I rake through the 5th, 4th, and 3rd usually. I think a better way to think about it is the goal after raking my right thumb through the strings is for my thumb to end up between the G# and high B strings.

Question when you rake for the 1st string do you still just hit 6th 5th and 4th string and rest your thumb
