Let's just say that some guys are low-key aware they are dating call girls (the jewelry us code/expected for payment), no criticism to the guy, but this is how this guy's story sounded (expensive restaurants too)
Last story reminds me of a popular saying about dating apps, "A guy's worst fear is meeting someone ugly, a girl's worst fear is getting murdered." Not always true, but definitely comes to mind in that story.
Regarding story #2: Don’t choose a fancy restaurant and don’t buy a girl jewelry or presents for the first date when you’ve never met before. There’s no need to spend a lot of money up and it seems more desperate than impressive.
yeah. if you were already dating online for a while and It was your first real life meeting that's another story. but I've been given jewelry by a guy I had only recently started chatting with and any attraction I could have had completely dissipated. it's so uncomfortable to be given romantic gifts by people you barely know.
@@ErieRosewoodI feel like if u really wanna get a girl something for a first date I think flowers r ok but any more then that is a bit too much and I agree with u guy it definitely comes off as desperate. Sometimes people feel entitled when they offer you something big on a first date. They expect something in return (often sex). I heard a lot of stories about people that nearly got assaulted, or stalked, because their date gave them an expensive gift (non asked for) who want a "return on investment" 🤢.

Is it me, or are two of the stories related... the girl in baseball cap with acne using filters... both sides of the story trying to pin the other part as a psycho O_O
Who knows if these stories are fact or fiction, but regardless, the one with the girl meeting the “male model Viking” highlights a potential issue people should keep in mind. Never forget the old maxim “if it’s too good to be true, it probably is”. Having an inflated sense of entitlement can blind people enough to forget common sense and thus potentially place themselves in danger. If you’re meeting someone for the first time, always be skeptical until you verify the reality of the situation. Those angry “neck beards” can be more than cringy. They can be dangerous. (Yes, I see the irony of giving personal safety advice that would deprive me of these amazing stories I love to hear on this channel! 😂)
It is NOT entitlement (especially not an inflated sense) to expect someone to look like their pictures! And attractive people aren't obligated to give people they're not attracted to a "chance" if they don't want to. Incels do more than feel insecure -- even when they finally get a girlfriend, even if she's attractive and kind, they still treat her like crap because both their sense of self and their feelings towards women are so warped that they're rotten inside. They end up being controlling, needy, abusive, and threaten to take their lives if the woman wants to leave. If a woman gives them a chance before they're deprogrammed, they'll make her pay for every woman the incel felt entitled to but didn't get.
@@LadyAstarionAncunin Just to clarify, when I wrote “entitled”, I was saying that someone should be realistic about the attractiveness of a potential match. A “10” isn’t going to want to match a “5” so it can be a warning sign. Not admitting something may be too good to be true can put someone in danger. That goes for both genders. Expecting someone to look like their pictures is reasonable, it’s entitlement if you look like a hobbit and get matched with a princess and believe that’s what you deserve without being at least a little bit skeptical.
Man these were some pretty chilling catfish stories, I mean I've heard the ones where they scam you for money, but these are their own brand of messed up.
You're incredible at telling stories, love the last one. Glad she stuck up for herself. And at least it was her in the photos could have been a whole other girl... the guy sounds like a creep .
Yup. I saw it too. That guy was ridiculous. In the majority of incels I’ve seen online, their attitudes are the actual problem. If they’d change them and actually be nice & respectful to women, they might actually get a date.
I’m pretty sure it was Elliot Rodgers. The guy’s manifesto of sorts blamed women saying they only liked chads types and used guys like him. Pretty sad to know that whatever the cause was it was enough to inflict violence to the many people around him. I don’t think the writer should blame themselves but it puts into perspective that you really don’t know what people are capable of.
Dude that whole story was really annoying, the fact he had to say things like that pissed me off. And beyond that I literally couldn’t help but cringe at the fact that he was getting upset she didn’t know Star Wars and Star Trek references. Like she’s just interested in you dude. Lmao
Darthmonk864 Eh, I think his annoyance at her mixing them up is valid, as those were some of the interests they bonded over, and she pretended to know her stuff and be a fan of both shows prior to meeting. If she hadn’t pretended to be a fan and proceeded to confuse the two shows, I’m sure he wouldn’t have cared. Her confusing the show references wasn’t the issue, per se, but rather the fact that it revealed that she’d been lying.
getting their snapchat makes it a lot easier to spot catfishes, there are little signs that give it away like if they only post pictures from memories, or the the way they will type or how long it takes to respond, obviously not a 100% technique to find out, the most important thing is if you get a weird or bad vibe then delete them, trust your instincts
I listen to these at work so I notice a lot more than some people that fall asleep to these things. I found it pretty intriguing when I realised story 3 and 9 are the same from each persons perspective, same people different kinda story, somebody’s lying 🤥
i got catfished a lot when i was younger bc i was too trusting and i’m so happy that i never sent anyone money or my personal info (like address or phone number)
People never learn: Tell the truth. Guy in Story 3 could have saved some time if he'd just said that he didn't feel a connection and wasn't interested in continuing. Anyone should say that, at the very least, so they'll have evidence that they turned the person down if the police need it later. I went on a date with a guy even though I wasn't interested in him (my friends encouraged me to). Guy was handsy and expected me to sleep with him but I didn't. He sets up a second date, I get ready, he's late, I text him, and he finally says he's not coming because he didn't think there was a connection (there sure was enough for him to be handsy with me, but okay). I just say I agree and let it go. Some people might not leave it at that, but you can at least document your rejection for your own defense later.
The OP that was blaming themself for the guy committing a mass shooting- What you did was bad, but it's not your fault that guy decided to take it to that level. His actions are his own doing, you didn't force him to do that. Don't let him make you blame yourself for his decisions. He shoulda just took the L and been more careful online. His crime was his own fault. Not yours.
Angeline D bruh, the title literally says they’re true stories. And even if it’s not, you’re still allowed to think critically on it. Shut up and get off your high horse.
I know I shouldn't victim blame but story 2...bruh. Some people need a wake up call to get them out of their stupidity. "She called me to the parking lot, that totally made sense to me" nOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO what? WHAT?
My friend was catfish from a woman named Blair from the Philippines she got my friend good , he bought her an iPhone , money 💰 for her parents, gift cards to Starbucks and fancy clothes and restaurants like I’m dead serious they’ve never met in person
Real Catfishing is someone who lies about something very important or something that you cannot change like say a woman mention that she is 5 feet"8 but when you met her, she's actually 4"11 or someone who lies about not having kids when they do this is Catfishing. A skin condition such as acne who can fluctuate and deteriorate or get better with stress, hormones ,temoperature or a certain time during the month is NOT catfishing. Our skin is changing all the time, a girl might have took a picture of herself in February and her skin was clear and by the time she meets you in person in December, depending of what's going on in her life her skin condition can be very different and I say it's pretty much the same thing with weight, especially for us women, it can fluctuate a lot depending of our hormones, and isn't something you can always control. Pick your battles, dudes.
Have you ever had a dream about someone you're in a relationship with, someone you're madly in love with, deep connection and all that? Then, you wake up at some point and realize the person never even existed. It's awful and it's like you're catfishing yourself.
The girl who was fined won't, in all likelihood, turn up at his apartment house again. But be careful when you go back to work once this endless lockdown is completely lifted. I'm in NYC; if you're back at work where you are, just take care since she almost certainly knows where that is! Having said that, she knows you'll almost certainly get the police involved, so I predict she'll stay away.

Is it me, or are two of the stories related... the girl in baseball cap with acne using filters... both sides of the story trying to pin the other part as a psycho O_O
OK YEAH IK
I was thinking the exact same thing.
I'm sure they are all fake from reddit users. I prefer the ones he does in which he actually does real life stories that can easily be verified.
Man these were some pretty chilling catfish stories, I mean I've heard the ones where they scam you for money, but these are their own brand of messed up.
No they weren't all falsified
@@chiapets2594 I didn't say they were.
@@mleighqs girl i just wanted to say that you're so pretty 😘 I see you frequently on the same channels as me and figured I'd finally compliment you
@@melissajacobs5822 Thank you I'm glad you like the picture. It's not really me but a friend made it for me and he's awesome :) .
The one story was definitely just a nice guy fantasy 🙄 "he made me wait and I loved it I didn't feel worthy" oh please 😂
22:20 and then everyone clapped
You're incredible at telling stories, love the last one. Glad she stuck up for herself. And at least it was her in the photos could have been a whole other girl... the guy sounds like a creep .
Thanks for the upload!
I just come for the cute bird calls and nice morning sounds at the end of the video! Makes me feel comfy.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing you in my notifs!! Much love
_who else loves catfish stories?_
Me!
Same! 🙌🏻
@@pinkroyaljelly i love that name

I always look through the comments first to make sure I know what I’m getting into.
Thank you for getting me through this quarantine. Hope kids see this comment in 5-10 years wondering wtf I’m talking about
The one with the girl being recorded, I SAW THAT VIDEO!!
Yup. I saw it too. That guy was ridiculous. In the majority of incels I’ve seen online, their attitudes are the actual problem. If they’d change them and actually be nice & respectful to women, they might actually get a date.
Whoa..the ending to story 8 gave me chills 😥
you'll never guess who that man was
Nerobyrne is it the isla vista murders?
@@Hyuxnie he wasn't arrested though, he ended up killing himself
I’m pretty sure it was Elliot Rodgers. The guy’s manifesto of sorts blamed women saying they only liked chads types and used guys like him. Pretty sad to know that whatever the cause was it was enough to inflict violence to the many people around him. I don’t think the writer should blame themselves but it puts into perspective that you really don’t know what people are capable of.
@@eldritch_moomin ah that's true.
Wait holy crap that means this happened more than once in that place? That's a messed up town.
12:23 "Lacking sophistication."
I wasn't expecting a horror story from Reddit.
Every night I listen to your stories. Your voice is really soothing, and the content is great. Your are my favourite horror story channel :)
Ok,so those 2 going for a walk stories were from the guy and the girl involved, right? Too coincidental? Thanks for another great video!!!❤
This is what I thought, but from different points of view, but who is being honest?
I listen to these at work so I notice a lot more than some people that fall asleep to these things. I found it pretty intriguing when I realised story 3 and 9 are the same from each persons perspective, same people different kinda story, somebody’s lying 🤥
it was the .. " looking like Dwight from the office for me !! LOL !!!!
Let’s Read makes some amazing content. These catfish stories are amazing
I really thought story 9 was gonna be the girls version of that second story of the guy who was learning Italian 😂
The Office reference about Dwight Schrute though haha :D
3rd story: lol no dude you need to work on your pick up line so you don't get catfished
I LOVE THESE TYPES OF STORIES!
Hahahaha +1 for that Dwight from The Office reference made me laugh hahaha
That second guy.. Damn you are one dense soul
Best podcast channel!
I'm guessing that one story is supposed to be that one guy who called himself the supreme gentleman, can remember his name, wrote a whole manifesto
I thought, too, but he wasn't arrested. He uh...did himself in, so it can't be the same guy as in the story
i got catfished a lot when i was younger bc i was too trusting and i’m so happy that i never sent anyone money or my personal info (like address or phone number)
I love your channel. You have the most soothing voice. Your videos help me overcome my insomnia. Thank you.
Awesome as usual 💜
Second I love your vids man I always be eating ramen on your live streams
I'm sorry to guy #2😭
You're not alone!
Love your channel
The OP that was blaming themself for the guy committing a mass shooting-
What you did was bad, but it's not your fault that guy decided to take it to that level. His actions are his own doing, you didn't force him to do that. Don't let him make you blame yourself for his decisions. He shoulda just took the L and been more careful online.
His crime was his own fault. Not yours.
You took all that time and put so much thought into a very fake tale.
Angeline D bruh, the title literally says they’re true stories.
And even if it’s not, you’re still allowed to think critically on it.
Shut up and get off your high horse.
Was about to say sounded like a anti gun grabber wrote that story
I know I shouldn't victim blame but story 2...bruh. Some people need a wake up call to get them out of their stupidity. "She called me to the parking lot, that totally made sense to me" nOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO what? WHAT?
Love these stories
My friend was catfish from a woman named Blair from the Philippines she got my friend good , he bought her an iPhone , money 💰 for her parents, gift cards to Starbucks and fancy clothes and restaurants like I’m dead serious they’ve never met in person

Awesome!! Thank you 😘

Story 7 girl, I hope you're ok! I have done something as well. We do what we need to survive.
This video was great! keep it up😄
early club 🥰 hi y’all, how are you all keeping up? be safe n spread good vibes
Good vibes 🌹
i was so early i watched his live stream of this yesterday -_-
Aaron Nazzy Nice one! So did i. I’d woken up at 3.30am (early bird ftw). I don’t think the whole gatekeeping this is all that good of a vibe though.
You tell really good stories
Love the voice!!!
i have going to catfish the tv show for so long and then i was blessed with this video
Great work🤘🖤
The girl who was fined won't, in all likelihood, turn up at his apartment house again. But be careful when you go back to work once this endless lockdown is completely lifted. I'm in NYC; if you're back at work where you are, just take care since she almost certainly knows where that is! Having said that, she knows you'll almost certainly get the police involved, so I predict she'll stay away.
Story 8, Elliot Rodgers?????
The supreme gentleman hahahahaa
Thank you. Just on time!
Love your work!!!
Keep it up ☺☺
