Okay, okay... You win! I thought I had pushed my luck with tires. I’ve yet to break a bead cord! I may have been guilty of running a few trailer tires until the little wire wear indicators start to show though😬 Nice looking hay, my 2nd cut on a small Alfalfa field netted me just over 7 bales to the acre! It’s been a fuzz dry around these parts until last week! Bless’ns to ya sir, Tedd
36" rears are tough to come by these days. I had to change a 3010 to 38" a few years back by putting centers from a 60 on it. Good luck. Best regards from Indiana.
Hey Dirt Farmer , i found your channel bc of the wheat cutting video. I thought southern md was down by va on the westernshore. Im down on the easternshore about 30 miles north of the va line. About 30 miles south of the mason dixon line. Down here the md Delaware state line is the actual mason dixon line, theres a few monuments on line.rd stating this is the mason dixon line. Just a little history i thought you may or not know. I enjoy your videos and the tractor church.
Hope you can find a tire soon. Nice looking orchard grass. Hope y'all are getting some rain over your way. We got some last night. With the heat you can burn it up quick. Thanks for sharing the video.
I thought I was only one that had tractor tires looked like that. Have a 404 international with one original tire still on it, not pretty but it works.
My 50 John Deere had38” tires on it. Both of my 520’s have 36” tires. I don’t run fluid in any of the John Deere’s. Even the 520 that has the loader on it. I do run fluid in my little Kubota. Rim Guard ( beet juice) is what I run in it. It is very nearly as heavy as calcium chloride, without all the corrosion issues.
Our 530 has 36” wheels and l got lucky several years ago and a man had two good used tires and two new tubes for $200. I jumped on that deal like a chicken on a June bug. Hope you have good luck and find one soon.
Always something flat tiers seem to come in 3s good looking hay put up some squares to sell myself round baled 125 for the cows we.use to square bale every thing don't think could do it all now age trying to play games with me
Thanks I used to run a farmall m with a Wisconsin two cylinder bailer in north east ct when I was a kid. We had a doodle bug log skidder. And my dad removed the back fender of an old plymouth to power the cord wood saw. Was wondering how you get those tobacco seeds? I'm still in ct but not close to the tobacco farms in our state. Nice to see your old equipment. Not sure how I found your channel but I subscribed and liked.
I'm impressed with the ratchet strap, I would've run tie wire round & round an tied er off (till I found a tire a corse). I had some tired tires, but if you're ready for when they go, they just keep Goin
Looking at again, it likely is a 311. Wide stripper bars gave me an idea of the age. Up to the 326 models, NH made the best. Small sq balers I'm not sure about anything later, I just know that a 326 could bury me in bales when I stacked behind one. I could keep up with a 281, but I was younger and dumber then! 😮😂
Is that about average price on Orchard grass hay in your area? I haven't sold much hay in the past few years, been feeding it out, bought some large square bales for about $50.00 per bale. I don't have any more 36" tires we switched to 38" a few years back, easier to find!
We can buy 'em new here too, I'm just so used to digging up good used tires l don't usually consider buying a new one. l don't make much money farming, a few new tractor tires and you don't make any. Thanks so much for time to comment.
That's hard work ! Something you don't see these days

Old school baling in the summertime…don’t miss that!
Love your sense of humor, Bill, and those faces you make! You make laugh, or at least smile. LOL.
Love the videos my brother..... keep em coming!
Thanks for the kind words Jeff.
Thanks Bill good video.
Enjoyed watching & seen something very rare @ Ur place & that is a NH 311 baler w/o a super sweep pickup. Thank U 4 sharing!

7 bales, wow, l guess l shouldn't feel bad about getting 20.
My dad called a man about a $100 dump truck several years ago. Dad asked him about the tires, he said “they’re round and black “. Enjoy your videos.
HaHa, thanks for the funny comment, glad you enjoy my foolishness.
As long as they ain’t flat on the bottom, they’re purdy good aight then
Fantastic ..I just love your videos.very interesting
Thank you for your kind words, l thought you'd enjoy them.

Great minds think alike.
You have a lot of nice old tractors and farm equipment. Easy to work on. Keep up the good work?
Thanks for watching and taking time to leave a comment.

Some nice looking hay...
Thanks, we do our best.
That little bit is what usually gers you bill
Full watch and a thumbs Bill.
Holly Molly. Hays expensive in Maryland. We only get 250 to 400. In Indiana
Hey Rich! We haven't seen a $4 bale of good hay in Maryland in more than 40 years.

Thanks Ben, great to hear from you! I can save you some seeds this fall, we'll figure how to get 'em to ya then.
i just changed one of my 530 from 36 to 38. I hate 36's. I have 1 good 36in tire but I am to far to send it to you. I'm in New Brunswick Canada. :)
Hey it was good to hear from you anyway!
Ratchet straps, rubber tarp straps, and zip ties. What would life be like without them?
A lot harder and more expensive!
I'm not going to say anything but I'm smiling
Did u enjoyed pulling in the ntpa
Yes, it was a blast to be able to run with 'em and actually finish close to the top since l did all the work myself and ran low dollar junkyard stuff.
Awsome
Is that a NH 273? NH made some great ones;
Hey, l believe it's a 311.
Time for some new shoes for the 520
Amen Brother.
👍👍
That looks fixed good enough to use
Yeah, we probably will use it to pick up something off the truck, or put somthin' on.
you are very intertaining
Hey, l like that!
I'm impressed with the ratchet strap, I would've run tie wire round & round an tied er off (till I found a tire a corse). I had some tired tires, but if you're ready for when they go, they just keep Goin
Yeah, I thought the ratchet strap might ad a little style.
The new tires you buy will never last like those. These foreign tires of today are short life junk 😢😢

Good morning Bill.
Mornin'!
Expensive as tires are you gotta get all you can out of them.
You got it.
Nice trick with the ratchet strap.
Ya do what you got to.

Hey Jeff, I charge a little more 'cause mine is known in this area to be hay that horses will eat every scrap of, and not waste any.
Put some amish style wheels on your tractors they never loosing air or water . 🤣🤣 Regards from germany
Hey, now there's a solution l hadn't thought of!
@@so.md.dirtfarmer2226It is nice to see the old stuff working !
@@mbury8004 Are you including Me in the "old stuff"? HaHa
@@so.md.dirtfarmer2226 Oh no sir i am 60year by my self . I mean the nice old tractors and machines . 😂😂
@@mbury8004 Like my 98 year old grandfather used to say, "you're just a boy"!
36" tyres available in the UK, not much help to you though, around £230 for round and black,12.4x36 8ply...

The old fluid would eat up the rims. The methanol is as corrosive. But you run with what you brung. 👍
Pretty hay
Number one thing is to wait for the hottest day of the year or that’s what my dad always did.
HaHa, thanks for the tip!
