@@SylhetyFuwaaI was a High Court Enforcement Agent for several years. To answer your question, if your car is on finance the chances are they won’t. That’s not to say there’s no chance. They’ll run a check on the finance duration, if the vehicle is in the last few months of the agreement and will cover the debt owed, they may take the car and pay the remaining payments once it’s sold at auction. This is rare, and I’ve only heard of it being done a couple of times. Bailiffs really don’t want your car, they’ll use it as leverage to prompt payment.

So if it's on finance, once I show them proof it's on finance, then they have to remove the clamp, is that correct?
