We have a boat! - Amphib Caravan walk-around

A walk-around video of our amphibious float Caravan. This C208 was our first Cessna Caravan, fitted with Wipline 8000 amphib floats.
The short body Caravan has the same model engine as our C208B Grand Caravan, the Pratt and Whitney PT6 (specifically, the PT6A-114A).
The seaplane version of the Caravan sits a lot taller than the landplane version, as shown when parked next to one of our Chieftains!

Unreal video! Still shocks me how much higher the Float Caravan sits, I parked my 208B next to one and I was still well under the wing!

Thanks mate! Yeah it’s huge isn’t it! It actually makes parking it easier in some ways, because the ring fits over the top of most things!

Do many land based caravans have radalt?

Ours does (in the G600 panel) and all of the others I’ve flown do, but whether it’s standard or not I’m not sure!
