessee so will see if we can stop there on a future road trip. I really enjoyed this video!
This was awesome. Now on my bucket list.
Simply amazing that looks like so much fun thank you for the cool video
Well worth the admission for sure and good exercise to boot.
Just like the both of you this vlog rocks :D
Yay!!! Welcome to Tennessee Jackie & Sam!!!You’re here for some beautiful weather! ☀️ hope you enjoy exploring!
My family and I are going there in June!
How exciting! Hope this video helps you plan and get excited!
Hi love your channel. Keep it up 🙏🏼.
Its refreshing to she you guys checking out a natural beautiful place instead of the excitement of the parks.
Love these fun adventures and road trips
Hey 👋 China doll travels.
@@lukeroberts3464 hi 👋
@@ChinaDollTravels hopefully 🙏 you’re doing well China doll travels.
Looks really cool & fun!! I would totally visit. That fairytale cavern was so awesome!!
You hit a lot of places I visited as a kid. I remember them well. They've clean up the place quite a bit from 40+years back!
I still remember that view! WOW! So many memories I had of that place with friends and family! I will get back there soon!
Thanks so much. So interesting, fun and wow those views!!
This is really a unique and different kind of place, very much in the category of “Quaint, Olde School Attractions”. It’s really great to see that they are still thriving, they just don’t create attractions like this anymore. Definitely get some good exercise in with all the walking and stairs. The underground “Fairy Tale Tunnel” was certainly a very cool adventure. They definitely don’t make them like this anymore. Thanks for taking us along, Jackie! ☺️
Thank you so much for sharing this! I’ve never heard of it before. It looks like you both had a great time.
This was super cool! Since you like cool tourist things, I hope one day you go to House on the Hill in Wisconsin. I'd love to go someday, but seeing it through your eyes at least would be awesome. Look forward to Dollywood videos!!!
Ah yesss I’ll add it to the list, thank you!!
Jackie, this was an amazing video! I grew up in Florida and have driven through Georgia more times than I can count and I NEVER knew this there. We watched this video and are planning on visiting. Btw, those rope bridges would have freaked me out too! Thanks for sharing and being Enthused!
Took my family here almost every year from the late 70’s thru the 80’s! Great experience and your video brought back many memories!
Thanks
I love this video! I wanted a Rock City birdhouse for so long, and my boyfriend said I couldn’t get one unless I actually went there! So we went! That was about 10 years ago, And my fear of heights have only increased since then so I’m not sure I’d have fun again-but it sure is fun watching everyone else go on those edges! Lovely place!
Haha well at least u did it!
Loved this. Never been there, the vlog showed everything perfectly
Oh wow 👌 that's incredible 🏴
Love this video, brings back my familes trip to the area, it looks like it hasnt changed.
I absolutely love this video!!! The hubs and I have to definitely go and experience Rock City!! Parts of it remind my of videos I’ve seen of Eftling amusement park.
Totally I feel that too and can’t wait to visit Efteling one day!
Thanks for sharing your great trip
This vlog was so enchanting! Rock City looks awesome and inspiring that one couple’s dream became a reality. ❤️
There’s something similar (not half as cool though) in the Forest of Dean, UK called Clearwell Caves and Puzzlewood. Sam might know about them. Can’t wait to watch see more of your road trip! ⭐️
